Bali Saturday night: the plan, from sunset to late

Saturday night in Bali: Ritual of the Sun at Zumana in Kuta, weekend headliners at Savaya in Uluwatu, and in Canggu dinners that turn into parties. Choose one area and book Saturday tables early.

Updated October 21, 2026 · 3 min read

Saturday is the island's biggest night out, and its fixed points are clear. Zumana in Kuta holds Ritual of the Sun, its weekly sunset night, usually with a guest artist; Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop runs its international headliners at weekends; and in Canggu several restaurants turn into parties after dinner. Choose one area, book early if you want a table, and read each night's terms on its page.

The two big Saturdays

Zumana: Ritual of the Sun

Saturday at Zumana, the Savaya Group beach club on Sunset Bay in Kuta, is Ritual of the Sun: a sunset night on the beach, usually with a guest artist, that starts in the afternoon and carries on after dark. Each Saturday's guest is announced on its own page, and now and then a one-off takes the date instead. Ritual of the Sun covers it in full.

Savaya: the weekend headliners

Savaya, in Pecatu, sits 100 metres above the Indian Ocean around The Cube; DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026. Its international headliners come at weekends, so Saturday is the night most people picture. Savaya's tickets are, in its words, "primarily for standing room only"; a table is the only reserved space. Read Savaya at the weekend before choosing.

Saturday in Canggu: dinner that becomes the night

If you would rather stay in Canggu, the catalogue has several Saturday evenings that grow out of dinner:

  • Ina Ré, Desa Kitsuné. Its Courtyard Saturdays have their own menu; see Ina Ré Courtyard Saturdays.
  • Riviera Berawa. A Mediterranean bistro and wine bar where, on Saturdays, the evening turns into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs.
  • Giselle, Canggu. On Friday and Saturday nights, Club 55 takes over after dinner.
Ina Ré

Ina Ré

Restaurants · Canggu

Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.

Riviera Berawa

Riviera Berawa

Restaurants · Berawa

Riviera Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar on Jalan Pemelisan Agung in Berawa, the original venue of Riviera Group, which also runs Riviera Trattoria in Pererenan and Riviera Cafe in Cemagi. The kitchen works with fresh pasta and local ingredients, with dishes such as tagliatelle in a Wagyu beef and pork ragù or cacio e pepe risotto with tuna battuta. Expect an extensive wine list, aperitifs at the bar and candlelit tables; on Saturdays the evening turns into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs.

Giselle

Giselle

Restaurants · Canggu

Giselle is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Tanah Barak in Canggu, created by a group of friends with deep roots in hospitality, who call it “a house for friends, strangers, and stories”. The mood is the Riviera brought to Bali, across a dining room and a courtyard. Seafood leads the menu, with crudos, a seafood platter, sea bream sashimi and flambéed fish, alongside homemade pasta and plates for sharing, built on local, responsibly sourced ingredients. On Friday and Saturday nights, Club 55 takes over after dinner.

Desa Kitsuné's own garden parties are on Tuesdays and Fridays; it sometimes holds one-off nights on other days, each with its own terms, and they would show on its calendar.

Elsewhere on a Saturday

  • Akar, Ubud. On Friday and Saturday nights, dinner at K Club's jungle steakhouse turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show.
  • White Rock Beach Club, Uluwatu. By day, on Melasti Beach: foam parties run at weekends.

How to plan a Saturday

  1. One area, one night. Kuta, Uluwatu and Canggu are separate parts of the island. Pick the venue, then dinner nearby.
  2. Start from the sunset. Both Ritual of the Sun and many beach club afternoons are built around it; Bali sunset parties lists the options.
  3. Read the night's page. Each date has its own Guestlist or Table button; a night showing only Table is ticketed only. Official tickets come only through the venue's own channel.
  4. Register yourself. Every guest registers individually; joining is free, entry is complimentary before the cutoff on that night's page and reduced after it. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
  5. Book tables early. Saturday is the night tables go first. The venue sets the minimum spend per night; on Savaya's and Zumana's maps it "Includes Food & Beverage Credit".
  6. Arrange the car home through transport.

The door

Savaya and Zumana are 21+ with a valid photo ID, a passport or driving licence, and smart casual. Savaya is cashless, searches bags, has limited lockers and accepts no luggage or outside food or drink. Re-entry at both is only possible with a table. Details: the Bali club dress code.

Before and after Saturday

Friday has Desa Kitsuné's garden party and Zumana's headliner night (Bali Friday night); Sunday is Zumana Sunday and Savaya's Sunday sessions (Bali Sunday funday). Bali events this weekend shows the published dates.
