The family-friendly beach clubs in Bali are White Rock in Uluwatu, which has a kids' pool and a kids' menu; Le Bleu in Nusa Dua, with a children's corner at the weekend; and Luna in Tabanan, where children are welcome by day before the cave turns adults-only. El Kabron admits children in its restaurant only. Finns is adults-only, and Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné's parties are 21+. Every rule below is the venue's own, as it publishes it.
White Rock — the one built for families
White Rock Beach Club, on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, answers the question directly: it calls itself a family-friendly destination, with a dedicated kids' pool and a kids' menu. Its terms set the details:
- The kids' pool is for young children, aged two to five.
- The main pool is adults-only; children may not enter that area.
- Supervision is the parents' job. Children must be with an adult at all times, and no child may be in a pool area without one.
- No alcohol under twenty-one, and photo ID can be asked at any time.
There are daybeds, sofas and cabanas around a lagoon pool, a large covered restaurant and a spa. Its terms even welcome children at the New Year's Eve event, within an entry limit the venue sets. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. More in our White Rock guide.
Le Bleu — a quiet beach in Nusa Dua
Le Bleu by K Club, on Nusa Dua Beach, is a beachfront restaurant and beach club rather than a party venue, which makes it easy with children. On Saturdays and Sundays, children play at Le Petit Corner while the adults eat, and the staff can tell you about optional paid activities for children and nanny options. There is a kids' menu too. See the Le Bleu guide.
Luna — children by day, adults later
Luna Beach Club, on the Tabanan cliffs inside Nuanu Creative City, splits its day by age. Under its booking terms, children are welcome at the main pool, the beach club, the restaurant and the beer garden until the evening. The Utopia Cave Club becomes adults-only from the early afternoon, and from that moment the water slide is closed to anyone under eighteen. Come in the morning with children and ask the concierge for the exact cut-over on your date.
El Kabron — the restaurant only
El Kabron, on the Uluwatu cliffs, describes itself as an adult-oriented venue. Children are allowed only in the restaurant area, with a responsible adult at all times. They may not enter the Hedonism Lounge — the pool area with the dance floor — or the Sunset Theater, the pool is for guests over eighteen, and the minimum spend applies to children over five too. A family lunch facing the ocean works; a family day by the pool does not.
Not for children
- Finns Beach Club, Berawa: adults-only.
- Savaya, Uluwatu: strictly 21+.
- Zumana, Kuta: 21+.
- Desa Kitsuné, Canggu: its Tuesday and Friday parties in the Garden are 21+.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
For a day without children, read the adults-only beach clubs in Bali. Atlas Beach Club publishes no child policy on its beach club pages; ask the concierge before taking children there.
Lunch and dinner with children
Beyond the beach clubs, a few restaurants state their family rules:
- Koral, the aquarium restaurant at The Apurva Kempinski in Nusa Dua, welcomes children aged twelve and under at lunch, seated at all times. Dinner is adults-only.
- Akar, near Ubud, welcomes children, with a kids' menu, high chairs, crayons and colouring books — but no play area.
- Sardine, in Seminyak, calls itself a family restaurant.
The Apurva Kempinski
Restaurants · Nusa Dua
The Apurva Kempinski Bali is a five-star resort on the cliffs of Nusa Dua, facing the Indian Ocean, and its dining spreads across several venues. Koral, which the hotel presents as Bali's first aquarium restaurant, serves set and tasting menus beside the tanks, adults only at dinner. Izakaya by OKU is a sister to OKU in Jakarta; Reef Beach Club sits on the sand beside a 42-metre infinity pool; Bai Yun serves hot pot and dim sum; L'Atelier by Cyril Kongo is a lounge with ocean views and Mediterranean tapas.
Akar
Restaurants · Ubud
Akar, meaning “root”, is the steakhouse of K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, north of Ubud, set in the greenery of the jungle. Spread over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen, it grills Australian and Japanese cuts, Wagyu included, over charcoal, alongside seafood, charcoal-roasted bone marrow and a curated wine list. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Akar has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.
Sardine
Restaurants · Seminyak
Sardine by K-Club is a seafood restaurant on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, set in an open-air bamboo building that looks over a stretch of rice paddies, with a terrace for lunch or dinner. The kitchen cooks the daily catch (yellowfin tuna, scallops, snapper) in a modern Mediterranean style, with vegetables from its own farms and a vegetarian set menu. Evenings can run late: Les Toilettes, the hidden club on site, hosts DJs, and once a month The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts.
Planning a day out with children
- Go early. At Luna, the family hours are the first part of the day, and a morning arrival leaves time to settle before lunch.
- Say the children's ages when you book. Pools, areas and minimum spends are set by age at several venues.
- Pick the seat for shade. A cabana or a covered table beats a daybed in full sun with small children.
- Plan the ride. A driver who waits, booked with the seat, makes leaving when the children are tired simple.
Tell the concierge the date, the number of adults and children and their ages. We ask the venue on your behalf; the seat is yours once the venue confirms it, and any minimum spend comes from the venue before you decide.
