Gift a night out in Bali: arrange it for someone else
Want to offer someone a night out in Bali? FirstBali sells no vouchers, but the concierge can arrange the evening for them: a table at Savaya, Zumana or Desa Kitsuné, a dinner, a driver.

To give someone a night out in Bali, you arrange the evening in their name rather than buy a voucher: FirstBali does not sell gift cards, but the concierge can book a table, a dinner or a driver for the person you are treating, while you handle it from wherever you are. The usual choices are a table at Savaya, Zumana or Desa Kitsuné, with a dinner before and a car there and back.
Who this is for
People ask for this in a few situations:
- Parents or friends visiting Bali while you stay at home.
- A partner or a friend's birthday, arranged as a surprise.
- A thank-you for a colleague, a host or someone who helped with a trip.
For a birthday you are attending yourself, see a birthday for her or a birthday for him; for a surprise with you in the room, the surprise party guide.
What you can arrange
- A table at a club or beach club. At Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné a table is the only reserved space, its minimum spend is set by the venue for each night, and it is booked in the guest's name once the venue confirms it.
- A dinner before. Ina Ré at Desa Kitsuné shares the grounds with the garden party; at Zumana the restaurant is Manuza; El Kabron, on the Uluwatu cliffs, has a Sunset Theater set up for sunset dinners.
- A car with a driver. The evening starts at the hotel door and ends there; see a private driver in Bali.
FirstBali checks what can be arranged beyond that, case by case.
Choosing the night for them
Savaya, on the Pecatu clifftop, is the grand gesture: DJ Mag named it the number-one club in Asia three years running and fifth in the world in its Top 100 Clubs. Monday's "Last Light" is a sunset set from The Cube, gentler for parents; weekends bring international headliners.
Zumana, at Sunset Bay in Kuta, is a beach club with beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces and an open-air dance floor around ZENÍA, a sculpture by Daniel Popper. Ritual of the Sun runs on Saturdays and Zumana Sunday every week.
Desa Kitsuné, in Canggu, is a garden village with Café Kitsuné, Ina Ré and a Maison Kitsuné boutique; the Garden becomes the party every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine.

For a quieter gift, a sunset at El Kabron or Rock Bar, or a dinner at Akar, the K Club steakhouse in the jungle north of Ubud.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Rock Bar
Bars · Jimbaran
Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, stretching some 270 metres along the rocks above the ocean, with 880 seats spread over 22 areas. Guests reach it by inclinator, watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on. The bar pours cocktails inspired by the colours of the sea alongside Mediterranean tapas built on Jimbaran Bay seafood. Non-resident visitors can reserve; the Round Deck is kept for villa guests and the Top Bar for hotel guests. Payment by card or QR only.
Akar
Restaurants · Ubud
Akar, meaning “root”, is the steakhouse of K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, north of Ubud, set in the greenery of the jungle. Spread over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen, it grills Australian and Japanese cuts, Wagyu included, over charcoal, alongside seafood, charcoal-roasted bone marrow and a curated wine list. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Akar has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.
What the guest still needs to do
Some things cannot be done on someone else's behalf, so tell them in advance.
- Bring photo ID: all three venues are 21+ with a valid passport or driver's licence. The person you treat must be of age, and so must anyone with them.
- Register for a guestlist themselves: guestlists are the venues' own, and each guest signs up individually on the night's page. That is why a table is the usual gift: it is booked for them. Even then, the door decides.
- Dress smart casual: see the Bali club dress code.
- Pay at the venue on its terms: Savaya is cashless. Who settles the spend on the night is a question to raise with the concierge before booking, since the venue sets its own terms.
Keeping it a surprise
Tell the concierge what the guest should and should not know. FirstBali needs the guest's name and a way to reach them on the day, so plan how they will hear about it: a message from you, or one from the concierge at the time you choose. Nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation, so wait for that before you announce the gift.
How FirstBali helps
Send the concierge the date, the guest's name, how many are going, and the kind of evening you want for them. FirstBali brings back the venue's terms, books once you agree and checks what can be arranged for transport. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.

Yes. FirstBali books it with the venue in the guest's name, and it is theirs once the venue confirms it.
