Bali nightlife for parents: one evening for the two of you
On a family holiday in Bali, parents can still go out: a sunset at Savaya, dinner then Desa Kitsuné's garden party, or a table at Zumana. Children cannot come to the clubs, so plan the evening around that.

Parents on a family holiday in Bali can still have a proper night out: spend the day somewhere children are welcome, then take one evening for the two of you, with a sunset at Savaya, dinner followed by Desa Kitsuné's garden party, or a table at Zumana. The partner clubs are strictly adults, so the first thing to settle is who stays with the children.
Children and the clubs
Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné's parties are all 21+, and each guest needs a valid photo ID, a passport or a driver's licence. There is no family hour and no exception for teenagers. A night out is a night for the adults; plan the children's evening before you plan yours. Ask your villa or hotel what it offers, or tell the concierge, who checks what can be arranged.
The day with the children
Give the family the day so the evening feels earned. White Rock Beach Club, on Melasti Beach near Uluwatu, has a kids' pool and a kids' menu, with daybeds, sofas and cabanas around a lagoon pool. Le Bleu, on Nusa Dua beach, is a beachfront restaurant and beach club whose weekly programme includes beach games. The family-friendly beach clubs guide sets out each venue's rules for children.
White Rock Beach Club
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.
Le Bleu
Beach clubs · Nusa Dua
Le Bleu by K Club is a beachfront restaurant and beach club on Nusa Dua Beach, in the ITDC resort area, run by the K-Club Group. The look is French Riviera by way of Bali, all blue and white, with sunbeds, cabanas, terraces and an indoor dining room. The kitchen leans on seafood, from lobster linguine to yellowfin tuna tataki, with vegetarian and vegan options. The weekly programme mixes yoga, cocktail workshops, beach games and festive Sunday gatherings with a DJ.
Three shapes for the evening
A sunset and home early. Savaya's Last Light, every Monday, is a sunset set from The Cube on the clifftop in Pecatu. It gives you the setting without committing to a whole night.
Dinner, then a garden party. Desa Kitsuné, in Canggu, turns its garden into the party every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine. Its restaurant, Ina Ré, is on the same grounds, so dinner and the party need only one ride.
A table by the sea. Zumana, at Sunset Bay in Kuta, is open daily, from Zumana Sunday to Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, with headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays. A table there is reserved space, and at Zumana it is the only way to leave and come back in, which helps if you need to call home.

A quieter grown-up dinner
If the night out is really a dinner, choose a room children would not enjoy anyway. Koral, the aquarium restaurant at The Apurva Kempinski in Nusa Dua, is adults only at dinner. Rock Bar, below AYANA in Jimbaran, runs along the rocks above the ocean; visitors who are not staying can reserve, and payment is by card or QR only. For more ideas, see the date night guide.
The Apurva Kempinski
Restaurants · Nusa Dua
The Apurva Kempinski Bali is a five-star resort on the cliffs of Nusa Dua, facing the Indian Ocean, and its dining spreads across several venues. Koral, which the hotel presents as Bali's first aquarium restaurant, serves set and tasting menus beside the tanks, adults only at dinner. Izakaya by OKU is a sister to OKU in Jakarta; Reef Beach Club sits on the sand beside a 42-metre infinity pool; Bai Yun serves hot pot and dim sum; L'Atelier by Cyril Kongo is a lounge with ocean views and Mediterranean tapas.
Rock Bar
Bars · Jimbaran
Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, stretching some 270 metres along the rocks above the ocean, with 880 seats spread over 22 areas. Guests reach it by inclinator, watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on. The bar pours cocktails inspired by the colours of the sea alongside Mediterranean tapas built on Jimbaran Bay seafood. Non-resident visitors can reserve; the Round Deck is kept for villa guests and the Top Bar for hotel guests. Payment by card or QR only.
A table, not a queue
Parents rarely want to queue. A table is the only reserved space at the three partner clubs; its minimum spend is set by the venue for that night, and at Savaya and Zumana it includes food and beverage credit. The guestlist is the alternative: each guest registers for the night on its page, entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown there, and registration never guarantees entry. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred at the door.
A driver who waits
With children at the villa, the ride home matters more than the ride there. A Toyota Alphard with driver can wait through dinner and the party and leave when you are ready. See the driver for a night out guide.
How FirstBali arranges it
Tell the concierge your date, where you are staying and the kind of evening you want. We ask the venue for the table and arrange the car; the table is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team follows up through the Bali day and evening.
