Finns Beach Club: the birthday package

Finns stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure, and is adults only. It is divided into several party zones, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas and dance floors, and resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day. The club lists private events and birthdays among what it hosts.

Its birthday package is an add-on you choose when you book your daybed. On the club's own page, it includes:

FINNS Beach Club stretches along the beachfront at Berawa, in Canggu, under a bamboo structure designed by PBM Architecture. It is adults-only and divided into several party zones, from FINNS Beach Party and FINNS Garden Party to FINNS Grey Goose Party and FINNS VIP Party, with pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, dance floors and restaurants spread across the site. Resident DJs and live singers keep an all-day party going every day, and the club also hosts private events, birthdays and corporate groups.

Atlas Beach Club: birthdays as a group booking

Atlas sits on Berawa Beach, with its beanbags on the sand, a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day, and daybeds and sofas across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant to the Party Side in front of the stage. Atlas does not describe a fixed birthday package on its beach club page; it handles celebrations through Group Bookings: "From birthdays to special events, Atlas is built to host unforgettable group experiences", with "dedicated service, premium seating options". Tell the concierge it is a birthday and how many of you there are, and it asks Atlas what can be arranged.

Atlas Beach Club sits on Berawa Beach and bills itself as the biggest beach club in the world. Its signature beanbags sit right on the sand facing the sea, beside a vast pool and a pool bar where DJs play through the day. Daybeds and sofas are spread across distinct zones, from The Deck restaurant overlooking the beach to the Party Side in front of the stage. Daily shows draw on the four elements, and a beachfront padel court and a 100-metre flying fox complete the site.

Zumana: a birthday that runs into the night

Zumana is the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor, with ZENÍA, a ten-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper, at its centre. It is 21+ with a valid photo ID, smart casual. For a birthday, the reserved space is a table: its minimum spend is set by the venue per night and includes food and beverage credit, and re-entry is only with a table. The guestlist, on nights that have one, is the venue's own; each guest registers individually on the night's page.

Other settings for the day

These clubs publish no birthday offer on their own sites, so we promise none — but they make good settings, and the concierge can ask what is possible:

White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.

Planning the birthday

  1. Choose the shape of the day. A daytime party (Finns, Atlas), a sunset (El Kabron), or a day that becomes a night (Zumana).
  2. Book early for a weekend. Daybeds go first on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
  3. Check every guest's age. Finns is adults only; Zumana is 21+ with photo ID.
  4. Say it is a birthday when you book, so the club can prepare what it offers.
  5. Book the car home at the same time: FirstBali arranges a car with a driver.
