Berawa is the stretch of the Canggu area between Canggu and Seminyak where Bali's big beach clubs meet the sea: Finns and Atlas on the sand, a row of restaurants that turn into parties after dinner, and Desa Kitsuné's garden nights next door. This guide covers how a day there runs, from the beach to the last drink.
Berawa at a glance
FirstBali's villas page describes Berawa as the area between Canggu and Seminyak for beach clubs, gyms and long lunches. That is a fair summary of a day there. Mornings are for training or the beach, afternoons for a daybed, evenings for a long dinner that slides into a DJ set. Jalan Pantai Berawa, the road down to the beach, carries several of the addresses below.
The area suits:
- Groups and celebrations, with beach clubs and party dinners close together.
- Couples who like an evening that builds rather than a quiet one.
- First-timers in the Canggu area, who want the best-known names in one place.
For calmer nights, Pererenan is the quieter neighbour; our where to stay guide compares the areas.
Daytime: the beach clubs
Berawa Beach is home to two of the island's best-known beach clubs:
- Finns Beach Club stretches along the beachfront under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and Garden Party to the VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants. Resident DJs and live singers keep it going all day.
- Atlas Beach Club bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its beanbags sit on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and pool bar where DJs play through the day; daybeds and sofas are spread across zones from The Deck restaurant to the Party Side in front of the stage, with daily shows, a beachfront padel court and a flying fox.

Atlas Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.
Our Atlas vs Finns comparison helps you choose, and the Canggu beach clubs guide covers the wider coast. A daybed or cabana is a reservation like a table: FirstBali books it with the venue, and it is yours once the venue confirms it.
Evening: dinners that turn into the party
Berawa's restaurants are known for evenings that change mood as the night goes on:
- BELLA, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern from a wood fire, around an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth.
- MOI, Mediterranean inspired by the Aegean and Bodrum, where the evening turns into a party after sunset.
- Jade by Todd English, Mediterranean from a wood-fire grill, with a daily DJ.
- Riviera Bistro, fresh pasta and an extensive wine list by candlelight; Saturdays become PRÏVE.
- Miss Fish and MîA for Japanese and modern Asian, and Aged & Butchered inside The Komu hotel for dry-aged steak.
BELLA
Restaurants · Berawa
BELLA is a contemporary Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, run by The SEN Group. Executive chef Oğuz Karadoğan, formerly of Lokanta 1741 in Istanbul, cooks a wood-fired menu made for sharing: lamb meatballs in rich tomato sauce with Hokkaido bread, a Mediterranean ceviche of seabass, kefir and gremolata, a whole roasted cauliflower with tahini. The room is built around an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth, and the evening turns into a party, with weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party.
Moi
Restaurants · Berawa
MOI Canggu is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address MOI Bodrum. The kitchen works with fire and Mediterranean flavours, for dinners meant to be lingered over, and the cocktails draw on sun-warmed botanicals. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party. Themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.
Jade by Todd English
Restaurants · Berawa
Jade by Todd English is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar in Berawa, whose culinary direction draws on American chef Todd English, known for his flagship restaurant Olives. The kitchen works around a wood-fire grill, with a focus on local farms and producers, on a menu designed for sharing among friends. The cocktail bar gives its drinks an Asian touch. Warm lighting and earthy tones set the room, and the mood shifts as the night goes on, with a daily DJ and weekly late-night events.
Miss Fish
Restaurants · Berawa
Miss Fish is a Japanese restaurant and late-night venue on Jalan Raya Semat in Berawa, Canggu, open since 2022. Executive Chef Carlos Barvo leads a seasonal omakase that pairs Japanese technique with European and Latin American influences. Guests choose between the Omakase Bar, a chef-guided onyx counter, the open-air Patio and the Lounge for cocktails and shared plates, and the bar holds more than 40 sakes and Japanese whiskies. Later in the evening, DJs take over. Dress code: smart casual.
Each is covered in detail in the Berawa restaurants guide, with quick picks by kind of evening.
Late: a speakeasy and the garden next door
The Shady Pig, on Jalan Pantai Berawa, is the original bar of The Shady Family: a speakeasy themed on Birmingham bootleggers, hidden behind an unmarked door, where you need the password to get in. Cocktails lean experimental, with distillation, barrel ageing and fermentation, and DJs take over later in the night.
Next door in the heart of Canggu, Desa Kitsuné is the Savaya Group's village with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. It is 21+ with a valid photo ID, smart casual.

Further out: Savaya and Zumana
The Savaya Group's two other nights are a drive away, and a car with a driver is the simple way to go and come back. Savaya, on the Uluwatu clifftop, was named number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs. Zumana, at Sunset Bay in Kuta, runs Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays and Zumana Sunday.
