Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are all strictly 21+. Savaya and Zumana check a valid photo ID — a passport or a driver's licence — and Desa Kitsuné may ask for a valid government ID. Under 21 means no entry, whether you come on the guestlist, with a ticket or with a table, and children are not admitted to their nights.
This page covers those three venues' own door policies, as they publish them. It does not cover other clubs, and it is not a statement of Indonesian law.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
Venue by venue
Savaya
- Age: 21+, strictly.
- ID: a valid photo ID — passport or driver's licence.
- Children: none; the venue is 21+.
- At the door: intoxicated guests are refused, and bags are inspected.
Zumana
- Age: 21+; adults only.
- ID: a valid photo ID — passport or driver's licence.
- At the door: intoxicated guests are refused; bags are inspected, with metal detectors and body checks.
Desa Kitsuné
- Age: 21+ for its parties in the Garden, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- ID: a valid government ID may be required.
- At the door: intoxicated guests are refused, and management may refuse entry at its discretion, even when a guestlist registration has been approved.
Can an 18-, 19- or 20-year-old get in?
No. The limit at all three is 21, and Savaya states it as "strictly". There is no guestlist, ticket or table that lowers it: the age check is a door rule and applies to everyone who walks in. If you turn 21 during your trip, go on or after the birthday, with an ID that shows it.
Which ID to bring
- A passport works at all three and is the one document that leaves no doubt.
- A driver's licence is named by Savaya and Zumana as accepted photo ID.
- Bring the document itself. The venues ask for valid photo ID; nothing in their policies says a photo of it on your phone counts. If you would rather not carry your passport around the island, decide that before the drive, not at the door.
- Make sure it is valid. An expired document is not a valid ID.
If your only ID is something else — a national identity card, for example — it is not named in Savaya's or Zumana's policy. Bring a passport to be safe.
Match the name on the guestlist
The guestlist form asks for your first name and surname, and the venues do not add anyone who enters false information. Register under the name on the ID you will show. A nickname on the list and a passport at the door make for a longer conversation than it needs to be. The full form is explained in how to register for a Bali guestlist.
Groups with someone under 21
If one person in your group is under 21, they will not get in, and the rest of the group finds out at the door. Settle it before you leave: either the group picks a night that suits everyone, or the under-21 plans something else. The same applies to families: children are not admitted to these nights.
Sobriety counts as much as age
All three refuse intoxicated guests. An ID gets you through the age check; it does not get you past a door that thinks you have had enough. Arriving early and steady is part of the plan, especially on a guestlist night, where the complimentary entry only applies before the cutoff on the night's page — see the guestlist cutoff explained.
The rest of the door
Age is one check out of several. Dress code is smart casual at all three, with no beer-branded singlets, cut-offs or sportswear (Zumana and Desa Kitsuné also refuse flip-flops); details are in the Savaya dress code. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. And nothing at the door is guaranteed — management can refuse entry, close an event or cap capacity at any time.

Questions we get asked
+Is Savaya 21+?
Yes. Savaya Bali is strictly 21+ and checks a valid photo ID — a passport or a driver's licence — at the door.
+Can an 18-year-old go to Savaya?
No. Savaya's minimum age is 21, applied strictly, and no guestlist, ticket or table changes that.
+What ID do I need for Savaya and Zumana?
A valid photo ID: a passport or a driver's licence. Bring the document itself, not a photo of it, and make sure it has not expired.
+What is the age limit at Desa Kitsuné?
Desa Kitsuné's parties are 21+, and a valid government ID may be required at the door.
+Is Zumana beach club family friendly?
No. Zumana is adults only, 21+, with a valid photo ID — a passport or a driver's licence.
+Does the name on the guestlist have to match my ID?
Register under the name on the ID you will show. The venues do not add anyone who enters false information on the guestlist form.
