Club hopping in Bali: what works and what doesn't
Bali's big clubs are one-venue nights: Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné sit in three areas, and re-entry at Savaya and Zumana needs a table. The hops that work: before the club, or on one street.

Club hopping in Bali works differently from a city with a nightlife street. The three big clubs, Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, are in three different areas (the Uluwatu clifftop, Sunset Bay in Kuta, Canggu), and at Savaya and Zumana re-entry is only possible with a table. So the honest plan is one big club per night, with the hopping done before you arrive: a sunset bar, a dinner, a drink. In Seminyak, where Les Toilettes and MU:IN both stand on Jalan Petitenget, a two-club night is easier to build.

Why the big clubs are one-venue nights
Three reasons, all from the venues' own terms:
- Re-entry. At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only possible with a table. Without one, leaving means leaving for the night.
- Entry terms are per night and per guest. Each guest registers individually for each event on the night's page; entry is complimentary before that night's cutoff and reduced after. Arriving at a second club late usually means arriving after its cutoff. Registration does not guarantee entry in any case.
- Three areas. Savaya is on the Uluwatu and Pecatu clifftop, Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta, Desa Kitsuné in Canggu. Each is a trip of its own from wherever you stay.
That is why the week of parties gives each club its own night. A table changes the first point, not the other two: it is the only reserved space, set by the venue for that night, and it is yours once the venue confirms it.
Hop before, not during
The night can still move. The trick is to do the moving before the club:
- Uluwatu: a sunset at Rock Bar, AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, or at El Kabron, on the cliffs of Pecatu with its sunset parties, then Savaya for the night. On Monday, Savaya's Last Light is itself a sunset set from The Cube, so the sunset and the club are one venue.
- Canggu and Berawa: a cocktail at The Shady Pig, a speakeasy behind an unmarked door, or dinner in Berawa, then Desa Kitsuné's garden on a Tuesday or Friday.
- Kuta: Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay, so the sunset and the party already happen in the same place; arrive for both.
Rock Bar
Bars · Jimbaran
Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, stretching some 270 metres along the rocks above the ocean, with 880 seats spread over 22 areas. Guests reach it by inclinator, watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on. The bar pours cocktails inspired by the colours of the sea alongside Mediterranean tapas built on Jimbaran Bay seafood. Non-resident visitors can reserve; the Round Deck is kept for villa guests and the Top Bar for hotel guests. Payment by card or QR only.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
The Shady Pig
Bars · Berawa
The Shady Pig is a speakeasy on Jalan Pantai Berawa and the original bar of The Shady Family, the group behind The Shady Fox, The Shady Flamingo and The Shady Bunny. The theme is 1920s Birmingham bootleggers: the bar hides behind an unmarked door, and you need the password to get in. Cocktails lean experimental, using distillation, barrel ageing and fermentation, from the Shelby to a barrel-aged Negroni. Small plates, pinchos and sandwiches come with the drinks, and DJs take over later in the night.
One village, several stops: Desa Kitsuné
Desa Kitsuné is a Savaya Group "village" in Canggu: Ina Ré, Café Kitsuné and the Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds with the garden where the parties run on Tuesday and Friday, "rain or shine". Dinner at Ina Ré, then the garden, is a change of scene without a change of venue. Desa Kitsuné, dinner before has the details.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
The street where two clubs work: Seminyak
If two clubs in one night is the goal, Seminyak is where to try it. Les Toilettes, the K-Club Group's nightclub, is on Jalan Petitenget at the same address as Sardine, the group's seafood restaurant. MU:IN, a club brand born in Seoul, is on the same street, with VIP sofas and bottle service looking onto the main floor. Both are 21+, Les Toilettes at the door's discretion with a smart dress code: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear. Each sets its own entry terms; Seminyak nightlife and MU:IN or Les Toilettes compare them.
Les Toilettes
Clubs · Seminyak
Les Toilettes is the K-Club Group's nightclub on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, at the same address as Sardine, the group's seafood restaurant, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place. Now in its 2.0 version, the club draws on club concepts from around the world. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.
Sardine
Restaurants · Seminyak
Sardine by K-Club is a seafood restaurant on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, set in an open-air bamboo building that looks over a stretch of rice paddies, with a terrace for lunch or dinner. The kitchen cooks the daily catch (yellowfin tuna, scallops, snapper) in a modern Mediterranean style, with vegetables from its own farms and a vegetarian set menu. Evenings can run late: Les Toilettes, the hidden club on site, hosts DJs, and once a month The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts.
MUIN
Clubs · Seminyak
MU:IN Bali brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The club is designed around sound and sightlines: a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig with LED production, and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Resident DJs and international guests rotate through weekly signature nights, while VIP sofas with bottle service look straight onto the main floor. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over.
If you insist on two big clubs
Some guests want a sunset at one club and the night at another. If that is the plan:
- Take a table at the first, if you may want to come back; at Savaya and Zumana, it is the only way to re-enter.
- Check both nights' pages on the events calendar: one may be ticketed only, the other may have a list with a cutoff you will miss.
- Book a driver who waits through transport, so the move does not depend on finding a ride.
- Ask the concierge first. FirstBali checks what can be arranged with each venue, and nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it.
Before you go
- Passport or driver's licence for every stop: the clubs are 21+.
- One dress code that passes everywhere: smart casual, proper shoes. See the club dress code.
- A small bag: Savaya searches bags, has limited lockers and is cashless.
Write to the concierge with the night you have in mind: an assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
