Akar – das Wort bedeutet „Wurzel“ – ist das Steakhouse des K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, nördlich von Ubud, eingebettet ins Grün des Dschungels. Auf zwei Etagen mit zwei Bars und offener Küche werden australische und japanische Cuts, darunter Wagyu, über Holzkohle gegrillt, dazu Meeresfrüchte, über Holzkohle geröstetes Knochenmark und eine sorgfältig zusammengestellte Weinkarte. Freitag- und Samstagabend wird das Dinner zum Fest, mit Live-DJs, Tänzern und einer Lasershow. Akar wurde bei den World Luxury Restaurant Awards als Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia ausgezeichnet.
