Supper club in Bali: dinners that turn into a show
Supper clubs in Bali: Bazaar MOI's dinner spectacle, fire dancers at Sardine's Gates of Bali, Akar's dancers and lasers, BELLA's Kitchen Party, then Desa Kitsuné, Zumana or Savaya.
Updated October 26, 2026 · 4 min read

Bali has no single supper club, but several restaurants stage the evening like one. MOI in Berawa runs Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes. Sardine in Seminyak hosts The Gates of Bali once a month, with fire dancers and aerial acts. Akar near Ubud adds dancers and a laser show on Friday and Saturday nights, and BELLA turns dinner into a Kitchen Party. For the hours after, the Savaya Group's three venues take over. FirstBali books the table through the concierge.

What "supper club" means here
In Bali the word covers a format rather than a membership: one booking, a long dinner, something to watch, and a party that starts without anyone leaving the table. It differs from dinner with a DJ, where the music is a soundtrack, and from dinner then a club, where the group moves. Here the restaurant is the stage, so the table you are given matters as much as the menu. Most of these nights are weekly or monthly, so the date you pick decides whether there is a show at all; the restaurant confirms what runs that evening.
The staged dinners
Bazaar MOI, Berawa
MOI cooks with fire and Mediterranean flavours, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address. Bazaar MOI is its themed dinner spectacle, Eastern Mediterranean, with dancers and costumes; Monday Society is another of its themed nights. After sunset the evening turns into a party.
The Gates of Bali, Seminyak
Sardine, the K-Club Group's seafood restaurant on Jalan Petitenget, sits in an open-air bamboo building over rice paddies. Once a month The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts, and Les Toilettes, the hidden club on site, hosts DJs afterwards. Ask the concierge which night of the month it falls on.
Akar's weekend nights, near Ubud
Akar, K Club's steakhouse in the jungle at Kedisan, Tegallalang, spreads over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive with live DJs, dancers and a laser show.
BELLA's Kitchen Party, Berawa
BELLA, run by The SEN Group, puts an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth in one room; weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party are where its dinners become a party.
Moi
Restaurants · Berawa
MOI Canggu is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address MOI Bodrum. The kitchen works with fire and Mediterranean flavours, for dinners meant to be lingered over, and the cocktails draw on sun-warmed botanicals. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party. Themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.
Sardine
Restaurants · Seminyak
Sardine by K-Club is a seafood restaurant on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, set in an open-air bamboo building that looks over a stretch of rice paddies, with a terrace for lunch or dinner. The kitchen cooks the daily catch (yellowfin tuna, scallops, snapper) in a modern Mediterranean style, with vegetables from its own farms and a vegetarian set menu. Evenings can run late: Les Toilettes, the hidden club on site, hosts DJs, and once a month The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts.
Akar
Restaurants · Ubud
Akar, meaning “root”, is the steakhouse of K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, north of Ubud, set in the greenery of the jungle. Spread over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen, it grills Australian and Japanese cuts, Wagyu included, over charcoal, alongside seafood, charcoal-roasted bone marrow and a curated wine list. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Akar has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.
BELLA
Restaurants · Berawa
BELLA is a contemporary Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, run by The SEN Group. Executive chef Oğuz Karadoğan, formerly of Lokanta 1741 in Istanbul, cooks a wood-fired menu made for sharing: lamb meatballs in rich tomato sauce with Hokkaido bread, a Mediterranean ceviche of seabass, kefir and gremolata, a whole roasted cauliflower with tahini. The room is built around an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth, and the evening turns into a party, with weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party.
Live music at sunset
On the Pecatu cliffs, El Kabron's sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, and its Sunset Theater at the cliff edge is set up for sunset dinners. On Canggu's Jalan Tanah Barak, Giselle lets Club 55 take over after dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
When the show ends: the partner clubs
- Desa Kitsuné, Canggu: a Savaya Group village with Maison Kitsuné, where Ina Ré serves dinner and the garden becomes the party every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine.
- Zumana, Kuta: the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, with its restaurant Manuza on site; Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays.
- Savaya, Uluwatu: the clifftop club with The Cube; Last Light on Mondays, headliners at weekends. Savaya reports that DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026.
All three are 21+ with a valid passport or driver's licence, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred at the door. A table is the only reserved space; some nights have a guestlist with a cutoff shown on the night's page, some are ticketed only.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
How to book a supper-club night
- Start with the show, not the date: themed and monthly nights decide the evening. The concierge asks the venue which night it runs.
- Ask for a table with a view of it. Say if you want the performance or a quieter corner.
- Tell the restaurant about dietary needs when booking, not at the table.
- Dress smart casual; if a club follows, no flip-flops or sportswear.
- Keep one driver for the night through transport.
Where FirstBali fits
Tell the concierge the night, the group and whether a club follows. FirstBali asks the restaurant, and the club if you want a table after; each is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. FirstBali checks what can be arranged for an occasion. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
