Zumana is laid out around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces and an open-air dance floor. A reserved spot is booked with the venue for a given night, its minimum spend set by Zumana.

Zumana, the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, is laid out around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. A daybed or a table is a reserved place for a given date: it is booked with Zumana, its minimum spend is set by the venue for that night, and it is yours once Zumana has confirmed it. The calendar below shows the dates published so far.

What the daybeds are part of

Zumana was designed by Rockwell Group and opened in 2026 on the beachfront at Sunset Bay, on Jl. Kartika Plaza. The space runs from the sand to the pools and the dance floor, and at its centre stands ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud. The restaurant is Manuza.

A daybed puts you on the beach side of that layout, with your own place to come back to through the afternoon and into the night. If you prefer to be closer to the music, a table near the dance floor may suit better; the concierge can ask the venue what is open for your date.

Daybed or guestlist

The guestlist and a reserved place do different things:

  • The guestlist gets you in. It is free, you register individually for each night on its page, and entry is complimentary before that night's cutoff, reduced after it. It does not reserve anywhere to sit, and registration does not guarantee complimentary entry.
  • A daybed or a table gives you a reserved place for the night. Zumana's table map notes that the minimum spend includes food and beverage credit. Re-entry at Zumana is possible only with a table.

On ticketed-only nights there is no list, and a reserved place booked with the venue is the way to be sure of somewhere to sit. Zumana tickets explains those nights.

How to book a daybed through FirstBali

  1. Pick the date from the calendar above. Headline nights on Wednesdays and Fridays, and Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, tend to be the busiest.
  2. Tell [the concierge](/concierge) the date, the size of your group and whether you would like a daybed by the beach or a table near the music.
  3. FirstBali asks Zumana what is open for that night and books with the venue on your behalf.
  4. Wait for Zumana's confirmation. The place is yours once the venue has confirmed it. If Zumana asks for a deposit, it follows the venue's terms, and paying it is not a confirmation.

An assistant answers at any hour; the team works through the Bali day and evening. The Zumana table booking guide covers the same steps for tables.

Choosing the day

  • Sunday to Tuesday carry the house's own names — Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday — and are the steadiest days to plan a long afternoon around.
  • Wednesday and Friday are headliner nights.
  • Thursday rotates between named nights, including the monthly Made in Kuta.
  • Saturday is Ritual of the Sun, usually with a guest.

What's on at Zumana sets the week out in full, and Zumana Sunday looks at the first day of the week.

What to bring and wear

  • 21+, with a valid photo ID: a passport or a driver's licence.
  • Smart casual, no flip-flops; swimwear in the pools only. The Zumana dress code has the detail.
  • Sun protection for the afternoon, and something to change into if you stay on for the night. What to bring to Zumana lists the rest.

Daybeds elsewhere in Bali

If you are comparing beach clubs, the Bali beach club daybed guide covers how daybeds work across the island. Within the Savaya Group, Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop has pools and The Cube, and Desa Kitsuné in Canggu holds its parties in a garden; both book reserved places the same way, through the venue.
