Courtyard Saturdays is Ina Ré's Saturday menu at Desa Kitsuné in Canggu: a spritz tree to share, wines by the glass, tapas, French Riviera boards and sweet pastries. What to order and how to book.

Courtyard Saturdays is a separate Saturday menu at Ina Ré, the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné in Canggu. It is not a dinner: it is a short card of drinks to share and small things to eat — a spritz tree, wines by the glass, tapas, charcuterie and cheese boards, and two sweet pastries. Think of it as the aperitif version of Ina Ré, made for a group of friends on a Saturday. FirstBali asks for a table through the concierge.
What Courtyard Saturdays is
Ina Ré publishes two weekend menus beside its everyday card: a Sunday brunch and Courtyard Saturdays. The Saturday one is the lighter of the two. There are no starters and mains, no courses to choose: you order a drink for the table and a few plates, and the afternoon takes care of itself. It suits a couple, a group of friends before a night out, or anyone who wants to see Desa Kitsuné in daylight without committing to a full meal.
The spritz tree
The centrepiece is the Ina Ré Spritz Tree, a spritz served for the table, sized for two, for four or for six. Two recipes:
- Summer Bliss: Ina Ré's house-made limoncello, sweet basil, prosecco and soda water.
- Classic Aperol: Aperol, prosecco and soda water.
It is the obvious order for a group, and the one that photographs best.
Wines by the glass
For those who prefer wine, the menu keeps it short: The Pale, a rosé from Château d'Esclans, and a Pinot Noir and a Chardonnay from the Pays d'Oc. The full drinks list of Ina Ré stays available through the restaurant's everyday card.
Tapas
Small, mostly French-leaning bites:
- Tuna niçoise tartlets: olive tart shells, seared yellowfin tuna, gribiche and a tomato water jelly.
- Melon and prosciutto skewers: Parma prosciutto with compressed melon and fresh herbs.
- Gruyère gougères, with a gruyère and onion custard filling.
- Jalapeño bombas, with chorizo and lime yoghurt.
- Fire-grilled Wagyu beef skewers, with crispy potatoes, pickled onions and a jalapeño cream.
The French Riviera boards
Two boards made for two people, which is the easiest way to feed a table:
- Charcuterie: pâté en croûte, Bangkal coppa, saucisson Bedugul and a fish rillette, with pickles, preserves and sourdough crostini — European technique with Balinese provenance.
- Cheese: Brie de Meaux, Comté, Fourme d'Ambert and a chèvre bûche, served with papaya preserve, jicama, jambu and a spiced palm fruit chutney.
Add the wood-fired bread basket — tomato focaccia, olive fougasse, Ina Ré's sourdough, mini baguette and olive crostini, also available piece by piece.
Sweet pastries
Two small things to finish: a canelé with matcha chantilly, and a lemon and thyme curd madeleine. A coffee at Café Kitsuné, on the same grounds, is the natural next step.
Dietary notes
The menu marks every dish: vegetarian, vegan, dairy, gluten, seafood, nut-free and gluten-free among them. The bread basket is marked vegetarian; most tapas contain dairy and gluten. Tell the concierge about allergies when you book and the information goes with the request.
Saturday, then the week's garden nights
Desa Kitsuné's garden parties fall on other nights of the week; Saturday at Ina Ré is a daytime plan. If one of the garden nights is on your calendar too, the coming ones are here:

How FirstBali books it
Tell the concierge the Saturday, how many you are, and that you are coming for Courtyard Saturdays rather than a dinner. FirstBali asks Ina Ré and passes on its answer; the table is yours once the restaurant confirms it. Our assistant replies at any hour; the team picks up through the Bali day and evening. Canggu's roads are busy, so a driver can be added in the same conversation — see our cars.
