Berawa villa rental: beach clubs and long lunches

Renting a villa in Berawa: beach clubs, gyms and long lunches between Canggu and Seminyak, Desa Kitsuné's garden parties nearby, and how FirstBali finds a villa for your dates.

Updated October 21, 2026 · 4 min read

A villa in Berawa puts the beach clubs on the doorstep: FirstBali's villas page describes it as the stretch between Canggu and Seminyak for beach clubs, gyms and long lunches. Rates are given on request: tell the concierge your dates and group, and the team comes back with what the owner confirms.

Berawa in one line

Berawa sits between Canggu and Seminyak, and the villas page sums it up as beach clubs, gyms and long lunches. It is the most social of the three bases on this coast: Pererenan is the quieter neighbour, Canggu is the surf-and-coffee one, and Berawa is where the day runs from a workout to the beach club to a dinner that turns into a party. The Canggu villa guide covers the wider area.

A Berawa villa suits:

  • Groups of friends who want the beach clubs close and the villa pool for the mornings after. Our group villa guide has the details.
  • People who train: the villas page names gyms among the area's draws.
  • Couples who like a lively evening without a long drive to dinner.
  • Celebrations: a birthday or a hens' or stag weekend, where everything happens close by.

Beach clubs on Berawa Beach

Two of the island's best-known beach clubs are on Berawa's beachfront:

  • Finns Beach Club stretches along the beach under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only, with several party zones, pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas and restaurants, and resident DJs and live singers through the day.
  • Atlas Beach Club, which bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world, has beanbags on the sand facing the sea, a vast pool and pool bar, distinct zones from The Deck restaurant to the Party Side, daily shows, a beachfront padel court and a flying fox.

Our Atlas vs Finns comparison helps you choose a day.

Long lunches and dinners that turn into a party

Berawa's restaurants are built for evenings that run on. A few from the FirstBali catalogue:

  • Riviera Bistro, the Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar of Riviera Group, with fresh pasta and candlelit tables; Saturdays turn into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs.
  • BELLA, contemporary Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking from a wood fire, with weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party.
  • Miss Fish, a Japanese restaurant with a seasonal omakase at an onyx counter, where DJs take over later in the evening.
  • The Shady Pig, a speakeasy themed on Birmingham bootleggers behind an unmarked door: you need the password to get in.

Riviera Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar on Jalan Pemelisan Agung in Berawa, the original venue of Riviera Group, which also runs Riviera Trattoria in Pererenan and Riviera Cafe in Cemagi. The kitchen works with fresh pasta and local ingredients, with dishes such as tagliatelle in a Wagyu beef and pork ragù or cacio e pepe risotto with tuna battuta. Expect an extensive wine list, aperitifs at the bar and candlelit tables; on Saturdays the evening turns into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs.

BELLA

Restaurants · Berawa

BELLA is a contemporary Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, run by The SEN Group. Executive chef Oğuz Karadoğan, formerly of Lokanta 1741 in Istanbul, cooks a wood-fired menu made for sharing: lamb meatballs in rich tomato sauce with Hokkaido bread, a Mediterranean ceviche of seabass, kefir and gremolata, a whole roasted cauliflower with tahini. The room is built around an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth, and the evening turns into a party, with weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party.

Miss Fish is a Japanese restaurant and late-night venue on Jalan Raya Semat in Berawa, Canggu, open since 2022. Executive Chef Carlos Barvo leads a seasonal omakase that pairs Japanese technique with European and Latin American influences. Guests choose between the Omakase Bar, a chef-guided onyx counter, the open-air Patio and the Lounge for cocktails and shared plates, and the bar holds more than 40 sakes and Japanese whiskies. Later in the evening, DJs take over. Dress code: smart casual.

The Shady Pig

Bars · Berawa

The Shady Pig is a speakeasy on Jalan Pantai Berawa and the original bar of The Shady Family, the group behind The Shady Fox, The Shady Flamingo and The Shady Bunny. The theme is 1920s Birmingham bootleggers: the bar hides behind an unmarked door, and you need the password to get in. Cocktails lean experimental, using distillation, barrel ageing and fermentation, from the Shelby to a barrel-aged Negroni. Small plates, pinchos and sandwiches come with the drinks, and DJs take over later in the night.

The partner clubs from a Berawa villa

Desa Kitsuné, in the heart of Canggu, is the Savaya Group's village with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné: Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a boutique share the garden, and every Tuesday and Friday it becomes the party, rain or shine.

Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta and Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop are the group's other two nights; a car with a driver makes either an easy evening from Berawa. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named Savaya number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026.

All three are 21+ with a valid photo ID. Each night has its own terms on its page: some open the venue's guestlist, where each guest registers individually and gets a digital ticket by email; some are ticketed only. Registering does not guarantee entry, and a table, booked through FirstBali with the venue, is yours once the venue confirms it.

What to ask before you choose

Berawa is busy and still building. Before you commit:

  1. What the villa backs onto: a main road, a lane, a rice field or a building site.
  2. Noise from the beach clubs and bars, if you want quiet nights.
  3. Bed layout rather than bedroom count, for a group of adults.
  4. Staff on site, their hours, and what is included.

How FirstBali books a Berawa villa

Send your dates, the number of guests and what the trip is for to the concierge. An assistant answers at any hour and the team follows up through the Bali day and evening. The rate is given on request for your dates, never estimated in advance, and the booking is confirmed only once the owner has confirmed it; any deposit follows the agreed terms and is not a confirmation. A daybed, a dinner or a club table can go in the same message: the concierge checks what can be arranged.
