Electronic music in Bali: plan a trip around it
Planning a trip to Bali for electronic music? Build it around Savaya on the cliffs, Zumana on the beach in Kuta and Desa Kitsuné's garden in Canggu, then add an indoor club in Seminyak.
Updated October 23, 2026 · 4 min read

Bali has become a destination in its own right for electronic music, and a trip built around it rests on three venues from Savaya Group: Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop, which calls itself "one of the world's leading destinations for electronic music"; Zumana, the beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta; and Desa Kitsuné, whose garden in Canggu parties every Tuesday and Friday. Add an indoor club in Seminyak for a late night under lasers, and you have a week.

Four kinds of room
Electronic music in Bali is played in four very different settings, and choosing between them matters more than choosing a genre.
- The cliff: Savaya, in Pecatu, 100 metres above the Indian Ocean, with pools and The Cube framing the horizon.
- The beach: Zumana, with an open-air dance floor beside beachfront daybeds and pools, and ZENÍA, a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper, at its centre.
- The garden: Desa Kitsuné, a lifestyle village in a 5,000 m² garden, created by Savaya Group with Maison Kitsuné.
- The indoor club: MU:IN and Les Toilettes, both on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak.
Savaya: the reason many people come
DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named Savaya the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026. Weekends mostly bring international headliners, Monday is Last Light, a sunset set from The Cube, and Sundays carry People of the Sun. If one night of your trip has to be a big one, it is usually here, and is Savaya worth it? helps you decide which.
Zumana: international programming on the sand
Zumana opened in August 2026, and its launch announcement describes "a musical identity built around international programming and the natural transition from sunset into night." Wednesdays and Fridays are headliner nights, Saturday is Ritual of the Sun, Sunday to Tuesday are Zumana's regular days, and Thursday rotates, including Made in Kuta, which brings together local talent, music, food and culture.
Desa Kitsuné: the island's own scene
Every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine, the Garden at Desa Kitsuné becomes the party: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs from international backgrounds on Fridays. It is the night to hear the people who play the island every week, and it pairs well with dinner at Ina Ré, the village's restaurant.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
Indoor clubs in Seminyak
For a classic club after dark, MU:IN brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Seminyak, built around a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Les Toilettes, the K-Club Group's nightclub, draws on club concepts from around the world. Both are 21+. More in the best nightclubs in Bali.
MUIN
Clubs · Seminyak
MU:IN Bali brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The club is designed around sound and sightlines: a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig with LED production, and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Resident DJs and international guests rotate through weekly signature nights, while VIP sofas with bottle service look straight onto the main floor. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over.
Les Toilettes
Clubs · Seminyak
Les Toilettes is the K-Club Group's nightclub on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, at the same address as Sardine, the group's seafood restaurant, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place. Now in its 2.0 version, the club draws on club concepts from around the world. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.
A week of electronic music, sketched
These are the venues' usual weeks, not a promise for a given date; check each night's page before you plan.
- Monday: Last Light at Savaya, for a sunset set from The Cube.
- Tuesday: Desa Kitsuné's Garden, with guest DJs.
- Wednesday: a headliner night at Zumana.
- Thursday: Zumana's rotating night, or a late one at MU:IN.
- Friday: Bali-based DJs at Desa Kitsuné, or Zumana's Friday headliner.
- Saturday: Ritual of the Sun at Zumana, or a Savaya weekend headliner.
- Sunday: People of the Sun at Savaya, or Zumana Sunday.
Four or five nights out of seven is already a lot; a week of parties in Bali helps you pace it.
Tickets, guestlists and tables
The biggest headliner nights are often ticketed only, and official tickets are sold only through the venue's own channel; at Savaya, tickets are primarily for standing room. Other nights have a guestlist: free to join, one registration per person and per night on the night's page, and never a guarantee of entry. A table is the only reserved space, with a minimum spend set by the venue for that night; it is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms. Guestlist or ticket? explains the difference.
Practical points for the trip
- Bring your passport or driving licence: all three Savaya Group venues are 21+ with a valid photo ID.
- Savaya is cashless, bags are searched and lockers are limited; leave luggage at your villa.
- Stay central to your nights: Uluwatu, Kuta and Canggu are far apart, so read where to stay in Bali before booking.
- Plan the ride home: a car with driver waits for you, which is simpler than finding a ride from a clifftop at the end of the night.
Send the concierge your dates: FirstBali sends the guestlist links for your nights or books tables with the venues, which confirm them. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team through the Bali day and evening.
