When to book a club in Bali: the booking timeline

There is no fixed lead time: each night has its own terms. The order that works in Bali: pick the night, check its page, ask for a table early, register yourself, then plan the ride home.

There is no single rule for how far ahead to book a club in Bali: terms and availability are set by the venue for each night, and a table, a ticket and a guestlist each open and close on their own logic. What does not change is the order. Choose the night, read its page, ask for a table as soon as you know you want one, register or buy your ticket yourself, then book the ride home. This guide walks through that sequence at Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné.

Step 1: choose the night, not just the club

Every booking in Bali is for a night. Savaya's Monday is Last Light, a sunset set from The Cube; its weekends bring headliners and its Sundays are People of the Sun. Zumana runs Ritual of the Sun on Saturday, Zumana Sunday and a weeknight rotation that includes Made in Kuta. Desa Kitsuné holds its garden parties on Tuesday and Friday, "rain or shine". Start from the events calendar, where each night has its own page, and from the party calendar for the shape of the season.

Step 2: read that night's page

The night's page is the only reference for that date. It shows whether the night has a guestlist or is ticketed only, the cutoff for complimentary entry when there is a list, and the Table button that opens the venue's own table map for the night. Read it when you choose the night, then again on the day: terms change per night, and a night that was ticketed only can open a list later.

Step 3: if you want a table, ask first

A table is the only reserved space in these clubs, so it is the part of the plan that depends most on availability. Ask as soon as you know the night and the group:

  1. Send the concierge the venue, the date, the number of guests and the kind of spot you want.
  2. FirstBali checks with the venue, which sets the minimum spend for that night (the Savaya and Zumana maps say it "Includes Food & Beverage Credit").
  3. If the venue asks for a deposit, it follows the venue's terms. A deposit is not a confirmation.
  4. The table is yours once the venue confirms it. Until then, nothing is booked.

How early "early" needs to be varies by night; the concierge checks the actual availability rather than guessing. For the mechanics of minimum spend and seating, see the table booking guide.

Step 4: tickets, from the venue only

On a ticketed night, buy from the venue's own channel and nowhere else. At Savaya, tickets are "primarily for standing room only", so a ticket and a table are two different plans. Guestlist, ticket or table compares the three.

Step 5: guestlist, each guest for themselves

When the night has a list, each guest registers individually for that event on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the page and reduced after (at Desa Kitsuné, the cutoff for men is earlier). Registration "does not guarantee complimentary entry", and "mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred". Register once the group is settled, and check the page again on the day. FirstBali runs no list of its own.

Step 6: dinner and the ride home

Once the night is set, build backwards from the cutoff: dinner, then the drive. At Desa Kitsuné, Ina Ré is on the same grounds. Book the return with the night: FirstBali arranges cars with driver that wait for you. At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only possible with a table, so plan to arrive with everything you need.

On the day

  • Re-read the night's page.
  • Every guest carries a passport or driver's licence: all three clubs are 21+.
  • Check the dress code and keep bags small; Savaya is cashless and searches bags.

The full list is in the night out checklist.

Booking late

Plans made on the day can still work: some nights have space, some do not. Last-minute tables explains what a same-day request looks like. Write to the concierge: an assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening, and checks what can be arranged with the venue.

Questions we get asked

+How far in advance should I book a club table in Bali?

There is no fixed lead time: availability is set by the venue for each night. Ask as soon as you know the night and the group, and the concierge checks with the venue.

+When is my table confirmed?

When the venue confirms it. A deposit, if the venue asks for one, follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.

+When should I register on the guestlist?

Once your group is settled and the night's page shows a list. Each guest registers individually, and it is worth re-reading the page on the day.

+The night is ticketed only. Can that change?

Yes: terms change per night and a night can open a list later. The night's page shows the current terms.

+Where should I buy club tickets in Bali?

Only through the venue's own channel. At Savaya, tickets are primarily for standing room only.

+Can I still book on the day?

Sometimes: it depends on the night. Write to the concierge, who checks what can be arranged with the venue.
