Bachelor and bachelorette party in Bali: the group plan
A Bali bachelor or bachelorette weekend is a villa, a boat day, a beach club, a group dinner and a club table, linked by drivers. The order to book them in, and the door rules a group meets.

A bachelor or bachelorette party in Bali, a stag or a hen weekend, is built from the same six pieces for almost every group: a villa as the base, a day on a private boat, an afternoon at a beach club, a long group dinner, a table at a club for the big night, and drivers to tie it together. Book them in that order, check the door rules before anyone packs, and send everything through one conversation with the concierge.
Book in this order
- Dates and headcount. Everything else depends on how many you are, and whether the group is men, women or mixed — the clubs ask.
- The villa. It is the piece that runs out first for a large group, and it decides which part of the island you spend the weekend in.
- The big night. Pick the club night from what is announced, then book the table.
- The boat day. Not the morning after the big night.
- The dinner and the beach club around them.
- The drivers, for every leg.
The base: a villa
A group trip works best when everyone sleeps under one roof. Tell us the dates, the number of bedrooms and the bed layout you need — for a group of adults, a bed layout matters more than a bedroom count. Before you plan anything at the villa itself, ask its own rules on guests and music; they vary from one property to the next. Browse the villas; the concierge asks the questions that matter before you commit.
A day on the water
A private boat is the day a group remembers. FirstBali's catalogue includes a private yacht sunset and party cruise — sunset hunting along the coast, music on board, with crew, a guide, drinks and snacks — and a private yacht full day of island hopping to Nusa Penida, with Manta Point, Crystal Bay and snorkelling. Charters leave from Benoa and are arranged on request. All eight trips are in the Bali boat party guide.
The beach club afternoon
Daybeds and cabanas are the reserved seats, and for a group they are the difference between a base for the afternoon and standing at the bar. Finns in Berawa is adults-only and has a dedicated offer for bachelorette and hen parties, planned with its own team, with set-ups to match the mood of the group. Atlas, on the same stretch of beach, has the space for a big group, with its beanbags on the sand, a vast pool, a stage and a flying fox.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
Atlas Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.
A daybed carries a minimum spend that the venue sets for the day; FirstBali asks for your date and passes on the amount the venue confirms.
The group dinner
Choose a room where a long table and a lively evening go together:
- BELLA, on Jalan Pantai Berawa: wood-fired dishes made for sharing, a DJ booth, and an evening that turns into a party.
- Moi, on the same road: Mediterranean cooking with fire, and themed nights such as Bazaar MOI, a dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.
- Giselle, in Canggu: seafood and pasta to share, and Club 55 after dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.
- Ina Ré, at Desa Kitsuné: paellas to share and private dining rooms for groups.
BELLA
Restaurants · Berawa
BELLA is a contemporary Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, run by The SEN Group. Executive chef Oğuz Karadoğan, formerly of Lokanta 1741 in Istanbul, cooks a wood-fired menu made for sharing: lamb meatballs in rich tomato sauce with Hokkaido bread, a Mediterranean ceviche of seabass, kefir and gremolata, a whole roasted cauliflower with tahini. The room is built around an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth, and the evening turns into a party, with weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party.
Moi
Restaurants · Berawa
MOI Canggu is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address MOI Bodrum. The kitchen works with fire and Mediterranean flavours, for dinners meant to be lingered over, and the cocktails draw on sun-warmed botanicals. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party. Themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.
Giselle
Restaurants · Canggu
Giselle is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Tanah Barak in Canggu, created by a group of friends with deep roots in hospitality, who call it “a house for friends, strangers, and stories”. The mood is the Riviera brought to Bali, across a dining room and a courtyard. Seafood leads the menu, with crudos, a seafood platter, sea bream sashimi and flambéed fish, alongside homemade pasta and plates for sharing, built on local, responsibly sourced ingredients. On Friday and Saturday nights, Club 55 takes over after dinner.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Say how many you are in the first message. A table for four is a reservation; a table for twelve is a seating plan the restaurant has to arrange.
The big night: a club table
For the main night out, a table is the only reserved space — a booth, a sofa or a daybed that belongs to the group all night, with a minimum spend set by the venue for that night. At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only permitted with a table reservation. Savaya on the cliff in Uluwatu, Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta and Desa Kitsuné in Canggu all take tables; so do Les Toilettes and MUIN in Seminyak.
Les Toilettes
Clubs · Seminyak
Les Toilettes is the K-Club Group's nightclub on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, at the same address as Sardine, the group's seafood restaurant, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place. Now in its 2.0 version, the club draws on club concepts from around the world. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.
MUIN
Clubs · Seminyak
MU:IN Bali brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The club is designed around sound and sightlines: a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig with LED production, and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Resident DJs and international guests rotate through weekly signature nights, while VIP sofas with bottle service look straight onto the main floor. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over.

The door rules a group meets
These are the venues' own published rules. Check them before anyone packs.
- 21+, with ID. Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are 21+, and so are Les Toilettes and MUIN. Savaya and Zumana ask for a valid photo ID — a passport or a driver's licence. One person under 21 means one person outside. See the Bali clubs age limit.
- Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred at Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, in the venues' own words. A group of men only or women only can still register for a guestlist, but nothing guarantees entry; if a reserved space matters, ask about a table.
- Smart casual. Savaya and Zumana refuse work jeans or denim, beer-branded singlets, cut-off clothing and athletic sportswear; Zumana and Desa Kitsuné also refuse flip-flops; Les Toilettes refuses flip-flops, sandals and sportswear. Matching group singlets with a beer logo are exactly what the door turns away. Details in the Bali club dress code.
- Leave the props at the villa. Toys, props and inflatables are on the list of items not allowed in at Savaya and Zumana, and bags are inspected at the door.
- Arrive steady. All three Savaya Group venues refuse intoxicated guests. A long boat day followed by a club night is a plan; arriving at the door after it is a test.
Drivers for every leg
A group needs a vehicle that takes everyone at once and a driver who waits. FirstBali's fleet includes cars with a driver and vans with a driver for a whole group, booked by the day or the evening. See the fleet.
How FirstBali arranges it
Send the concierge the dates, how many you are, the mix of the group, where you want to stay and the moments you care about. We ask each venue and each supplier for availability and the real amounts; you decide, piece by piece. Every booking is yours once the venue confirms it.

Questions we get asked
+Is Bali good for a bachelor or bachelorette party?
It suits a group well: villas that take everyone under one roof, private boats, beach clubs with daybeds and cabanas, restaurants that turn into a party, and clubs with tables. FirstBali books each piece through the concierge.
+Can a group of men get into Savaya?
A men-only group can register, but Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné state that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, and a guestlist registration never guarantees entry. If a reserved space matters, ask about a table.
+Does Finns Beach Club do hen parties?
Yes. Finns in Berawa has a dedicated offer for bachelorette and hen parties, planned with its own team. It is an adults-only venue; FirstBali asks Finns for your date and passes on what it confirms.
+What is the age limit for clubs in Bali?
Savaya, Zumana, Desa Kitsuné, Les Toilettes and MUIN are all 21+. Savaya and Zumana ask for a valid photo ID such as a passport or a driver's licence, so everyone in the group should bring one.
+Can we bring inflatables or party props to a Bali club?
Not at Savaya or Zumana: toys, props and inflatables are on their list of items not allowed in, and bags are inspected at the door. Keep them for the villa.
+What should a group wear to a Bali club?
Smart casual. Savaya and Zumana refuse denim, beer-branded singlets, cut-offs and athletic sportswear; Zumana and Desa Kitsuné also refuse flip-flops. Matching singlets with a beer logo will not get through the door.
