Sunset party Bali: Last Light, Ritual of the Sun and more
Bali's two sunset parties by name are Savaya's Last Light on Mondays and Zumana's Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. Then the beach clubs. How each works, and how to get in: guestlist or table.

The two sunset parties in Bali built around the moment itself are Savaya's Last Light, every Monday on its clifftop in Uluwatu, and Zumana's Ritual of the Sun, every Saturday on the beach at Sunset Bay in Kuta. Both start in daylight and carry on after dark. Get in on the night's guestlist, from its page below, or with a table booked through the concierge.

What makes a sunset party
A sunset party is not a drink with a view. It is a night programmed around the light: the music starts while the sun is still up, the set builds as it goes down, and the dance floor takes over when it is gone. Bali's west-facing coast makes this possible almost every day of the year. If you only want the view, Bali sunset spots is the page for you; this one is about the party.
Savaya: Last Light, Monday
Savaya is the clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, "100 metres above the Indian Ocean", between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Every Monday is Last Light, which Savaya lists as a "sunset set from The Cube" and describes as "the only place on the Bukit Peninsula where the magic hour isn't a backdrop. It's the main event."
Monday is the club's own recurring night, the same name every week, so it can be planned before you land. Savaya is strictly 21+ with photo ID, smart casual, and cashless. Everything about the night is in Savaya Last Light.
Zumana: Ritual of the Sun, Saturday
Zumana, the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, was built around the sunset. Its website calls it "the moment ZUMANA was built for. The horizon catches fire, the tribe gathers by the shore", and then: "When the sun drops, the shore transforms. The music rises, the energy deepens."
Saturday is Ritual of the Sun, usually with a guest artist, on a site of beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor around ZENÍA, Daniel Popper's 10-metre sculpture. The rest of the week follows the same sunset-into-night shape, from Zumana Sunday onwards. Details in Ritual of the Sun and Zumana Sunday.
Desa Kitsuné: the garden, Tuesday and Friday
Desa Kitsuné, in Canggu, is not on the water, and it does not pretend to be. Its party is in the Garden, a 5,000-square-metre village setting shared with Café Kitsuné, Ina Ré and a Maison Kitsuné boutique, every Tuesday and Friday, "rain or shine": guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. It belongs on this page as the evening that follows a Canggu sunset: watch the light go down on the beach, then go on to dinner at Ina Ré and the garden. How that evening works: Desa Kitsuné, dinner and party.
The beach clubs' sunset parties
Beyond the three, several catalogue venues put the sunset into their programme:
- El Kabron, on the cliffs of Pecatu, runs sunset parties where DJs play with live saxophone, violin and trumpet; the White Sunset Party and the Afro House Sunset Party are among its weekly regulars.
- Luna Beach Club, on the Tabanan cliffs inside Nuanu Creative City, has DJs playing through sunset, then fire and light shows.
- Finns Beach Club in Berawa keeps an all-day party going every day with resident DJs and live singers, and the sunset falls in the middle of it.
- Atlas Beach Club, on Berawa Beach, has DJs by the pool through the day and beanbags on the sand facing the sea.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Luna Beach Club
Beach clubs · Tabanan
Luna Beach Club is perched on the cliffs of the Tabanan coast, inside Nuanu Creative City by Nyanyi Beach, west of Canggu. Its bamboo architecture by Inspiral Architects won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the 2024 International Architecture & Design Awards. The complex brings together two pools, jumping platforms and a water slide, Restaurant 369, the Utopia Cave Club and the Gardenia bamboo tree pods. DJs play through sunset, and evenings bring fire and light shows.
Finns Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.
Atlas Beach Club
Beach clubs · Berawa
Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.
Programmes change, so the venue page shows what is on for your date. For a sunset at sea, FirstBali charters a private yacht for a sunset cruise: see the Bali boat party guide.
How to get in
The guestlist, at Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné. Each venue runs its own list, joined from the night's page on the calendar above. It is free; every guest registers individually for each date and receives a digital ticket by email. Registered guests enter free before the night's cutoff, with a reduced fee after it, and registration does not guarantee entry. Terms vary from night to night, and some nights are ticketed only, with no list: the night's page says which. Mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. The full walk-through is in the Bali guestlist guide.
A table or a daybed. The only reserved place on the night, with a minimum spend set by the venue for that date. Each flyer's Table button opens the venue's own map when one is published; FirstBali books the table with the venue, and it is yours once the venue confirms it. At Savaya and Zumana, a table is also the only way to leave and come back in.
The beach clubs. Daybeds and front tables are booked through the concierge, on each venue's own terms.
Getting the timing right
- Arrive before the light goes. At a sunset party the best of the night happens early, and at Zumana on the regular days the complimentary guestlist window falls in the afternoon. Each night's page shows its cutoff.
- Dress for the door. All three Savaya Group venues are 21+ and smart casual; swimwear stays in the pools. See the Bali club dress code.
- Book the ride home first. Cliff roads and coastal traffic make the return the hard part; arrange a driver through transport.
- Check the sky. Our advice: in the rainy season cloud can hide the horizon, though the parties themselves go ahead unless the venue cancels for the weather.
