Beach club or nightclub in Bali: which suits your night
Beach club or nightclub in Bali? A beach club is the sun, the pool and the sunset; a nightclub is the dark room and the sound. And some Bali clubs, like Zumana and Savaya, are both.

Choose a beach club if you want the afternoon, the pool and the sunset with music; choose a nightclub if you want a dark room, a big sound system and a crowd that arrives late. In Bali the line is blurred: Zumana and Savaya run from daylight into the night, so for many visitors the answer is one of those two rather than a choice between them.
What a beach club is in Bali
A beach club is a daytime venue on the sand or on a cliff: daybeds, pools, a restaurant, DJs through the afternoon and the sunset as the high point. You come in swimwear and a cover-up, you eat there, and the group stays in one spot for hours. In Berawa, FINNS Beach Club runs an all-day party every day across several zones, and Atlas Beach Club puts beanbags on the sand beside a vast pool. Further south, White Rock Beach Club on Melasti Beach has lagoon and rock pools and resident DJs every day.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
Atlas Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.
White Rock Beach Club
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.

What a nightclub is in Bali
A nightclub is built around sound and the dance floor, and the night starts after dinner. In Seminyak, MU:IN brings a nightlife brand from Seoul to Jalan Petitenget, with a towering sound system, lasers and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Les Toilettes, the K-Club Group's club at the same address as Sardine, has a smart dress code: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear. Both are 21+.

MU:IN Bali brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The club is designed around sound and sightlines: a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig with LED production, and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Resident DJs and international guests rotate through weekly signature nights, while VIP sofas with bottle service look straight onto the main floor. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over.

Les Toilettes is the K-Club Group's nightclub on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, at the same address as Sardine, the group's seafood restaurant, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place. Now in its 2.0 version, the club draws on club concepts from around the world. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.

How to choose
- Your hours. If you love the afternoon and sunset, a beach club. If you come alive after dinner, a nightclub. If you want both without moving, Zumana or Savaya.
- Your group. Beach clubs suit groups who want to sit together on a daybed. Nightclubs suit those who want to dance. At the three partner clubs, mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred at the door.
- What you wear. Beach clubs allow swimwear by the pool; nightclubs ask for smart. Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are smart casual. See the Bali club dress code.
- What you want reserved. At both, a daybed or a table is the only reserved space; without one you use the free areas or the floor.
- Age. The partner clubs and the Seminyak nightclubs above are 21+ with a valid photo ID. Some beach clubs welcome families: see family-friendly beach clubs.
Doing both in one trip
The simple plan for a week: one beach club afternoon, one Savaya or Zumana day into night, one late night in Seminyak or at Desa Kitsuné. Keep each day to one area; traffic decides more than you think. A week of parties in Bali sets it out night by night.
How FirstBali helps
Tell the concierge your dates, your group and the kind of night you want. We ask the venue for a daybed or a table; it is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms. Guestlists at the partner clubs are the venues' own: you register on the night's page from /events.
