Five nights out in Bali: a Friday-to-Tuesday plan

Five nights out from Friday to Tuesday catch every regular night of Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné. Three club nights, two lighter ones, and the bookings that keep it simple.

Five nights out in Bali fit best from Friday to Tuesday: that window holds Desa Kitsuné's two garden nights, Zumana's Ritual of the Sun and Zumana Sunday, Savaya's weekend and its Monday Last Light. Make three of the five club nights and two lighter ones (dinner, a sunset bar, an early finish) and the fifth night will still be worth going out for. Below is the plan, with the lighter alternatives and what to book.

Why Friday to Tuesday

The three partner clubs each run a weekly programme. Desa Kitsuné holds its garden parties on Tuesday and Friday, "rain or shine". Zumana has Ritual of the Sun on Saturday and Zumana Sunday, with a weeknight rotation that includes Made in Kuta. Savaya brings headliners at the weekend, People of the Sun on Sundays and Last Light, a sunset set from The Cube, on Monday. Starting on Friday and ending on Tuesday puts all of them within reach, with two choices on most evenings. If your dates differ, Bali guestlist by day lays out the week.

Night 1, Friday: the garden at Desa Kitsuné

Start in Canggu. Desa Kitsuné is a Savaya Group "village" with Ina Ré, Café Kitsuné and the Maison Kitsuné boutique on the same grounds, so dinner at Ina Ré and the garden party need no driving in between. A good first night: the setting does the work.

Night 2, Saturday: Ritual of the Sun, or a Savaya headliner

The big night. Zumana at Sunset Bay, Kuta, runs Ritual of the Sun on Saturday; Savaya, on the Uluwatu clifftop, brings a weekend headliner. Choose one. This is the night most likely to need a table booked ahead, and on some headline nights the venue sells tickets only. See headliner nights in Bali.

Night 3, Sunday: the lighter night

After Saturday, keep Sunday slow. Two ways to do it:

  • A day by the sea that ends early: Zumana Sunday, or People of the Sun at Savaya if you skipped it on Saturday.
  • Dinner and a drink, no club: in Jimbaran, Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar, where guests watch the sun set over the sea and stay as the DJs play on. In Berawa, The Shady Pig is a speakeasy behind an unmarked door, with experimental cocktails.

Night 4, Monday: Last Light at Savaya

Savaya calls Last Light "the only place on the Bukit Peninsula where the magic hour isn't a backdrop. It's the main event." It is a sunset set from The Cube, and it suits the fourth night because the light, not the late hour, is the point. Before or after, El Kabron in Pecatu has its own cliffside sunset parties.

Night 5, Tuesday: back to the garden, or a quiet last dinner

Close where you began, at Desa Kitsuné's Tuesday garden party, or make the last night a dinner. In Seminyak, Les Toilettes shares its address with Sardine, the K-Club Group's seafood restaurant, so dinner and a late night can happen in one place; the night without clubs has other ideas.

Pacing five nights

  • Alternate. A club night, then a lighter one. The plan above has two lighter options built in.
  • One venue per night. The three clubs are in different areas, and re-entry at Savaya and Zumana is only possible with a table. Club hopping in Bali explains the trade-off.
  • Keep the day after the big night free. Beach clubs are for another day; the daybed guide has the options.

What to book

  1. Tables, for the nights that matter most. A table is the only reserved space; the venue sets its minimum spend per night. FirstBali books it with the venue through the concierge, and it is yours once the venue confirms it. Any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
  2. Tickets, only from the venue's own channel, on ticketed-only nights.
  3. Guestlist registrations, each guest individually, for each night, on the night's page. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the page and reduced after, and registration does not guarantee it.
  4. A driver for each night. FirstBali arranges cars with driver that wait for you.

Check each night's page on the events calendar on the day: terms change per night. Everyone carries a passport or driver's licence, since all three clubs are 21+.

Questions we get asked

+Which five nights are best for going out in Bali?

Friday to Tuesday covers every regular night of the three partner clubs: Desa Kitsuné on Friday and Tuesday, Zumana on Saturday and Sunday, Savaya at the weekend and on Monday.

+Is going out five nights in a row too much?

It works if two of the five are lighter: a dinner, a sunset bar or an early finish. Keep the day after the big night free.

+Do I register separately for each night?

Yes. Each guest registers individually for each event on the night's page, and registration does not guarantee complimentary entry.

+What is Last Light at Savaya?

Savaya's weekly Monday event: a sunset set from The Cube, on the Uluwatu clifftop.

+Which night needs a table booked first?

Usually the Saturday, whether Ritual of the Sun at Zumana or a Savaya headliner. The concierge checks availability with the venue, and the table is yours once the venue confirms it.

+Can FirstBali arrange a driver for all five nights?

Send the dates to the concierge, who checks what can be arranged: FirstBali offers cars with driver that wait for the return.
