Zumana is open daily and runs the same shape every week: Zumana Sunday, Zumana Monday and Zumana Tuesday as its regular days, headline artists on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, and a Thursday that rotates between ZENÍA, SENJA, Zumana Thursday and Made in Kuta. The calendar below shows the dates currently published, each with its own guestlist or ticket terms.

The week at a glance

  • Sunday — Zumana Sunday. A regular day, every week.
  • Monday — Zumana Monday. A regular day, every week.
  • Tuesday — Zumana Tuesday. A regular day, every week.
  • Wednesday — headliner night. Built around a headline artist.
  • Thursday — the rotation. ZENÍA, SENJA, Zumana Thursday, or Made in Kuta once a month.
  • Friday — headliner night. Built around a headline artist.
  • Saturday — Ritual of the Sun. Usually with a guest.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: the regular days

The first three days of Zumana's week carry the venue's own name — Zumana Sunday, Zumana Monday, Zumana Tuesday — and they happen every week. These are the easiest days to plan around: the guestlist on these days gives complimentary entry during an afternoon window, with a reduced entry fee after it. The window is on each night's page; FirstBali does not publish it. The Zumana guestlist guide explains how to register.

Wednesday and Friday: headliner nights

Midweek and at the end of the week, Zumana books headline artists. These are the nights to check early, because their terms vary: some have a guestlist with free entry before a cutoff, others are ticketed only, with no list at all — ARTBAT's night was one of those. On a ticketed night, official tickets are sold only through the venue's own ticketing channel; tickets bought anywhere else are refused at the door. The artist and the terms for each date are on its page above.

Thursday: four names in rotation

Thursday is the day that changes most. It rotates between four nights:

  • ZENÍA — a Thursday that shares its name with the sculpture at the heart of the club (more on that below).
  • SENJA — another of the Thursday nights in the rotation.
  • Zumana Thursday — the house's own Thursday.
  • Made in Kuta — in the venue's words, "Zumana's signature monthly Thursday celebration, inspired by the spirit of Kuta. Bringing together local talent, music, food, and culture." It comes round once a month.

Which of the four falls on a given Thursday is only certain once the date is published, so look at the calendar rather than counting weeks.

Saturday: Ritual of the Sun

Saturday at Zumana is Ritual of the Sun, usually with a guest artist. It is the weekend's fixed point, and each Saturday's guest is announced on that date's page.

The place itself

Zumana is "a Savaya Group Property", developed by the Savaya Group with KAJA Group, an Indonesian hospitality developer, and it opened in 2026. It sits on the beachfront at Sunset Bay in Kuta, on Jl. Kartika Plaza, and was designed by Rockwell Group. The club is laid out as beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor.

Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host" — a 10-metre sculpture by the artist Daniel Popper, made with Balinese artisans from Ubud. The restaurant is Manuza.

Planning around the week

  • For an easy first visit, pick one of the regular days, Sunday to Tuesday, and register on the guestlist for that date.
  • For a specific artist, watch the Wednesday and Friday pages, and check straight away whether the night has a list or is ticketed only.
  • For something rooted in the neighbourhood, look for the month's Made in Kuta Thursday.
  • For a reserved place — a daybed by the beach or a table on the night — tell the concierge the date and your group size. The minimum spend is set by Zumana for each night; FirstBali books with the venue, and the table is yours once Zumana has confirmed it.

Whatever the night, the door is the same: smart casual, no flip-flops, swimwear in the pools only, 21+ with photo ID — the details are in the Zumana dress code.

Across the Savaya Group week

If you are in Bali for a full week, the three Savaya Group venues fit around one another. Savaya runs Last Light every Monday on its clifftop in Uluwatu (Savaya Last Light), and Desa Kitsuné hosts its garden parties in Canggu every Tuesday and Friday (the Desa Kitsuné guestlist). Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné compared sets the three side by side.
