For a corporate dinner or a team event in Bali, choose a venue that publishes its own group or corporate offer: Akar near Ubud and Sardine in Seminyak host company dinners, Finns and White Rock run team events by the beach, and a private yacht takes the whole team to sea. Send FirstBali's concierge the brief; we ask the venues and arrange the transport.
Start with the brief
A venue answers faster, and more precisely, when it has the whole picture. Before anyone is asked, settle:
- the date, and a second one if you can move;
- the headcount, and whether it may still change;
- the format: a seated dinner, a standing cocktail, a private area or the whole venue;
- what else happens: speeches, a presentation, awards, music;
- dietary needs, collected from the team in advance;
- where everyone is staying, which decides the transport.
The budget is a conversation with the venue: each one sets its own minimum spend or package, and the concierge passes on its answer before you commit.
Restaurants that host company dinners
- Akar, in the jungle near Ubud, invites companies to hold "corporate retreats, board dinners, partner appreciation nights" there, offers exclusive venue hire, and says package deals are available for group reservations. It has no designated quieter area for business meetings, so plan a dinner rather than a working session.
- Sardine, in Seminyak, asks you on its corporate events page to "host your clients, partners or team" there, with a terrace, a dining area, a main bar area and an open-air ricefield area to choose from.
- MîA, in Berawa, lists corporate gatherings among the private events it hosts, with menus tailored to the event and the group.
- Ina Ré, at Desa Kitsuné in Canggu, has private rooms, and a private dining area in two zones that can be combined into one.
- Miss Fish, in Berawa, tailors menus, seating and bar programmes for private and group events, brand launches included.
- Giselle, in Canggu, reserves part of the restaurant for a group, and BELLA, in Berawa, is available for private hire.
Akar
Restaurants · Ubud
Akar, meaning “root”, is the steakhouse of K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, north of Ubud, set in the greenery of the jungle. Spread over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen, it grills Australian and Japanese cuts, Wagyu included, over charcoal, alongside seafood, charcoal-roasted bone marrow and a curated wine list. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Akar has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.
Sardine
Restaurants · Seminyak
Sardine by K-Club is a seafood restaurant on Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, set in an open-air bamboo building that looks over a stretch of rice paddies, with a terrace for lunch or dinner. The kitchen cooks the daily catch (yellowfin tuna, scallops, snapper) in a modern Mediterranean style, with vegetables from its own farms and a vegetarian set menu. Evenings can run late: Les Toilettes, the hidden club on site, hosts DJs, and once a month The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts.
MiA
Restaurants · Berawa
MîA is a modern Asian restaurant and bar on Jalan Raya Semat in Tibubeneng, in the Berawa part of Canggu. The menu is built for sharing, pairing Asian heritage with contemporary technique: Wagyu gyoza with karashi, soft-shell crab with amazu ponzu, Chilean sea bass tempura and Thai green curry. Carefully crafted drinks are made to match the food, and the setting blends modern style with traditional touches under the open Bali sky. A table here is made for gathering friends.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Our group dinner guide goes through them area by area.
A team day by the beach
- Finns Beach Club, Berawa, runs corporate events — gala dinners, networking evenings, holiday parties, training sessions — with dedicated event specialists, and team-building programmes adapted to the group, indoors or outdoors. Finns is adults-only, sixteen and over, and sets a minimum group size for corporate bookings.
- White Rock Beach Club, Melasti, has a beachfront meeting room, the Samudera Ballroom and the Melasti rooms, and takes requests for meetings and conferences, company gatherings, gala dinners and team building.
- Le Bleu, Nusa Dua, can be reserved exclusively for private events and presents itself as a venue for corporate events by the sea.
- Atlas Beach Club, Berawa, runs a group booking service that covers corporate events.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
White Rock Beach Club
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.
Le Bleu
Beach clubs · Nusa Dua
Le Bleu by K Club is a beachfront restaurant and beach club on Nusa Dua Beach, in the ITDC resort area, run by the K-Club Group. The look is French Riviera by way of Bali, all blue and white, with sunbeds, cabanas, terraces and an indoor dining room. The kitchen leans on seafood, from lobster linguine to yellowfin tuna tataki, with vegetarian and vegan options. The weekly programme mixes yoga, cocktail workshops, beach games and festive Sunday gatherings with a DJ.
Atlas Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.
A meeting, then dinner
When the day includes a conference room, The Apurva Kempinski in Nusa Dua presents itself as a meeting and conference venue, built around the Candi Ballroom — pillarless, facing the ocean, in natural daylight — and pitched for product launches, incentive programmes and executive retreats. Its restaurants, from Koral to Izakaya by OKU, are on the same resort, so the dinner needs no second journey.
The team at sea
A private boat is the team event people still talk about. The private yacht sunset and party cruise puts the whole team on deck with music on board, crew, a guide, drinks and snacks included; the full-day island hopping trip crosses to Nusa Penida for Manta Point, Crystal Bay and snorkelling, gear included. Either way, the yacht is yours alone. See the boat party guide.
Moving the group
Arriving together is part of the event. FirstBali's vehicles with driver include the Toyota Hiace Premio for a large group, the Toyota Alphard for executives and guests of honour, and the Toyota Innova Zenix for smaller groups; ask for as many vehicles as the headcount needs, and for the drivers to wait until the evening ends. Read the van with driver guide and the Alphard guide.
Decor, sound and the extras
A stage, a microphone, a screen, branded decor, a photographer: each venue decides what it can provide. The concierge passes the request on and comes back with the venue's answer; nothing is promised until the venue has confirmed it.
How FirstBali takes the brief
Send the concierge the brief above. We pass it to the venues that fit, come back with what each proposes — the format, the menu options and the amount the venue sets — and you choose. The booking is yours once the venue confirms it. An assistant replies at any hour, and the team follows up during its working hours.
