Desa Kitsuné dinner and party: Ina Ré into the garden

Dine at Ina Ré, then cross to the garden party on the same grounds every Tuesday and Friday. Book the dinner, then a table or your own guestlist registration: dinner alone does not get you in.

At Desa Kitsuné, dinner and the party share one address: Ina Ré, the village's restaurant, serves dinner every day, and every Tuesday and Friday the garden on the same grounds becomes the party. Book them as two things — a table at Ina Ré, then either a garden table or your own registration on the night's guestlist — because a dinner reservation does not put you on the list. FirstBali books both with the venue.

Why it works as one evening

The village was designed for exactly this. Desa Kitsuné describes itself as a reflection of Bali's "relax, dine and celebrate" culture, "inviting guests to enjoy the offerings all day and night-long". Café Kitsuné, Ina Ré, the Maison Kitsuné boutique and the Garden share one address in Canggu, so the whole evening needs one drop-off and one pick-up. If it is your first visit, what to expect at Desa Kitsuné sets the scene.

Before dinner: coffee and the shop

Arrive early and the village is worth a wander. Café Kitsuné offers, in its own words, "a taste of Paris in the heart of Bali" with "sweet and savoury pastries as well as the range of signature coffees", and the Maison Kitsuné boutique carries pieces from the French-Japanese brand. What is open, and when, is on the Desa Kitsuné page; the village by day has its own guide, Desa Kitsuné, day and night.

Dinner at Ina Ré

Ina Ré "blends together South American street food culture and delicacies from the Mediterranean" — paella, ceviche, wood-fired grilled meats — and is open daily for lunch and dinner. The full menu is in the Ina Ré guide. Three things matter on a party night:

  • Age. On Tuesday and Friday event days, Ina Ré admits only guests aged 18 and over, according to its own FAQ. The garden party after it is 21+.
  • The minimum spend. The restaurant's FAQ describes a per-person minimum spend for dinner from a certain hour, reached with whatever food and drinks you order. FirstBali passes on the figure Ina Ré confirms for your date; none is published here.
  • The set menu. You choose from every category, the dishes arrive family-style, to share, and drinks are not included.

From the table to the garden

This is where evenings go wrong. A reservation at Ina Ré is a restaurant booking; it is not a place at the party. To get into the garden you need one of three things:

  1. Your own guestlist registration for that night. Every guest registers individually for each event, from the night's page; joining is free, and a digital ticket arrives by email.
  2. A ticket, on nights that are ticketed only. There is no list on those.
  3. A garden table, the only reserved space at the party, with a minimum spend set by the venue for that night.

Watch the clock as well as the menu. Registered guests enter free only before the night's cutoff, and the cutoff for men comes earlier than for women; after it a reduced entry fee applies. If your group includes men, plan dinner so that they reach the garden in time. The times are on the night's page, and the full rules are in the Desa Kitsuné guestlist guide.

Three ways to plan the evening

  • Dinner, then the list. Book Ina Ré, register everyone for the garden, and leave the table before the cutoff. The simplest version, on a night that carries a guestlist.
  • Dinner, then a table. Book both through FirstBali: a seat at dinner and a reserved spot in the garden afterwards. The version for a celebration, or for a ticketed-only night — see Desa Kitsuné table booking and, for a special occasion, a birthday at Desa Kitsuné.
  • Dinner on its own. Ina Ré serves dinner every day, party or not, and on the other days the restaurant is open to children from the age of 8. At the weekend it also has its own menus for Sunday brunch and Courtyard Saturdays.

How to book both

Send the concierge one message: the date, how many you are, dinner at Ina Ré (the main room or a private dining room), and a garden table or the guestlist. FirstBali books the dinner and the table with the venue on your behalf, and sends you the link to the night's guestlist page if that is your route; you register yourself. Dinner and table are confirmed separately, and each is yours once the venue confirms it. Add a car with a driver in the same conversation; the way there and back is in getting to Desa Kitsuné, and home. Our assistant replies at any hour; the team picks up through the Bali day and evening.

The coming nights

Questions we get asked

+Can I have dinner and then party at Desa Kitsuné?

Yes. Ina Ré, the village's restaurant, serves dinner every day, and the garden party on the same grounds runs every Tuesday and Friday. Book the dinner and your way into the garden separately.

+Does a dinner booking at Ina Ré get me into the Desa Kitsuné party?

No. Dinner is a restaurant booking. For the garden you need your own guestlist registration for that night, a ticket on ticketed-only nights, or a garden table.

+Is there a minimum spend at Ina Ré?

Ina Ré's FAQ describes a per-person minimum spend for dinner from a certain hour, reached with food and drinks of your choice. FirstBali passes on the amount the restaurant confirms for your date.

+Can children eat at Ina Ré on party nights?

No: on Tuesday and Friday event days, Ina Ré admits only guests aged 18 and over. On other days, children from the age of 8 can dine, according to the restaurant's FAQ.

+When should I leave dinner to make the Desa Kitsuné guestlist?

Before the night's cutoff, which comes earlier for men than for women. The times are set event by event and shown on the night's guestlist page.

+Can FirstBali book Ina Ré and a Desa Kitsuné table together?

Yes, in one conversation with the concierge. Each is booked with the venue and confirmed separately; each is yours once the venue confirms it.
