Desa Kitsuné vs Finns: which Canggu party suits you?

Finns runs an adults-only party every day across beachfront zones in Berawa; Desa Kitsuné turns a Canggu garden into a 21+ party on Tuesdays and Fridays. What each one offers.

Updated November 8, 2026 · 4 min read

Finns and Desa Kitsuné are both Canggu parties, but they keep different calendars. Finns Beach Club is adults-only and stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, with resident DJs and live singers keeping an all-day party going every day across several zones. Desa Kitsuné is a garden village by the Savaya Group and Maison Kitsuné that becomes a 21+ party on Tuesdays and Fridays, rain or shine. Finns is there whenever you are; Desa Kitsuné is a date to put in the diary. FirstBali arranges both through the concierge.

The short answer

  • Any day of the week, from afternoon on: Finns, which parties every day.
  • A Tuesday or Friday night out: Desa Kitsuné, with guest DJs on Tuesdays and Bali-based DJs on Fridays.
  • Pools and swim-up bars: Finns. Desa Kitsuné's pool is decorative and not for swimming.
  • Dinner and the party in one place: both offer it — restaurants across the zones at Finns, Ina Ré in the village at Desa Kitsuné.

The setting

Finns sits under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture, divided into party zones: FINNS Beach Party, FINNS Garden Party, FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. You move between zones rather than staying in one room.

Desa Kitsuné — desa means village — is a garden in the heart of Canggu shared by Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique. On party nights the Garden becomes the dance floor, and the night stays in one place: the garden, the DJ and the crowd around them.

The music and the rhythm

At Finns, resident DJs and live singers keep the party going through the day, every day, and the sunset is part of it rather than the end of it.

At Desa Kitsuné, the party is a night out on two set evenings. Tuesdays bring guest DJs, Fridays Bali-based DJs, and the party goes ahead rain or shine. The Tuesday and Friday guide explains the difference between the two.

Who gets in

Finns is adults-only, which it states itself.

Desa Kitsuné parties are 21+ with a valid photo ID, passport or driver's licence, smart casual. On many nights the venue runs its own guestlist: each guest registers on the night's page, joining is free, and entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on that page, earlier for men. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, in the venue's words. Some nights are ticketed only, and terms change from one night to the next. See how to dress for Desa Kitsuné before you go.

Reserved space

At Finns, you can reserve a daybed or a private cabana within the zone you choose; the club sets its own terms per seat.

At Desa Kitsuné, a table is the only reserved space. The venue sets its minimum spend per night, the flyer's Table button on the events page opens the night's table map, and FirstBali books with the venue. The table is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. Booking a table at Desa Kitsuné has the detail.

Groups and occasions

Finns hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups, according to its own description. For Desa Kitsuné, the concierge asks the venue what it can host for your group and your date; private events at Desa Kitsuné covers what to send.

Can you do both?

Yes, on a Tuesday or a Friday. An afternoon at Finns, a change of clothes into smart casual, then the garden party at Desa Kitsuné. Keep your ID with you, and let a driver handle the evening roads.

Which one fits your plan

  • Finns offers a beachfront day that turns into an evening, every day of the week, with pools and swim-up bars, adults only.
  • Desa Kitsuné offers a garden party night twice a week, with a restaurant on the same grounds and a venue-run guestlist on many nights.

Tell the concierge the date, how many you are and what you have in mind. The team checks what can be arranged and comes back with the venue's terms; nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
