Zumana guestlist: is Zumana free to enter?

On Zumana's regular days the guestlist gives free entry in an afternoon window, then a reduced fee. Headliner Wednesdays and Fridays use a cutoff or are ticketed only. Register per person, per event.

Zumana is free to enter on its regular days if you are on the guestlist and arrive during the complimentary afternoon window shown on the night's page; after that window a reduced entry fee applies. Headliner nights on Wednesdays and Fridays work differently — some have a guestlist with a cutoff, some are ticketed only. Joining the list costs nothing, but every person registers for every event.

Which days have a guestlist

Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, "a Savaya Group Property", and it is open daily. Its week falls into two kinds of day, and the guestlist works differently for each.

Regular days. Zumana Sunday, Zumana Monday and Zumana Tuesday run every week. On these days the guestlist gives complimentary entry during an afternoon window, with a reduced entry fee after it. The rotating Thursdays and the Saturday Ritual of the Sun usually follow a similar pattern, but terms are set event by event — check the page of the night you want.

Headliner nights. Wednesdays and Fridays are built around a headline artist. Some of these nights have a guestlist with complimentary entry before a cutoff; others are ticketed only, with no guestlist at all. ARTBAT's night at Zumana, for example, had no list. Never assume a headliner date has a guestlist until its page shows one.

For what each night actually is — the Sunday-to-Tuesday sessions, the Thursday rotation, Ritual of the Sun — see Zumana's weekly nights.

How to register

The list is run by the venue itself, on its own booking page, one page per night. FirstBali gives you the link to that page — through the Guestlist button on each night above, or from the concierge — and you register yourself.

The form asks for:

  • the number of guests, split by female, male and unspecified;
  • first name and surname, and gender;
  • your "Island Status": living in Bali full time, here for a few months, or just visiting;
  • your Instagram, your nationality and your email (WhatsApp, postcode and date of birth are optional);
  • acceptance of the terms, and a captcha.

After you register, "you will receive a digital ticket at the email specified". Keep it on your phone for the door.

Three rules matter:

  • Every person, every event. "Guests are required to register individually for each event they wish to attend." A Sunday registration does not cover Monday, and each member of the group needs to be registered — or counted on the form — for that night.
  • Real details only. "If any fake information is entered into the guest list form, you will not be added."
  • Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. The terms say so in as many words.

Complimentary, then reduced

Joining the list is free. What the list changes is the price at the door, and that depends on when you arrive:

  • within the complimentary window, or before the cutoff: free entry for registered guests;
  • after it: a reduced entry fee.

The windows and cutoffs differ from night to night, and FirstBali does not publish them or the fees. Read them on the page of the date you want, not on a screenshot from last week. For how cutoffs work across the island, see guestlist cutoffs explained.

What the guestlist does not promise

"Registration on the guest list does not guarantee complimentary entry." Management can refuse entry, cap capacity or close an event at any time. Two further rules are specific to Zumana and Savaya:

  • Weather. Events can be cancelled for inclement weather, and guestlist registrations are not transferable when that happens — you register again for another night.
  • Re-entry. Leaving and coming back is not permitted unless a table reservation has been purchased. If you have a table and need to step out, see a Guest Relation Officer before you leave.

The door also applies a dress code and a 21+ rule with photo ID; both are covered in the Zumana dress code guide.

Ticketed-only nights

On a ticketed-only night there is no list to join. Zumana's official tickets are sold exclusively through the venue's own ticketing channel, and tickets bought anywhere else are refused at the door. The night's page on FirstBali shows which applies to each date.

When you want a table

The guestlist is standing entry. A table is the only way to a reserved space, it allows re-entry, and it carries a minimum spend that Zumana sets for each night. The Table button on each night opens the venue group's own table map and pricing page when one is published; FirstBali quotes no figures itself. To book, tell the concierge the date and your group size — FirstBali books with the venue, and the table is yours once Zumana has confirmed it. More in the Bali table booking guide.

Questions we get asked

+Is Zumana free to enter?

On its regular days, yes, for guestlist registrants who arrive during the complimentary afternoon window shown on the night's page; after that a reduced entry fee applies. Some headliner nights are ticketed only, with no free entry.

+How do I get on the Zumana guest list?

Open the guestlist page for the night you want — FirstBali gives you the link — and complete the form with names, gender, Island Status, Instagram, nationality and email. Zumana then emails you a digital ticket. Register for each event separately.

+Does Zumana have a guestlist on Wednesdays and Fridays?

Sometimes. Wednesdays and Fridays are headliner nights: some offer a guestlist with free entry before a cutoff, others are ticketed only — ARTBAT's night had no list. Check the page of the date you want.

+Does the Zumana guestlist guarantee entry?

No. Zumana's terms state that registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and management can refuse entry, cap capacity or close an event. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.

+Can I leave Zumana and come back in?

Only with a table. Re-entry is not permitted unless a table reservation has been purchased; table guests should see a Guest Relation Officer before leaving.

+What happens to my Zumana guestlist registration if it rains?

Zumana can cancel an event for inclement weather, and guestlist registrations are not transferable to another night when that happens. You register again for the next event you want to attend.
