Savaya Last Light: Monday at The Cube, explained

Last Light is Savaya's weekly Monday event, centred on The Cube and the magic hour over the Indian Ocean. When a Monday has a guestlist, entry is complimentary before its cutoff.

Last Light is Savaya's weekly Monday event, built around The Cube, the landmark that frames the horizon at the clifftop club in Uluwatu. The venue describes it as "the only place on the Bukit Peninsula where the magic hour isn't a backdrop. It's the main event." When a Monday has a guestlist, it works as on other nights: free to join, complimentary entry before the cutoff shown on that Monday's page, and a reduced entry fee after it.

What Last Light is

In Savaya's own words:

"Savaya's weekly Monday event… the only place on the Bukit Peninsula where the magic hour isn't a backdrop. It's the main event."

Savaya sits on the Bukit peninsula, "100 metres above the Indian Ocean", between jungle and limestone cliffs. It is not a beach club and there is no beach; it is a clifftop venue with pools. Last Light turns that position into the programme: the night is centred on The Cube and on the light over the ocean, rather than treating the view as decoration behind a DJ booth.

The club's standing is not in doubt either: Savaya has been named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) in the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs, and fifth in the world in 2026.

Why Monday

Last Light happens every Monday. That regularity is its practical advantage: you can plan a Savaya night around it before you land, without waiting to see who is booked for the weekend. Weekends at Savaya are mostly international headliners, and some of those nights are ticketed only. Monday is the club's own recurring night, with the same name and the same idea every week.

The Cube

The Cube is Savaya's visual landmark, the structure that frames the horizon. Last Light is centred on it: on a Monday, the horizon it frames is the point of the evening, not the background.

How the guestlist works on Last Light

When a Last Light date has a guestlist, the rules are Savaya's usual ones:

  • Free to join. Registration costs nothing.
  • Complimentary entry before the cutoff shown on that Monday's page; a reduced entry fee after it. The cutoff is set per event, so read the page for your date rather than relying on a previous Monday.
  • One registration per Monday. "Guests are required to register individually for each event they wish to attend." Last week's registration does not carry over.
  • A digital ticket by email once you have registered on the night's page.
  • Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, in the venue's words.
  • No guarantee. Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry; management can refuse entry, close an event or cap capacity at any time.
  • Weather. An event can be cancelled for inclement weather, and guestlist registrations are not transferable.

Terms change from date to date, so we never promise that a given Monday has a list. The calendar above shows what each night offers. The full registration form is walked through in the Savaya guestlist guide.

Table or guestlist on a Monday

The guestlist gives you standing entry. A table gives you a reserved space for the evening, with a minimum spend that Savaya sets for that specific night; we do not quote it. A table also changes one rule: re-entry is only permitted when a table reservation has been purchased, so if you want to step out and come back, speak to a Guest Relation Officer before leaving.

As a rule of thumb:

  • A couple or a small group happy to stand and able to arrive before the cutoff: the guestlist, if that Monday has one.
  • A group that wants a fixed base for the whole evening, or a celebration: a table, booked through FirstBali with the venue, and yours once Savaya has confirmed it.

The full comparison, including tickets, is in ticket, guestlist or table at Savaya.

The rest of Savaya's week

Savaya is, officially, "open daily". Around Last Light, the calendar follows a pattern:

  • Monday: Last Light.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: the weekday nights, listed as Savaya Tuesday, Savaya Wednesday and Savaya Thursday.
  • One Friday a month: Southern Tribe, "where the week ends and the weekend begins".
  • Weekends: mostly international headliners, some of them ticketed only.
  • Once a month: the Full Moon night, which begins as a beach gathering at Nyang Nyang beach. Read its own page for how the night runs.

Each of these nights has its own page and its own terms on the calendar above and on the events page. For the island-wide picture, see the Bali party calendar.

Before you go

  • Door rules: strictly 21+, with a valid photo ID (passport or driver's licence); smart casual, no denim, no sportswear. Details in the Savaya dress code.
  • Getting there: Savaya is in Pecatu, Uluwatu, at the southern end of the island. Plan the ride there and back with getting around Bali or arrange a driver through transport.
  • Payment: Savaya is a cashless venue.

FirstBali sends you the link to the Last Light guestlist page for the Monday you choose, and books tables with Savaya on your behalf. Ask the concierge, on the site or on WhatsApp.
