Date night in Bali: five evenings for two, area by area
A Bali date night works best as two stops in one area: dinner, then a bar, a garden party or a club close by. Five pairings, from Seminyak to the Uluwatu cliffs, and how to book them.

The simplest way to plan a date night in Bali is to choose one area and two stops close together: a dinner, then a bar, a garden party or a club nearby. Crossing the island in the evening eats into the night, so keep the whole evening in one place. Below are five pairings that work, each built on venues FirstBali books, and the concierge can arrange both stops and the car in one conversation.
Why two stops in one area
A date night has a rhythm: a table where you can talk, then somewhere with music where you no longer need to. In Bali the second half often sits at the same address as the first, or next door. Choosing the pairing before the restaurant also means the evening does not end with a long drive between the two.
Seminyak: dinner over the rice fields, then the club on site
Sardine is a seafood restaurant on Jalan Petitenget, in an open-air bamboo building looking over a stretch of rice paddies; the kitchen cooks the daily catch in a modern Mediterranean style, with a vegetarian set menu. Les Toilettes, the K-Club Group's nightclub, is at the same address, so dinner and a late night happen without getting back into a car. The club is 21+ at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.
Sardine
Restaurants · Seminyak
Sardine by K-Club is a seafood restaurant on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, set in an open-air bamboo building that looks over a stretch of rice paddies, with a terrace for lunch or dinner. The kitchen cooks the daily catch (yellowfin tuna, scallops, snapper) in a modern Mediterranean style, with vegetables from its own farms and a vegetarian set menu. Evenings can run late: Les Toilettes, the hidden club on site, hosts DJs, and once a month The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts.
Les Toilettes
Clubs · Seminyak
Les Toilettes is the K-Club Group's nightclub on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, at the same address as Sardine, the group's seafood restaurant, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place. Now in its 2.0 version, the club draws on club concepts from around the world. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.
Berawa: an omakase counter, then a speakeasy
At Miss Fish, sit at the Omakase Bar, a chef-guided onyx counter, for a seasonal omakase that pairs Japanese technique with European and Latin American influences; the Patio and the Lounge are there for cocktails and shared plates, and DJs take over later. The dress code is smart casual. For the second stop, The Shady Pig is a speakeasy on Jalan Pantai Berawa behind an unmarked door: you need the password to get in, and DJs play later in the night.
Miss Fish
Restaurants · Berawa
Miss Fish is a Japanese restaurant and late-night venue on Jalan Raya Semat in Berawa, Canggu, open since 2022. Executive Chef Carlos Barvo leads a seasonal omakase that pairs Japanese technique with European and Latin American influences. Guests choose between the Omakase Bar, a chef-guided onyx counter, the open-air Patio and the Lounge for cocktails and shared plates, and the bar holds more than 40 sakes and Japanese whiskies. Later in the evening, DJs take over. Dress code: smart casual.
The Shady Pig
Bars · Berawa
The Shady Pig is a speakeasy on Jalan Pantai Berawa and the original bar of The Shady Family, the group behind The Shady Fox, The Shady Flamingo and The Shady Bunny. The theme is 1920s Birmingham bootleggers: the bar hides behind an unmarked door, and you need the password to get in. Cocktails lean experimental, using distillation, barrel ageing and fermentation, from the Shelby to a barrel-aged Negroni. Small plates, pinchos and sandwiches come with the drinks, and DJs take over later in the night.
Canggu on a Tuesday or a Friday: dinner and the garden
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in Canggu by the Savaya Group and Maison Kitsuné. Every Tuesday and Friday its Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Its restaurant, Ina Ré, is on the same grounds, with Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food, so you walk from the table to the dance floor. Parties are 21+ with a valid photo ID, and smart casual. More on the pairing in Desa Kitsuné for couples.

Uluwatu: a cliff-edge dinner, then Savaya
On the Pecatu cliffs, El Kabron's Sunset Theater is set up for sunset dinners at the cliff edge. Then Savaya, on the same clifftop, frames the horizon with The Cube; DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it the number-one club in Asia from 2024 to 2026. Mondays are Last Light, a sunset set from The Cube, and the weekends bring headliners. Savaya is strictly 21+ with a valid photo ID, cashless, and bags are searched. For two, see Savaya for couples.

Kuta: a beach club that runs into the night
Zumana, at Sunset Bay in Kuta, is a Savaya Group beach club with beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces and an open-air dance floor; Manuza is its restaurant, so dinner and the party share one address. Saturdays are Ritual of the Sun, Sundays are Zumana Sunday, and the weeknights rotate. Zumana is 21+, smart casual. Zumana for couples has the detail.

Guestlist or table for two
At Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, the venues' own guestlists are free to join: each of you registers individually on the night's page, linked from the Guestlist button on the events calendar, and receives a digital ticket by email. Entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on that page, reduced after; at Desa Kitsuné men have an earlier cutoff. The venues say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred, and that registration does not guarantee complimentary entry. Some nights are ticketed only. A table is the only reserved space, and at Savaya and Zumana it is also the only way to re-enter. The table is yours once the venue confirms it; any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
The car
A date night is easier when neither of you drives. The concierge can book a driver who waits through dinner and the second stop; the night-out driver guide explains how it works.
How FirstBali arranges it
Tell the concierge the date, the area and the kind of evening you want. We ask the restaurant and the club for availability and their terms, and each booking is yours once the venue confirms it. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.

Questions we get asked
+Where should we go for a date night in Bali?
Choose one area and two stops close together: Sardine then Les Toilettes in Seminyak, Miss Fish then The Shady Pig in Berawa, Ina Ré then the Desa Kitsuné garden party in Canggu, El Kabron then Savaya in Uluwatu, or Zumana in Kuta.
+Do couples get into Bali clubs more easily?
Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. That is a preference, not a guarantee: management decides at the door.
+Which nights are the Desa Kitsuné garden parties?
Every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Ina Ré, the restaurant on the same grounds, makes it a dinner and a party in one place.
+Do we each need to register for a guestlist?
Yes. At Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné each guest registers individually on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Some nights are ticketed only.
+How much is a table for two?
The minimum spend is set by the venue for each night, and the concierge confirms it with the venue for your date. A table is yours once the venue confirms it.
+Can FirstBali book a driver for the evening?
Yes, the concierge can book a driver who waits through both stops, in the same conversation as the dinner and the table.
