Yes, you can train in Bali without a membership. Reload Sanctuary in Canggu sells a one-day pass, a three-day pass and a weekly pass, and its own FAQ states that "day passes include gym access, group classes and the recovery & wellness area." The gym takes walk-ins, subject to capacity; classes are booked in the Reload app. The club is adults only.
The passes Reload Sanctuary sells
The club's FAQ lists:
- A one-day pass, the way the club suggests trying it before anything longer.
- A three-day pass and a weekly pass, for a short stay or a training week.
- A Sunrise pass for early sessions and a Sunset pass for the evening. Their hours are set by the club and shown on its site; check them before you go, as they can change.
- Memberships, monthly and longer, for people staying a while.
Passes and memberships are personal and cannot be shared. The club sets the price and terms of each one; FirstBali does not quote them.
What a day pass includes
In the club's words: gym access, group classes and the recovery and wellness area. In practice that means:
- The gym: a full strength and conditioning floor, a functional fitness and HYROX zone, and a rooftop outdoor training area above the rice fields.
- Group classes: HYROX and functional fitness, strength and conditioning, boxing, Pilates, flowing yoga, Yin and recovery yoga, HIIT and mobility, and a community Run & Recover session.
- Recovery: ice bath, cold plunge, sauna, steam room, a recovery pool and a quiet meditation area.
Personal training is available one to one, booked with the club.
Walking in versus booking
- Gym floor: walk-ins are allowed, subject to capacity. Busy times can fill up, so have a back-up slot in mind.
- Classes: booked in advance in the Reload app, which shows the live weekly schedule and real-time availability per class. If a class matters to you, book it as soon as you have your pass.
- What to bring: in the club's words, "just comfortable training wear and shoes." The equipment is provided.
- Experience: none needed; the coaches adapt sessions to your level.
Who can use it
Reload Sanctuary is 18+ only, no kids allowed. It is not a family stop: if you are travelling with children, see our family trip guide for the rest of the day. Around the recovery pool, cabanas are first come, first served, and vaping is allowed only by the pool.
Eating after training
Reload Kitchen, inside the club, is open to members and visitors alike, from breakfast to dinner: smoothie bowls, power salads, protein mains and healthy desserts. You order at the counter or from your table in the app; there is no delivery, and outside food and drinks are not allowed in. Dinner seating is by reservation. For a slower meal nearby, Zai Cafe on Batu Bolong serves from breakfast through dinner.
Fitting training into a Bali trip
Training and nightlife sit well together if you plan the week: a morning session and a recovery round before a day party, or a rest day after a late one. Canggu's lanes are busy, so a driver or a scooter makes a daily routine easier; see getting around Bali and the scooter licence rules. How FirstBali helps
FirstBali lists Reload Sanctuary because guests ask for it. For a table at Reload Kitchen, tell the concierge the day and how many you are, and FirstBali passes on the club's answer. Passes, classes and personal training are sold and booked by the club itself; tell the concierge what you are after and the team checks what can be arranged. Nothing is confirmed until the club confirms it. Our assistant replies at any hour; the team picks up through the Bali day and evening. A car or a driver for the week is on our transport page.
