Updated October 14, 2026 · 4 min read

For a beach club day without children in Bali, the venues that say so themselves are Finns Beach Club in Berawa, which is adults-only, Zumana in Kuta and Savaya in Uluwatu, both 21+, and El Kabron in Uluwatu, whose pool and Sunset Theater are adults-only. Luna Beach Club, west of Canggu, welcomes families by day, but its Utopia Cave Club becomes adults-only from the early afternoon. Wherever there is an age rule, carry photo ID.
This page lists only the rules each venue publishes on its own pages. It is not a statement of Indonesian law, and rules change: the concierge checks the current one when you book.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Venue by venue
Finns Beach Club, Berawa — adults-only
Finns puts it plainly on its home page: adults only. Its own beach club guide adds that only visitors aged over 16 are allowed into the venue, so at Finns "adults-only" means no children, not 21+. The whole site works that way: the beach party zone, the pools and swim-up bars, the cabanas and the restaurants. If someone in your group is under eighteen, tell the concierge before you plan the day around them.
Zumana, Kuta — 21+
Zumana is the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta: beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Entry is 21+, the dress code is smart casual, and valid photo ID is checked at the door.
Savaya, Uluwatu — strictly 21+
Savaya is a club rather than a beach club, but it is the answer for many people asking this question: pools on a clifftop above the Indian Ocean, and a door that is strictly 21+, smart casual, with valid photo ID.
El Kabron, Uluwatu — an adult-oriented venue
El Kabron calls itself "an adult-oriented venue", and its children policy is precise:
- The Hedonism Lounge — the pool area, dance floor included — is adults-only.
- The Sunset Theater at the cliff edge is adults-only.
- The pool is for guests over 18; children may not use it at any time.
- Children are allowed only in the restaurant area, accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, with no exceptions.
In practice: a daybed by the pool or a sunset dinner at the Sunset Theater is a child-free day. See our El Kabron guide.
Luna Beach Club, Tabanan — the cave turns adults-only
Luna is a mixed venue, and its booking terms say exactly how. Children are welcome at the main pool, the beach club, the restaurant and the beer garden until the evening. The Utopia Cave Club becomes adults-only from the early afternoon, and the water slide into it closes to under-eighteens at the same moment. For an adults-only day here, book in the cave and arrive after the switch. Details in our Luna guide.
Desa Kitsuné, Canggu — 21+ parties
Not a beach club, but a garden: on Tuesdays and Fridays the Garden at Desa Kitsuné becomes the party, 21+ and smart casual.
The ones built for families
If you are avoiding children, know which venues welcome them. White Rock on Melasti Beach has a kids' pool and a kids' menu; Le Bleu in Nusa Dua runs Le Petit Corner for children at weekends; and The Apurva Kempinski describes its Reef Beach Club as family-friendly. None of that makes them bad days out — just not adults-only ones. The other side of this page is family-friendly beach clubs in Bali.
After the beach: adults-only evenings
The evening has its own age rules. In Seminyak, Les Toilettes admits guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and MUIN is 21+. In Nusa Dua, Koral, the aquarium restaurant at The Apurva Kempinski, caters only to adults at dinner.
Les Toilettes
Clubs · Seminyak
Les Toilettes is the K-Club Group's nightclub on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, at the same address as Sardine, the group's seafood restaurant, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place. Now in its 2.0 version, the club draws on club concepts from around the world. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.
MUIN
Clubs · Seminyak
MU:IN Bali brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The club is designed around sound and sightlines: a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig with LED production, and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Resident DJs and international guests rotate through weekly signature nights, while VIP sofas with bottle service look straight onto the main floor. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over.
The Apurva Kempinski
Restaurants · Nusa Dua
The Apurva Kempinski Bali is a five-star resort on the cliffs of Nusa Dua, facing the Indian Ocean, and its dining spreads across several venues. Koral, which the hotel presents as Bali's first aquarium restaurant, serves set and tasting menus beside the tanks, adults only at dinner. Izakaya by OKU is a sister to OKU in Jakarta; Reef Beach Club sits on the sand beside a 42-metre infinity pool; Bai Yun serves hot pot and dim sum; L'Atelier by Cyril Kongo is a lounge with ocean views and Mediterranean tapas.
What it means at the door
- Bring the document itself. Savaya and Zumana check valid photo ID — a passport or a driver's licence. Desa Kitsuné may ask for a valid government ID. Finns, El Kabron and Luna publish an age rule without naming a document; carry one anyway.
- A passport leaves no doubt. Make sure it is valid: an expired document is not valid ID.
- The rule applies to everyone. No table, guestlist or ticket lowers an age limit. If one person in your group is under the limit, settle the plan before the drive, not at the door.
- Age is one check of several. Dress codes and sobriety count too. Entry is always at the venue's discretion.

How FirstBali books it
Tell the concierge the venue or the area, the date, how many you are, and whether anyone in the group is under 21. The venue answers on availability and on the amount for the seat; you decide. The daybed or table is yours once the venue confirms it.
