To catch the sunset and a club the same night in Bali, stay in one area: Zumana in Kuta, El Kabron then Savaya in Uluwatu, a Berawa beach club then Desa Kitsuné. The plan, area by area.

To see the sunset and go to a club on the same night in Bali, keep both in one area, or better, at one address. Zumana in Kuta holds both under one roof; in Uluwatu, El Kabron's sunset parties and Savaya share the Pecatu clifftop; in Canggu, a Berawa beach club at sunset leads into the Garden at Desa Kitsuné on Tuesdays and Fridays. The one rule: stay put or hold a table

The simplest version of this evening never leaves the venue. If you plan to leave after sunset — for dinner elsewhere, or to change — know that at Savaya and Zumana guests can leave and come back only with a table. Without one, there is no way back in. So decide early: one venue all evening, or a table that lets you step out.

Kuta: Zumana, sunset to night

Zumana is the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, designed around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor, and open every day. It is the cleanest answer to this search: the sunset and the night happen at the same address, with ZENÍA, Daniel Popper's ten-metre sculpture, at the centre. Ritual of the Sun runs on Saturdays; headliners play on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Zumana Sunday closes the week. Its restaurant, Manuza, is on site for dinner between the two. Uluwatu: El Kabron, then Savaya

On the Pecatu cliffs, El Kabron's sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, and its Sunset Theater at the cliff edge is set up for sunset dinners. Savaya sits on the same clifftop; between the two, a driver waits for you rather than a search for a ride. Canggu: a beach club, then Desa Kitsuné

Every Tuesday and Friday the Garden at Desa Kitsuné becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Before it, spend the late afternoon at a Berawa beach club — Atlas on Berawa Beach, Finns along the Berawa beachfront — or further west, where Luna Beach Club's DJs play through sunset on the Tabanan cliffs, with fire and light shows in the evening. Ina Ré, inside Desa Kitsuné, is there for dinner in between. Desa Kitsuné's pool is decorative, so plan any swim at the beach club, not at the party.

Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.

FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.

Luna Beach Club is perched on the cliffs of the Tabanan coast, inside Nuanu Creative City by Nyanyi Beach, west of Canggu. Its bamboo architecture by Inspiral Architects won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the 2024 International Architecture & Design Awards. The complex brings together two pools, jumping platforms and a water slide, Restaurant 369, the Utopia Cave Club and the Gardenia bamboo tree pods. DJs play through sunset, and evenings bring fire and light shows.

Jimbaran and Seminyak

  • Rock Bar, Jimbaran — guests watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on. Non-resident visitors can reserve; payment by card or QR only.
  • Sardine and Les Toilettes, Seminyak — not a sunset venue, but dinner and a late club share one address on Jalan Petitenget, for the second half of the evening.

Planning the evening

  1. Pick the night first — the club decides the date. Check the events calendar for the venue's coming nights.
  2. Choose one area — the plans above all stay within one.
  3. Decide on a table — it is the only reserved space at the three partner clubs, and at Savaya and Zumana the only way back in after you leave.
  4. Dress once — the clubs are smart casual, so wear for the night, not the beach. See the club dress code.
  5. Bring ID — Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are 21+ with a passport or driver's licence.

At the door

Guestlists at the three partner clubs are the venues' own: you register for the night on its page and get a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, reduced after, and some nights are ticketed only. "Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred", and registration does not guarantee complimentary entry. A table, once the venue confirms it, does not depend on the list.
