Bali nightlife in September: pick your base
September in Bali runs on the clubs' weekly programmes. Where to stay for the nights you want: Uluwatu for Savaya, Kuta for Zumana, Canggu for Desa Kitsuné, and how to mix them.

September in Bali has no single event to plan around: Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné run their regular weekly programmes, and the real calendar is on our events page. The decision that shapes a September stay is where you sleep. Each of the three partner venues sits in a different part of the south, so choose the base closest to the nights you care about most, and treat the others as nights out with a driver.

Why the base matters more than the month
The three venues are spread across the island's south: Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop in Pecatu, Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta, and Desa Kitsuné in Canggu. Their weeks follow the same pattern in September as in any ordinary month, so the question is not which week to come but which nights you want, and which area puts them on your doorstep. For a broader view of the areas, see where to stay in Bali.
Base one: Uluwatu and Pecatu, for Savaya
Stay on the Bukit if Savaya is the reason for the trip. The club is set above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, and DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026, according to DJ Mag and Savaya.
- Monday — "Last Light", the sunset set from The Cube.
- Weekend — international headliners.
- Sunday — "People of the Sun".
El Kabron stands on the same Pecatu cliffs, with its Sunset Theater at the cliff edge and sunset parties with DJs and live instruments, which makes it an easy evening on a night Savaya is not on your list. See Uluwatu nightlife and villas in Uluwatu.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Base two: Kuta, for Zumana
Stay near Kuta if you want to come back to Zumana several times. It is a Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay, opened in August 2026, with beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, an open-air dance floor and ZENÍA, Daniel Popper's sculpture, at its centre.
- Saturday — Ritual of the Sun.
- Sunday — Zumana Sunday.
- Weeknights — a rotation that includes "Made in Kuta".
Kuta also sits between the Bukit and Canggu, which makes it a practical middle if you plan to see all three venues. More in the Kuta guide.
Base three: Canggu, for Desa Kitsuné
Stay in Canggu if you want garden parties and a choice of restaurants and beach clubs around them. Desa Kitsuné is a Savaya Group village with Ina Ré, Café Kitsuné and the Maison Kitsuné boutique, and its Garden becomes the party every Tuesday and Friday, "rain or shine". Dinner at Ina Ré on the same grounds makes the night a single place.
Around it, the catalogue has Finns Beach Club and Atlas Beach Club on the Berawa beachfront for the daytime. See villas in Canggu.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
A September week from each base
- From Uluwatu. Monday at Savaya for Last Light, a sunset at El Kabron midweek, Saturday at Zumana, and Savaya again for a weekend headliner.
- From Kuta. Tuesday at Desa Kitsuné, Saturday's Ritual of the Sun at Zumana, Sunday at Savaya or Zumana.
- From Canggu. Tuesday and Friday in the Garden, a daytime at a Berawa beach club, and one night out to Savaya with a driver.
These are the venues' usual weeks, not a promise for a given date: the night's page always has the final word.
Getting in, whichever base you choose
- Guestlist. Each venue runs its own list. You register individually for each night on the night's page, linked from the Guestlist button on the flyer, and receive a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page and reduced after it (earlier for men at Desa Kitsuné). Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
- Tickets. Some nights are ticketed only. Buy only through the venue's own channel.
- Tables. The only reserved space, with a minimum spend set by the venue for each night. FirstBali books it with the venue, and it is yours once the venue confirms it. Any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
- The door. All three are 21+ with a valid photo ID: a passport or a driver's licence.
The nights away from your base
The nights outside your area are the ones to plan: a driver for the night takes you there and waits, and nobody in the group has to ride home on a scooter. FirstBali arranges cars with drivers.
How FirstBali helps
Tell the concierge your dates, your group and the nights you want. We suggest a base, help you find a villa, send each night's page, book tables with the venues and arrange the rides, and tell you when the venue has confirmed. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.
