Boat then club in Bali: a sunset cruise into a night out
A boat by day and a club by night in Bali: how to chain a private charter from Benoa with Zumana, Savaya or Desa Kitsuné, what to plan between the two, and how FirstBali arranges both.

Yes, you can spend the afternoon on a private boat and the night in a club in Bali: the charters FirstBali arranges leave from Benoa, and the night can follow at Zumana in Kuta, Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop or Desa Kitsuné in Canggu. The plan works when the two halves are booked together, with a car in between and a change of clothes in it.
This guide is about the join: how to make the boat and the club one evening rather than two separate bookings. For the boats themselves, see the boat party guide; for the yacht at sunset alone, the sunset cruise guide.
Which boat suits a night that continues
Not every charter leaves you with energy for a club. Of the trips listed on the transport page, two fit a plan that carries on ashore:
- Private yacht — sunset and party cruise. The yacht to yourselves, sunset hunting along the coast with music on board. It ends where a night out begins.
- Birthday at golden hour. The same idea, built around the person you are celebrating, with the club as the second act.
A full day at Nusa Penida is a different thing: sun, swimming and a crossing. Some groups still go out afterwards, but most are happier keeping the club for another night. The fishing charter is a day for anglers, not a warm-up.
Three ways to finish the night
Zumana, Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property with beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor around ZENÍA, a sculpture by Daniel Popper. It is open daily, with Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays and headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays. Coming off a boat at Benoa, Kuta is the natural next stop. See the Zumana guide.

Savaya, Uluwatu
Savaya sits on the Pecatu clifftop, above the Indian Ocean, around The Cube. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it the number-one club in Asia three years running and fifth in the world in its latest edition, according to the club. Weekends bring international headliners; Monday is Last Light. A boat afternoon followed by a weekend night here is a full day, so plan the car and the clothes carefully. See the Savaya guide.

Desa Kitsuné, Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is the Savaya Group's village in Canggu, with Ina Ré, Café Kitsuné and a Maison Kitsuné boutique on the grounds. Every Tuesday and Friday the garden becomes the party, rain or shine. If you are staying in Canggu, it is the night that brings you home. See the Desa Kitsuné guide.

What to plan between the boat and the club
The gap between the two is where this kind of day goes wrong. Four things to settle in advance:
- The car. One driver who waits at Benoa and takes you on to the club, or back to the villa first. A van with a driver keeps a group together; see the fleet.
- The change of clothes. All three clubs are smart casual and 21+. Swimwear and a wet towel do not get you through the door, so pack the evening outfit in the car, not on the boat.
- Bags. Savaya searches bags, has limited lockers and accepts no luggage. A small bag for the night, the rest left in the car or the villa.
- ID. A valid photo ID — passport or driver's licence — for every person. A photo of a passport on a phone is not the same thing.
A table or the guestlist
If you want somewhere of your own after a day on the water, a table is the only reserved space. Its minimum spend is set by the venue for that night; at Savaya and Zumana the maps say it includes food and beverage credit. FirstBali asks the venue for your date, and the table is yours once the venue confirms it. A deposit, when asked, follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
If you only want to get in, the guestlist is the venues' own: each guest registers on the night's page from the events calendar and receives a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, and registering does not guarantee entry. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. Some nights are ticketed only. Re-entry at Savaya and Zumana is only with a table, which matters if you hoped to step out to the car for a jacket.
The sea and the night both have a say
Boat days depend on the sea; the operator decides whether a trip goes. If the boat moves, the club may need to move with it, which is why booking both through one conversation helps: the concierge can ask the venue about another night while the operator offers another day. Nothing is held until the operator and the venue each confirm.
How to ask
Send the concierge one message: the date (and a spare one), how many you are, the boat you want, which club, table or guestlist, and where you are staying. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening, checking what can be arranged with the operator and the venue.

Questions we get asked
+Can I go clubbing after a boat trip in Bali?
Yes. The private charters FirstBali arranges leave from Benoa, and the night can continue at Zumana, Savaya or Desa Kitsuné. Book both together so the car and timing fit.
+Which boat trip works best before a club?
The private yacht sunset and party cruise, or Birthday at golden hour for a celebration. A full day at Nusa Penida usually leaves the group ready for bed rather than a dance floor.
+Can I wear swimwear to the club after the boat?
No. Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are smart casual. Keep an evening outfit in the car and change before you arrive.
+What happens to the club booking if the boat is cancelled?
The club booking stands on its own terms. If you want to move both, the concierge asks the operator for another day and the venue for another night; nothing changes until each confirms.
+Do I need ID for the club after the boat?
Yes. All three clubs are 21+ and ask for a valid photo ID, such as a passport or driver's licence. Keep it dry and with you.
+Can FirstBali arrange the boat, the car and the table together?
The concierge handles all three in one conversation and checks what can be arranged with the operator and the venue. Each part is yours once its provider confirms.
