Seminyak Saturday night: dinner, club and what to check

A Saturday night in Seminyak: dinner at Sardine and Les Toilettes at the same address, MU:IN's signature nights on Petitenget, or Zumana's Ritual of the Sun in Kuta. How to plan it.

A Saturday night in Seminyak is built on Jalan Petitenget. Sardine, the K-Club Group's seafood restaurant, shares its address with Les Toilettes, the group's nightclub, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place; MU:IN, on the same street, runs weekly signature nights. If you want a fixed Saturday programme, the one we can state is in Kuta: Zumana's Ritual of the Sun.

What we can and cannot tell you about a Seminyak Saturday

The Seminyak venues in our catalogue do not publish a named Saturday night the way Zumana or Savaya do. MU:IN describes "weekly signature nights" with resident DJs and international guests in rotation; Les Toilettes draws on club concepts from around the world. Which night falls on your Saturday is something the concierge checks with the venue, rather than something we would guess here.

Option one: Sardine, then Les Toilettes

The simplest Seminyak Saturday stays at one address.

  • Dinner at Sardine. An open-air bamboo building looking over a stretch of rice paddies, cooking the daily catch (yellowfin tuna, scallops, snapper) in a modern Mediterranean style, with vegetables from its own farms and a vegetarian set menu.
  • Then Les Toilettes. The hidden club on the same site, now in its 2.0 version. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.

Sardine's own description adds that once a month The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts; ask whether it falls on your Saturday.

Option two: MU:IN

MU:IN Bali brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Jalan Petitenget. The club is built around sound and sightlines: a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig with LED production, and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. VIP sofas with bottle service look straight onto the main floor. It is 21+. MU:IN or Les Toilettes compares the two clubs on what each states.

Option three: the fixed Saturday in Kuta

Zumana, the Savaya Group beach club on Sunset Bay in Kuta, holds Ritual of the Sun every Saturday: a sunset night on the beach, usually with a guest artist, that carries on after dark. If you would rather start with the sunset and know what the night is in advance, this is the one. Each date's terms are on its page: a night showing only Table is ticketed only, and on a guestlist night every guest registers individually. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.

Savaya, on the Uluwatu clifftop, runs its international headliners at weekends, but that is a different part of the island and a different night: choose one.

How to plan it

  1. Pick the night first, then dinner. At Sardine both come together; for MU:IN or Zumana, dine close by.
  2. Ask about tables early. Saturday is the night tables go first. Wherever you book, the venue sets the terms; at Zumana a table is the only reserved space and its minimum spend, set per night, "Includes Food & Beverage Credit".
  3. Bring ID. Les Toilettes, MU:IN and Zumana all admit guests aged 21 and over; at Zumana, a passport or driving licence.
  4. Dress smart. No flip-flops, sandals or sportswear at Les Toilettes; smart casual at Zumana. More in the men's dress code.
  5. Book the car home through transport.

How FirstBali helps

Tell the concierge your Saturday, how many you are and which kind of night you want. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening. We check what is on with the venue, book the dinner or the table and arrange the car, and for Zumana we send the night's guestlist link. Nothing is confirmed until the venue has confirmed it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
