Bali nightlife Monday to Thursday: where to go midweek

Bali does not stop on weeknights: Savaya and Zumana are open daily, Monday is Last Light at Savaya, Tuesday is Desa Kitsuné's garden, and Zumana's Thursdays rotate. What each weeknight offers, and how to plan it.

Updated October 15, 2026 · 4 min read

Yes, Bali goes out from Monday to Thursday. Savaya and Zumana are open every day, Monday is Savaya's Last Light, Tuesday is the first night of the week when Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné all run, Wednesday brings a headliner at Zumana, and Thursday at Zumana rotates between named nights, including the monthly Made in Kuta. Restaurants that turn into parties fill the gaps. Here is what each weeknight is for.

The nights above are the coming ones at the three venues. These are the venues' usual weekly patterns, not a promise for a given date: each night's page says what is on and whether it has a guestlist.

Why go out midweek

Two reasons. First, the regular weekly nights are built for people who are on the island for more than a weekend: they are the venues' own formats, not one-off events. Second, if you are in Bali for a week, the weekend is only two of your nights. For the full seven-night picture, see Bali guestlist by day; for a ready-made plan, a week of parties in Bali. This guide sticks to the four weeknights.

Monday: a sunset that is the event

Savaya's Monday is Last Light, in the venue's words "the only place on the Bukit Peninsula where the magic hour isn't a backdrop. It's the main event." It suits a first night of the week: the light over the Indian Ocean from The Cube is the point, so arrive for it, not after it. Savaya Last Light explains the night.

Zumana Monday is a regular day at Sunset Bay, with the complimentary guestlist during an afternoon window, so Monday can also be a beach day in Kuta. In Berawa, MOI's themed nights include Monday Society, if dinner is the plan.

Tuesday: the night with the most choice

All three Savaya Group venues run on Tuesdays:

  • Desa Kitsuné: the Garden parties every Tuesday "rain or shine", with guest DJs. Dinner can be on the same grounds at Ina Ré.
  • Zumana Tuesday: a regular day, with the afternoon window.
  • Savaya Tuesday: the clifftop, on a weeknight.

If you are staying in Canggu, Tuesday is the easiest midweek night of all: dinner and party in one village.

Wednesday: a headliner, or a dinner

Wednesday at Zumana is a headliner night. Some carry a guestlist before a cutoff, some are ticketed only, so open the night's page before planning around it. Savaya Wednesday runs on the cliff.

If you would rather not commit to a big night, Wednesday is a good dinner evening: Jade by Todd English in Berawa has a DJ every day, and Miss Fish turns to DJs later in the evening after its omakase.

Zumana

Zumana

Beach clubs · Kuta

Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.

Jade by Todd English

Jade by Todd English

Restaurants · Berawa

Jade by Todd English is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar in Berawa, whose culinary direction draws on American chef Todd English, known for his flagship restaurant Olives. The kitchen works around a wood-fire grill, with a focus on local farms and producers, on a menu designed for sharing among friends. The cocktail bar gives its drinks an Asian touch. Warm lighting and earthy tones set the room, and the mood shifts as the night goes on, with a daily DJ and weekly late-night events.

Miss Fish

Miss Fish

Restaurants · Berawa

Miss Fish is a Japanese restaurant and late-night venue on Jalan Raya Semat in Berawa, Canggu, open since 2022. Executive Chef Carlos Barvo leads a seasonal omakase that pairs Japanese technique with European and Latin American influences. Guests choose between the Omakase Bar, a chef-guided onyx counter, the open-air Patio and the Lounge for cocktails and shared plates, and the bar holds more than 40 sakes and Japanese whiskies. Later in the evening, DJs take over. Dress code: smart casual.

Thursday: Zumana's rotation

Zumana's Thursdays rotate between ZENÍA, SENJA, Zumana Thursday, some Full Moon nights and, once a month, Made in Kuta: "Zumana's signature monthly Thursday celebration, inspired by the spirit of Kuta. Bringing together local talent, music, food, and culture." Savaya Thursday is on the cliff the same evening. Zumana's own week is detailed in Zumana's weekly nights.

Planning a midweek night

  • Choose by where you sleep. Savaya is on the clifftop at Pecatu, Uluwatu; Zumana at Sunset Bay, Kuta; Desa Kitsuné in the heart of Canggu. A weeknight is best kept close to home.
  • Register for each night. A guestlist is free to join, but each guest registers for each event, and registration does not guarantee entry. Entry is complimentary before the cutoff on the night's page and reduced after.
  • Tables. A table is the only reserved space. The venue sets the minimum spend for each night; FirstBali books it, and it is yours once the venue confirms.
  • The door. Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are 21+ and smart casual; bring a valid photo ID.
  • The weather. Events can be cancelled for inclement weather, and a registration does not transfer to another date; Desa Kitsuné's Garden parties go ahead "rain or shine".
  • The ride. Book a car with driver there and back with the night, not at the end of it. A weeknight usually means an early start the next day, so plan the return before the first drink.

Tell the concierge which weeknights you are free and where you are staying: FirstBali sends the guestlist link for each night, and books tables, dinners and the car.
