Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — a café, a restaurant, a Maison Kitsuné boutique and a garden — and every Tuesday and Friday that garden becomes the party, "rain or shine". For a first visit, choose a night from the calendar, register on the venue's own guestlist or book a table, and arrive before the night's cutoff with photo ID, in smart casual, aged 21 or over. If your group includes men, their cutoff comes first.

A village first, a party second
The name is the brief. "Desa, which means 'village' in Indonesian," the venue writes, "immerses visitors within a multifaceted village-like venue; offering chic Parisian café culture, serene outdoor lounging, gourmet dining, designer shopping and lively parties." The site covers 5,000 m², is run by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné, and presents itself as a reflection of Bali's "relax, dine and celebrate" culture.
That shapes a first visit. You are not queueing outside a club; you are walking into a village where Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and the boutique share the grounds with the garden. The daytime side has its own guide: Desa Kitsuné, day and night.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
What a garden party night looks like
The venue's events page sums it up in one line: "The best of international and local artists come together every Tuesday & Friday in our Garden, rain or shine!", followed by "Fashion, Art, Music, Dining and much more…". On its private-events page, Desa Kitsuné lists what the Garden holds: a pool, bars, cabanas, bungalows, daybeds, terrace tables and sofas by the DJ. Which of those are sold as tables on a given night is shown on that night's table map; a general admission ticket, in the venue's own words, is "for standing room only".
The two weekly nights have different briefs — guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays — and the venue also announces special monthly events and occasional one-off nights. Which one suits you is the subject of Desa Kitsuné on Tuesday or Friday.
Who you will be dancing with
Everyone in the garden is 21 or over: that is the venue's rule for its parties, and it is checked at the door. The guestlist form asks each person for their "Island Status" — living in Bali full time, here for a few months, or just visiting — so the list is open to residents and travellers alike, and Friday's brief, "celebrating and supporting local talent", gives the island's own DJs a night of their own. The venue also states that mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, which is worth knowing before a group of friends heads over together.
The door
Four things decide whether a first night starts well.
- Age and ID. The parties are 21+. Asked "Do I need ID to enter the venue?", the venue's FAQ answers yes: a current, valid photo ID such as a passport or a driver's licence.
- Dress. Smart casual, with a longer list of refusals than most venues: beer-branded singlets, torn or cut-off clothing, chains, sportswear, baggy clothing, hard-sole shoes, flip-flops and boots. The FAQ asks guests to "dress to impress" and also rules out swimwear. The detail is in the Desa Kitsuné dress code.
- The cutoff. Registered guests enter free before the night's cutoff, which comes earlier for men than for women; after it a reduced entry fee applies, and later in the night men pay the full fee. The times are on each night's page.
- Discretion. "Management reserves the right to refuse entry at their discretion, even if a guestlist registration has been approved." A registration is not a guaranteed entry.
The form and the three tiers are explained in the Desa Kitsuné guestlist guide.
Guestlist, ticket or table
- Guestlist: free to join, one registration per person and per event, and a digital ticket by email.
- Ticket: on ticketed-only nights, sold only through the venue's own channel. According to the FAQ, a general admission ticket covers admission only, with no food or drink credit, and ticket prices "vary based on talent performing".
- Table: the only reserved space in the garden, with a minimum spend the venue sets for each night. How that works is in Desa Kitsuné table booking.
Planning your first night, step by step
- Pick the night on the events page and check whether it shows a guestlist or only tables.
- Register everyone. Each guest registers individually for that event; keep the digital ticket on your phone.
- Book dinner if you want it. Ina Ré is on the same grounds, so dinner and the party share an address: see dinner and party at Desa Kitsuné.
- Arrange the ride home before you leave, so the end of the night is settled at the start: getting to Desa Kitsuné, and home.
- Arrive before the cutoff — the men's, if your group includes men — with ID, in shoes that pass the door.
Where FirstBali fits
FirstBali gives you the link to the right night's guestlist page, tells you when a date is ticketed only, and books garden tables and dinner at Ina Ré with the venue on your behalf, all through the concierge. A table is yours once Desa Kitsuné confirms it. Our assistant replies at any hour; the team picks up through the Bali day and evening.
