Seminyak day to night: lunch, beach club, Petitenget late

A Seminyak day to night: lunch over the rice paddies at Sardine, an afternoon at Zumana or a Berawa beach club, then dinner and a late night on Jalan Petitenget at Les Toilettes or MU:IN.

A Seminyak day to night works best as a loop: lunch on Jalan Petitenget, an afternoon at a beach club on the coast either side — Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta, or FINNS and Atlas in Berawa — then back to Petitenget for dinner at Sardine and a late night at Les Toilettes or MU:IN. FirstBali's catalogue has no beach club in Seminyak itself, so the beach part of the day means a short move, and the night brings you home.

How the day fits together

Seminyak's strength in the catalogue is one street. Jalan Petitenget holds a seafood restaurant, a club hidden at the same address, and a second club built around sound. That makes the evening easy and the afternoon the only decision: which beach club, and therefore which direction. Decide that first, then book the rest around it.

Midday: lunch at Sardine

Sardine, by the K-Club Group, sits in an open-air bamboo building looking over a stretch of rice paddies, with a terrace for lunch or dinner. The kitchen cooks the daily catch — yellowfin tuna, scallops, snapper — in a modern Mediterranean style, with vegetables from its own farms and a vegetarian set menu. A long lunch here is a calm start; if you would rather keep Sardine for the evening, eat lightly and go straight to the beach.

Afternoon: a beach club either side

Towards Kuta: Zumana. The Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay was designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor, with ZENÍA, a sculpture by Daniel Popper, at its centre. It is open daily, 21+, smart casual. A daybed is how you hold a place for the afternoon; see daybeds at Zumana.

Towards Berawa: FINNS or Atlas. FINNS Beach Club is adults-only, with several party zones, pools, swim-up bars and private cabanas, and resident DJs and live singers every day. Atlas Beach Club puts its beanbags on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. See Atlas vs FINNS.

Zumana

Zumana

Beach clubs · Kuta

Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.

Beach clubs · Berawa

FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.

Atlas Beach Club

Atlas Beach Club

Beach clubs · Berawa

Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.

Each beach club sets its own terms for daybeds and cabanas. More options in Seminyak beach clubs.

Sunset: stay, or head back

If the afternoon is at Zumana, the sunset can be part of it: on Saturdays Ritual of the Sun is the venue's weekly sunset night. Some Zumana nights carry on after dark — headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays — and on those you may prefer to stay in Kuta rather than come back. The calendar decides:

Evening: dinner and the night on Petitenget

Back in Seminyak, change into smart clothes: the clubs ask for them. Then:

  • Sardine for dinner, if you had lunch elsewhere. Once a month, The Gates of Bali brings fire dancers and aerial acts.
  • Les Toilettes, the K-Club Group's club at the same address as Sardine, so dinner and a late night happen in one place. It is 21+, at the door's discretion, and the dress code is smart: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear.
  • MU:IN, also on Jalan Petitenget: a nightlife brand born in Seoul, with a towering sound system, lasers, a kinetic lighting rig and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. VIP sofas with bottle service look onto the main floor. 21+.

Choosing between the two clubs? See MU:IN vs Les Toilettes.

Three things to plan

  1. The direction of the afternoon, Kuta or Berawa, because it decides whether the sunset brings you back or keeps you there.
  2. One driver for the day, between the beach club, your villa and Petitenget. See a private driver in Bali.
  3. Your ID and a change of clothes. Every club in this plan is 21+, and a beach outfit will not pass a smart dress code.

How FirstBali helps

Tell the concierge the day, the group and the plan. We check what can be arranged — a daybed, a dinner table, a club table, a driver — and ask each venue; each booking is yours only once that venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms. Zumana's guestlist is the venue's own, linked from /events. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
