Desa Kitsuné Bali: the Canggu village by Savaya — dinner, garden parties and how to book

Café Kitsuné, Maison Kitsuné and the Ina Re restaurant in one garden in Canggu, curated by Savaya, with event nights that turn the lawn into a party. What the place is, which nights matter, and how FirstBali books a table there.

Desa Kitsuné is not a club, which is why people love it and why they get it wrong. It is a village: a garden in Canggu with Café Kitsuné for coffee, a Maison Kitsuné boutique, the Ina Re restaurant for a Mediterranean-leaning dinner, and seasonal installations that make the whole place look like a set. It is curated by the team behind Savaya, and that shows on the nights it decides to become a party.

Day, dinner, night

By day it is the prettiest coffee in Canggu and a shop you will spend longer in than planned.

At dinner Ina Re is a reservation worth making on its own — a garden table, a Mediterranean menu, cocktails that change with the season.

On event nights the garden becomes the dancefloor. The line-up is booked by Savaya's people, so the names are serious for a lawn in Canggu, and the crowd knows it. These nights are announced in advance and run on tables and a guestlist like a club does.

Which nights

Desa Kitsuné throws its garden parties every Tuesday and Friday, "rain or shine" in its own words, plus occasional one-off nights. The guestlist rules are set out in the Desa Kitsuné guestlist guide. The current calendar is on the events page; each event carries its own guestlist and table details for that date.

Tables and guestlist

A table on an event night reserves a space in the garden with a minimum spend attached — set by the venue for that night, belonging to the table rather than to each guest. Busy nights ask for a deposit, deducted from what you spend.

The guestlist, when there is one, is free standing entry before a cutoff time. It closes when the garden is full.

FirstBali asks the venue for your date and passes on the confirmed amount. Nothing is quoted before that.

Where it sits

Canggu, a short ride from Berawa and the beach clubs, which makes a natural evening: sunset at the beach, dinner at Ina Re, the party without changing address. The road out of Canggu clogs at night; a driver who waits is worth more than the fare.

How FirstBali books it

Send the concierge the date and the size of your group, and say whether you want dinner, the event, or both. The venue confirms availability and the minimum for that night; you decide; confirmation and the car follow in the same conversation.
