Where to party in Bali: the areas and the nights

Party in Uluwatu for Savaya on the cliff, Kuta for Zumana at Sunset Bay, Canggu for Desa Kitsuné's garden nights, Seminyak for late clubs. Pick the area, then the kind of night you want.

Updated October 15, 2026 · 4 min read

The short answer: party in Uluwatu for Savaya, the clifftop club above the Indian Ocean; in Kuta for Zumana, the beach club at Sunset Bay; in Canggu for Desa Kitsuné's garden parties on Tuesdays and Fridays; and in Seminyak for late clubs in town. Bali's nightlife is spread across these areas, and they do not feel alike, so choose the area first and the venue follows.

The calendar above shows the coming nights at the three venues FirstBali puts first. Each night has a Guestlist button when the venue runs a list for it, and a Table button for the venue's own table map.

By area

Uluwatu and Pecatu: Savaya

Savaya sits in Pecatu, on the Bukit peninsula, 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. It is a club, not a beach club, and it is open daily. Mondays are Last Light, the sunset session; the weekdays have their own nights; weekends mostly bring international headliners. It is strictly 21+, with a valid photo ID.

The rest of the Bukit has its cliff and beach clubs too, El Kabron on the Pecatu cliffs and White Rock on Melasti Beach among them. For the whole area, read Uluwatu nightlife.

Kuta: Zumana

Zumana is a Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay, designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces and an open-air dance floor, watched over by ZENÍA, a sculpture by Daniel Popper. It is open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliner nights on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, and Thursdays that change from week to week. Canggu: Desa Kitsuné

Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu, a garden shared with Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique. Every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Around it, Berawa's beach clubs carry sunset into the evening. See Canggu nightlife.

Seminyak: the clubs in town

Seminyak is where you go for a club in the plain sense: a room, a sound system, a dancefloor. Les Toilettes, the K-Club Group's club, shares its address with Sardine, so dinner and the late night can happen in one place. MU:IN brings a Seoul nightlife brand to Jalan Petitenget, built around sound, lasers and a stage in the middle of the crowd. Both are 21+. See Seminyak nightlife.

By kind of night

A headliner night

International names play Savaya mostly at weekends and Zumana on Wednesdays and Fridays. Some of these nights carry a guestlist and some are ticketed only; the terms change night by night, and the night's page shows them.

A sunset that becomes the party

Savaya's Last Light on Mondays, Zumana's Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, and the beach clubs of the west coast, from Berawa to Tabanan, where the DJ plays through the sunset. The best sunset spots covers where to watch it with a drink.

A garden party

Desa Kitsuné on a Tuesday or a Friday: a party in a garden rather than a club, with a restaurant on the same grounds for dinner first.

A late club

Seminyak, at Les Toilettes or MU:IN, for a night that starts after dinner.

Dinner that turns into a party

Some restaurants change mood after dark: MOI in Berawa, where the evening turns into a party after sunset, Miss Fish, where DJs take over later in the evening, and Akar near Ubud, festive on Friday and Saturday nights.

Moi

Moi

Restaurants · Berawa

MOI Canggu is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address MOI Bodrum. The kitchen works with fire and Mediterranean flavours, for dinners meant to be lingered over, and the cocktails draw on sun-warmed botanicals. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party. Themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.

Miss Fish

Miss Fish

Restaurants · Berawa

Miss Fish is a Japanese restaurant and late-night venue on Jalan Raya Semat in Berawa, Canggu, open since 2022. Executive Chef Carlos Barvo leads a seasonal omakase that pairs Japanese technique with European and Latin American influences. Guests choose between the Omakase Bar, a chef-guided onyx counter, the open-air Patio and the Lounge for cocktails and shared plates, and the bar holds more than 40 sakes and Japanese whiskies. Later in the evening, DJs take over. Dress code: smart casual.

Akar

Akar

Restaurants · Ubud

Akar, meaning “root”, is the steakhouse of K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, north of Ubud, set in the greenery of the jungle. Spread over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen, it grills Australian and Japanese cuts, Wagyu included, over charcoal, alongside seafood, charcoal-roasted bone marrow and a curated wine list. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Akar has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.

Guestlist or table, wherever you go

At Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, the guestlist is the venue's own list: you register on the night's page, joining is free, and entry is complimentary before that night's cutoff and reduced after. Some nights have no list at all. A table is the only reserved space, with a minimum spend the venue sets for each night; FirstBali books it with the venue, and it is yours once the venue confirms it. For everything else, how table booking works explains the words.

Two rules hold everywhere above: the clubs are 21+, and the door decides. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred at the three Savaya Group venues.

Getting between areas

The areas are spread out, and the night ends where it ends. Book the ride home before the first drink: FirstBali arranges a car with a driver for the evening.

The coming nights

Pick a night, join its guestlist yourself from its page, or tell the concierge the date and your group for a table. The assistant replies at any hour; anything that needs the team overnight is picked up in the morning.
