Bali table booking: the questions to ask before you agree
Booking a club or beach-club table in Bali? The questions worth asking before you agree, from what the minimum includes to deposit terms, dress code and re-entry, and who answers them.
Updated November 8, 2026 · 4 min read

Before you agree to a club table in Bali, ask what the minimum spend includes, what the deposit terms are, when the table is actually confirmed, and what the door expects of your group. Only the venue can answer for your night: at Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, FirstBali asks the venue and passes its answers on, in words, before you commit.
This is a checklist, grouped by what each question protects you from. For how tables work in general, see how table bookings work; for the term itself, minimum spend explained.
About the table itself
- Which table is it? Each venue has its own table map for the night, opened from the flyer's Table button on the events calendar. Ask where on the map yours sits.
- Is it suited to our group? Give your real headcount, so the venue answers for the right table.
- What is the minimum spend for that night, and what does it include? The venue sets it per night. At Savaya and Zumana, the maps say it includes food and beverage credit; ask what that covers on your night.
About money and terms
FirstBali never quotes an amount; these questions are about how the terms work.
- Is there a deposit, and on what terms? If the venue asks for one, it follows the venue's terms.
- What happens if we cancel or change the date? Ask before you pay, not after you cancel.
- How does the venue take payment? Savaya is cashless; ask the others' policy for your night, including whether a bill can be split across cards. See splitting a table.
About confirmation
- When is the table ours? Only when the venue confirms it. A paid deposit is not a confirmation, and FirstBali holds no tables in reserve.
- Under which name is it booked? The venue deals with one name; make sure it is someone who will be there.
About the door
Having a table does not change the door's rules. Ask, or check, before the night:
- Age and ID. Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are 21+ with a valid photo ID, a passport or driver's licence. See ID and passports at Bali clubs.
- Dress code. All three are smart casual. See the club dress code.
- Group make-up. All three say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred; entry is decided by management.
- Bags. Savaya searches bags, has limited lockers, accepts no luggage, and allows no outside food or drink.
About the night
- Can we step out and come back? At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only with a table — one reason to have one.
- What kind of night is it? Check the night's page on the events calendar for its programme. Regular nights include Last Light on Mondays at Savaya, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays at Zumana, and the Tuesday and Friday garden parties at Desa Kitsuné, rain or shine.
- Is the rest of the group coming without a table? Guestlists are the venues' own and individual: each guest registers on the night's page and receives a digital ticket by email. Entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown there, and registering does not guarantee entry. Some nights are ticketed only.
- Is it an occasion? Say so when you ask — a birthday, an anniversary, a farewell. Whatever you hope for at the table, the concierge checks with the venue what can be arranged rather than promising it, and tells you what the venue answers before the night. See birthday parties in Bali.

Questions FirstBali will answer, and those it will not
The concierge answers how a booking works, sends your request to the venue, and passes on the venue's terms and confirmation. It will not quote a figure from memory, state that a table is free before the venue says so, or say a table is confirmed before the venue confirms it. An assistant answers at any hour; the team works through the Bali day and evening.
How to send your questions
You do not need to ask all of them. Send the concierge the date, the venue, how many of you, the occasion, and any of the questions above that matter to you. The concierge asks the venue and comes back with its answers; you decide.

Questions we get asked
+What should I ask before booking a club table in Bali?
Ask what the minimum spend includes, the deposit and cancellation terms, when the table is confirmed, and the door's rules on age, ID and dress. The venue answers for your night.
+Can FirstBali tell me the minimum spend straight away?
No. The venue sets it per night, so the concierge asks the venue for your date and passes on its answer.
+Is my table confirmed once I pay the deposit?
No. A deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. The table is yours once the venue confirms it.
+Does a table guarantee entry for the whole group?
The door's rules still apply: 21+, valid photo ID and smart casual at Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, and management decides entry.
+Can we leave and come back with a table?
At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only possible with a table. For other venues, ask the concierge to check.
+Do I have to ask all these questions myself?
No. Send the concierge your date, venue and group, plus the questions that matter to you; it asks the venue and passes on the answers.
