Berawa nightlife: party dinners, a speakeasy, garden nights

Berawa nightlife after the beach clubs: dinners that turn into parties, a password speakeasy, and Desa Kitsuné's Tuesday and Friday garden parties next door. Night by night.

Updated October 26, 2026 · 4 min read

Berawa's nightlife starts at the dinner table. Once the beach clubs wind down, the restaurants on and around Jalan Pantai Berawa turn into parties with DJs, a password speakeasy takes over late, and Desa Kitsuné's garden parties run next door in Canggu every Tuesday and Friday. This guide covers the night only; our Berawa guide covers the day.

How a Berawa night works

There is no single club at the heart of Berawa. The night is built from rooms that change mood: you book dinner, the music rises with the evening, and you move on to a bar or to the garden. The useful plan is to choose the dinner for the night of the week, then decide where to finish.

Dinners that become the party

  • MOI is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa inspired by the Aegean and Bodrum. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party; its themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.
  • BELLA, also on Jalan Pantai Berawa, cooks a wood-fired Mediterranean and Middle Eastern menu around an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth; the evening turns into a party, with weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party.
  • Jade by Todd English pairs a wood-fire grill with an Asian-leaning cocktail bar, a daily DJ and weekly late-night events.
  • Riviera Bistro on Jalan Pemelisan Agung is a candlelit Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar; on Saturdays the evening turns into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs.
Moi

Moi

Restaurants · Berawa

MOI Canggu is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address MOI Bodrum. The kitchen works with fire and Mediterranean flavours, for dinners meant to be lingered over, and the cocktails draw on sun-warmed botanicals. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party. Themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.

BELLA

BELLA

Restaurants · Berawa

BELLA is a contemporary Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, run by The SEN Group. Executive chef Oğuz Karadoğan, formerly of Lokanta 1741 in Istanbul, cooks a wood-fired menu made for sharing: lamb meatballs in rich tomato sauce with Hokkaido bread, a Mediterranean ceviche of seabass, kefir and gremolata, a whole roasted cauliflower with tahini. The room is built around an open kitchen, a long bar and a DJ booth, and the evening turns into a party, with weekly Taverna nights and Kitchen Party.

Jade by Todd English

Jade by Todd English

Restaurants · Berawa

Jade by Todd English is a Mediterranean restaurant and bar in Berawa, whose culinary direction draws on American chef Todd English, known for his flagship restaurant Olives. The kitchen works around a wood-fire grill, with a focus on local farms and producers, on a menu designed for sharing among friends. The cocktail bar gives its drinks an Asian touch. Warm lighting and earthy tones set the room, and the mood shifts as the night goes on, with a daily DJ and weekly late-night events.

Riviera Berawa

Riviera Berawa

Restaurants · Berawa

Riviera Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar on Jalan Pemelisan Agung in Berawa, the original venue of Riviera Group, which also runs Riviera Trattoria in Pererenan and Riviera Cafe in Cemagi. The kitchen works with fresh pasta and local ingredients, with dishes such as tagliatelle in a Wagyu beef and pork ragù or cacio e pepe risotto with tuna battuta. Expect an extensive wine list, aperitifs at the bar and candlelit tables; on Saturdays the evening turns into PRÏVE, with cocktails and DJs.

Our Berawa restaurants guide compares the kitchens; here, the point is the music after the main course.

Late: The Shady Pig

The Shady Pig is a speakeasy on Jalan Pantai Berawa and the original bar of The Shady Family. The theme is old-time Birmingham bootleggers: the bar hides behind an unmarked door and you need the password to get in. Cocktails lean experimental, with distillation, barrel ageing and fermentation, small plates come with the drinks, and DJs take over later in the night.

More in our Shady Pig guide.

Tuesday and Friday: Desa Kitsuné

Next door in Canggu, Desa Kitsuné is a Savaya Group village with Maison Kitsuné: Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a boutique share a garden that becomes the party every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine. Tuesdays bring guest DJs, Fridays Bali-based DJs. A Berawa dinner followed by the Garden is the most natural night out on this side of the island; our Desa Kitsuné dinner guide covers the order.

Parties are 21+ with a valid photo ID, a passport or a driver's licence. The guestlist is the venue's own: you register for each night on its page, linked from the Guestlist button on the events calendar, and get a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, which is earlier for men, and reduced after. Registration does not guarantee entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. The pool in the garden is decorative.

The big nights further south

For a headliner night, Berawa guests go south:

  • Savaya, on the Uluwatu clifftop in Pecatu, named number one in Asia three years running and fifth in the world in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, as Savaya reports. Last Light on Mondays, headliners at weekends, People of the Sun on Sundays.
  • Zumana, the Savaya Group beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta: Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, Zumana Sunday, and a weeknight rotation including Made in Kuta.

Take a driver for these; see a driver for a night out.

A week in Berawa, night by night

  1. Monday: Monday Society at MOI, or Last Light at Savaya if you go south.
  2. Tuesday: a Berawa dinner, then guest DJs in the Desa Kitsuné garden.
  3. Any night: Jade's daily DJ, then The Shady Pig.
  4. Friday: dinner, then Bali-based DJs at Desa Kitsuné.
  5. Saturday: PRÏVE at Riviera Bistro, or Ritual of the Sun at Zumana.

Check each night on /events and the venue pages: programmes are the venues' own and can change.

How FirstBali helps

Tell the concierge the night, the group and the kind of evening. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening, and checks what can be arranged: the dinner table, a club table, the car. A club table's minimum spend is set by the venue per night; the table is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
