How to get to Savaya Bali, and home again
Savaya is on the cliffs of Pecatu, Uluwatu, at Bali's southern tip. Go by car with a driver booked for the return too, wear smart casual and bring photo ID: it is strictly 21+.

Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, on the Bukit peninsula at the southern tip of Bali. The simplest way there is a car with a driver, and the most important part of the plan is the way back: book the same driver for the return before you leave, because the night ends late and far from most hotels. Bring a valid photo ID and dress smart casual; the venue is strictly 21+.
Where Savaya is
Savaya gives its address as Jl. Belimbing Sari, Banjar Tambiyak, Pecatu, Uluwatu, in the Badung regency. In the venue's own words it is "nestled between the wild paradise of the jungle and soaring limestone cliffs of Uluwatu" and sits "100 metres above the Indian Ocean". It is a club with pools on a cliff, not a beach club: there is no beach to arrive by.
That position is the reason people go, and the reason the journey needs a plan. Pecatu is at the far end of the island from Canggu, Seminyak and Ubud, at the end of the Bukit peninsula.
Getting there
A car with a driver is the way most guests arrive, and the one we recommend. Give the driver the address above, agree that he waits or comes back for you, and keep his number on your phone. If you are staying in Uluwatu or Jimbaran, the trip is short; from anywhere else, leave earlier than you think you need to, especially on a headline weekend or a Monday, when Last Light makes the sunset the point of the evening.

Rock Bar

Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, stretching some 270 metres along the rocks above the ocean, with 880 seats spread over 22 areas. Guests reach it by inclinator, watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on. The bar pours cocktails inspired by the colours of the sea alongside Mediterranean tapas built on Jimbaran Bay seafood. Non-resident visitors can reserve; the Round Deck is kept for villa guests and the Top Bar for hotel guests. Payment by card or QR only.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Parking and drop-off
Savaya's website and FAQ publish no information on parking, drop-off points or shuttles. We are not going to describe arrangements the venue has not published. In practice, a driver handles the arrival for you; if you need to know anything specific before your night, ask the concierge and the team checks it.
Why book the way home before you go
The way back is where Savaya nights go wrong, and official travel advice explains the risks:
- Roads at night. Canada's travel advice is to avoid driving after dark outside major cities and major roads, because some drivers do not use lights.
- Scooters. The UK Foreign Office reports a large increase in moped and motorbike accidents in Bali, some fatal. After a night at a club, a scooter is not the way home.
- Street pickups. The same advice warns against drivers who approach passengers on the street claiming to work for an app.
A driver booked in advance removes all three: you know the car, you know the person, and he is there when you walk out. If your group splits, say so when you book; two cars are easier to arrange in advance than at the door.
Before you leave the hotel
- Photo ID. Savaya "strictly enforce[s] a 21+ policy": bring a valid passport or driving licence, even if you are clearly over 21.
- The right clothes. Smart casual. No beer-branded singlets, cut-off clothing or athletic sportswear; full detail in the Savaya dress code.
- A card, not cash. Savaya is a cashless venue; cash is accepted only in exceptional circumstances.
- No luggage. The venue advises against bringing luggage or a big travel bag; storage is limited and lockers are first come, first served. If you are changing hotels that day, drop your bags first.
- A small bag. All bags are searched at the entrance.
Ticket, guestlist or table
Many nights have a free guestlist: you register yourself for the night and receive a digital ticket by email, with complimentary entry before the cutoff shown on that night's page. Some headline nights are ticketed only. A table is the only reserved space, and it is yours once Savaya confirms it. The coming nights:
