Bali nightlife in December: plan the month
December in Bali mixes the clubs' regular weekly nights with festive nights whose terms change one by one. How to plan the month, in what order to book, and what to check on each night.
Updated October 23, 2026 · 3 min read

December in Bali is two months in one. The partner clubs keep their weekly programmes, so an ordinary December week still has Savaya's Monday sunset, Desa Kitsuné's garden parties and Zumana's Saturday. As the holidays approach, festive nights take over: terms are set night by night, many nights are ticketed only and tables go early. Plan the key nights first, then fill the rest from the weekly rhythm on our events page.

Step one: pick your key nights
Most December trips have two or three nights that matter: a birthday, Christmas week with friends, New Year's Eve. Name them first, before anything else, and ask the concierge about them. For these nights:
- Tables go first. A table is the only reserved space at Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné. Its minimum spend is set by the venue per night, and on Savaya's and Zumana's maps it includes food and beverage credit. It is yours once the venue confirms it; any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
- Tickets may be the only way in. Many festive nights are ticketed only. Buy only through the venue's own channel, linked from the night's page. At Savaya, the venue says tickets are primarily for standing room only.
- A list can open later. Terms change per night, and a ticketed-only night can open a guestlist later. Keep an eye on the night's page.
For New Year's Eve specifically, read the New Year's Eve guestlist guide and New Year's Eve dinner in Bali.
Step two: fill the ordinary nights
Between the key nights, the weekly programmes the venues publish carry on:
- Monday — Savaya's "Last Light", a sunset set from The Cube.
- Tuesday and Friday — Desa Kitsuné's garden parties in Canggu, "rain or shine".
- Weeknights — Zumana's rotation at Sunset Bay, including "Made in Kuta".
- Saturday — Zumana's Ritual of the Sun; weekend headliners at Savaya.
- Sunday — Savaya's "People of the Sun" and Zumana Sunday.
On these nights, the venues' own guestlists usually do the job. You register individually on the night's page and receive a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, reduced after it (earlier for men at Desa Kitsuné). Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
Step three: the logistics
- Rides. The clubs are spread across the south, from the Uluwatu clifftop to Kuta and Canggu. A private driver who waits for you avoids the scramble when everyone leaves at once. See a driver for a night out and our transport.
- ID. All three are 21+ with a valid photo ID: a passport or a driver's licence.
- Weather. These are open-air venues and each one's terms allow a night to be cancelled for inclement weather. Check the night's page on the day; see the rainy season guide.
- Bags. Savaya is cashless, searches bags, has limited lockers and accepts no luggage.
Dinner around the night
December dinners book up too. Desa Kitsuné keeps dinner and the party at one address: Ina Ré, its restaurant, is on the same grounds as the Garden. For Christmas itself, see Christmas in Bali.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Staying on for a villa week
Large groups over the holidays often take a villa and go out from there. FirstBali lists villas and can coordinate the nights out around them; the group villa guide explains how.
How FirstBali helps
Send the concierge your dates, group size and key nights. We check each night's terms, book tables with the venues, send the guestlist or ticket pages, arrange the drivers and tell you only when the venue has confirmed. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.
