Canggu Saturday night: dinners that turn into parties

On a Saturday in Canggu the night grows out of dinner: Courtyard Saturdays at Ina Ré, PRÏVE at Riviera Berawa, Club 55 at Giselle. Plus Zumana and Savaya if you are ready to travel.

Saturday in Canggu is a dinner-first night. Desa Kitsuné's regular garden parties are on Tuesdays and Fridays, so on Saturdays the area's evenings grow out of the table: Ina Ré at Desa Kitsuné has its Courtyard Saturdays, Riviera Berawa turns into PRÏVE with cocktails and DJs, and at Giselle, Club 55 takes over after dinner. If you want a club night instead, the two big Saturdays are outside Canggu, at Zumana in Kuta and Savaya in Uluwatu. The concierge books the dinner and checks the rest.

Ina Ré

Ina Ré

Restaurants · Canggu

Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.

Riviera Berawa

Riviera Berawa

Restaurants · Berawa

Riviera Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar on Jalan Pemelisan Agung in Berawa, the original venue of Riviera Group, which also runs Riviera Trattoria in Pererenan and Riviera Cafe in Cemagi. The kitchen works with fresh pasta and local ingredients, with dishes such as tagliatelle in a Wagyu beef and pork ragù or cacio e pepe risotto with tuna battuta. Expect an extensive wine list, aperitifs at the bar and candlelit tables; on Saturdays the evening turns into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs.

Giselle

Giselle

Restaurants · Canggu

Giselle is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Tanah Barak in Canggu, created by a group of friends with deep roots in hospitality, who call it “a house for friends, strangers, and stories”. The mood is the Riviera brought to Bali, across a dining room and a courtyard. Seafood leads the menu, with crudos, a seafood platter, sea bream sashimi and flambéed fish, alongside homemade pasta and plates for sharing, built on local, responsibly sourced ingredients. On Friday and Saturday nights, Club 55 takes over after dinner.

Three Saturday evenings in Canggu

Courtyard Saturdays at Ina Ré

Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the Savaya Group's lifestyle village with Maison Kitsuné in the heart of Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats. Courtyard Saturdays have their own menu, and the space, drawn from Balinese arts and crafts, includes private dining rooms for groups. Ina Ré Courtyard Saturdays covers the evening in detail.

PRÏVE at Riviera Berawa

Riviera Bistro, on Jalan Pemelisan Agung in Berawa, is a Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar with fresh pasta, an extensive wine list, aperitifs at the bar and candlelit tables. On Saturdays the evening turns into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs: a way to stay at the same table from dinner into the night.

Club 55 at Giselle

Giselle, on Jalan Tanah Barak, brings the Riviera to Bali across a dining room and a courtyard, with seafood leading the menu and homemade pasta and plates for sharing. On Friday and Saturday nights, Club 55 takes over after dinner.

Other Canggu evenings with a DJ

Some addresses keep music going every evening, by their own descriptions:

  • Jade by Todd English, Berawa, a Mediterranean restaurant and bar around a wood-fire grill, with a daily DJ and weekly late-night events.
  • Miss Fish, Berawa, a Japanese restaurant and late-night venue, where DJs take over later in the evening.
  • The Shady Pig, Berawa, a speakeasy behind an unmarked door, password required, with DJs later in the night.

For the afternoon, Berawa's beach clubs run every day: Finns Beach Club keeps an all-day party going with resident DJs and live singers, and Atlas Beach Club has DJs at its pool bar. Canggu from day to night shows how to link them to dinner.

What about Desa Kitsuné on a Saturday?

The Garden's regular party nights are Tuesday, with guest DJs, and Friday, with Bali-based DJs. Desa Kitsuné sometimes holds one-off nights on other days, each with its own terms; if one is published for your Saturday, it appears below. Otherwise, a Saturday at Desa Kitsuné means dinner at Ina Ré, and the party the night before.

If you want a club night on Saturday

The island's two fixed Saturdays are a drive from Canggu:

  • Zumana, the Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, holds Ritual of the Sun every Saturday. See Ritual of the Sun.
  • Savaya, on the Pecatu clifftop in Uluwatu, runs its international headliners at weekends. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it the number-one club in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026, as Savaya states. See Savaya at the weekend.

Both are 21+ with a valid photo ID, passport or driver's licence, and smart casual. Many nights have a guestlist run by the venue: each guest registers on the night's page, joining is free, and entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown there, reduced after; registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. Some nights are ticketed only. A table is the only reserved space; the venue sets its minimum spend per night, and its table maps state that it "Includes Food & Beverage Credit". FirstBali books with the venue, the table is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. Re-entry at both is only with a table.

How to plan a Canggu Saturday

  1. Choose dinner-and-stay or dinner-and-go. Ina Ré, Riviera and Giselle keep you in Canggu; Zumana and Savaya mean a drive, so let the concierge arrange a driver for the night.
  2. Ask early. Terms and availability are set per night; the concierge checks availability with each venue for your date.
  3. Dress for the evening. Each venue sets its own dress code; Zumana, Savaya and Miss Fish state smart casual.

Plan it with FirstBali

Tell the concierge the Saturday, how many you are and the kind of evening you want. The team checks what can be arranged and comes back with the venues' terms; nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
