Bali nightlife in August: a two-week plan
August trips to Bali tend to be long ones. How to spread a fortnight of nights across Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, when to book a table, and how to pace yourself.
Updated October 23, 2026 · 3 min read

August in Bali runs on the clubs' regular weekly programmes, which is good news for a long stay: across two weeks you can see Savaya on the Uluwatu cliff, Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta and Desa Kitsuné's garden parties in Canggu without repeating a night. There is no special August season to wait for; the real calendar is on our events page. Plan a few key nights, book tables for those, and leave room to rest.

Three venues, three moods
- Savaya — the clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs poll placed it first in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026, according to DJ Mag and Savaya. Monday "Last Light" from The Cube, headliners at the weekend, "People of the Sun" on Sundays. See the Savaya guide.
- Zumana — the newest of the three, a Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta that opened in August 2026. Ritual of the Sun on Saturday, Zumana Sunday, and a weeknight rotation that includes "Made in Kuta". See the Zumana guide.
- Desa Kitsuné — a Savaya Group village in Canggu with Ina Ré, Café Kitsuné and the Maison Kitsuné boutique; garden parties every Tuesday and Friday. See the Desa Kitsuné guide.
A fortnight, paced
Week one
- Arrival night: rest. See your first night in Bali.
- Tuesday: Desa Kitsuné's Garden, dinner at Ina Ré first.
- Saturday: Ritual of the Sun at Zumana.
- Sunday: a slow day, or Zumana Sunday.
Week two
- Monday: Last Light at Savaya.
- Midweek: a Zumana weeknight, or a night without clubs.
- Friday: Desa Kitsuné again, or dinner elsewhere.
- Weekend: Savaya's headliner night, the big one, with a table if your group wants a base.
Two or three nights out a week is a sustainable rhythm over a fortnight. A week of parties in Bali has a tighter version.
Which nights deserve a table
A table is the only reserved space at all three venues. Its minimum spend is set by the venue per night, and on Savaya's and Zumana's maps it includes food and beverage credit. Reserve one for the nights that matter most, typically a Savaya weekend or a birthday. FirstBali books it with the venue; it is yours once the venue confirms, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only possible with a table. See the Bali table booking guide.
Guestlist and tickets for the other nights
The venues run their own lists. You register individually on the night's page and receive a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, reduced after it (earlier for men at Desa Kitsuné). Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. Some nights are ticketed only: buy through the venue's own channel only. All three are 21+ with a valid photo ID, a passport or a driver's licence.
Between the nights
A long stay leaves days to fill: beach clubs such as Finns Beach Club in Berawa, a boat trip, or a villa for the group from our villas. Remember that the Desa Kitsuné pool is decorative only; Savaya is the partner club with pools.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Getting around
The partner venues sit far apart, so a driver for the evening saves the hunt for a ride at the end of the night. FirstBali arranges drivers and vans; see a driver for a night out.
