Free entry clubs in Bali: how the guestlist really works

At Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, free entry means the venue's own guestlist: complimentary before that night's cutoff, reduced after, never guaranteed. What it covers and what it does not.

In Bali, "free entry" at the big clubs means one thing: the venue's own guestlist. At Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné, joining the list is free, and entry is complimentary for guests who arrive before that night's cutoff, shown on the night's page; after the cutoff, entry is reduced rather than free. It is not a guarantee, it is not available every night, and it covers the door, nothing else.

Which clubs offer complimentary entry

The three partner venues of FirstBali publish the same model in their terms:

  • Savaya, the clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, named #1 in Asia in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs from 2024 to 2026 and #5 in the world in 2026, according to DJ Mag and Savaya;
  • Zumana, the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, Kuta, opened in August 2026;
  • Desa Kitsuné, the Savaya Group's village in Canggu, with garden parties on Tuesday and Friday.

For other venues, we do not publish door policies we have not read from the venue itself. Ask the concierge about a specific night and we check with the venue.

The conditions, in the venues' own terms

  1. You register individually, for each night, on that night's page, linked from the Guestlist button on our events page. Each guest in a group registers.
  2. You receive a digital ticket by email. That is your registration, not a promise of free entry.
  3. Arrive before the cutoff shown on the night's page. Before it, entry is complimentary; after it, entry is reduced. At Desa Kitsuné the cutoff is earlier for men.
  4. Management decides. In the venues' words, "registration on the guest list does not guarantee complimentary entry", and "mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred".
  5. Bring a valid photo ID. All three venues are 21+, with a passport or a driver's licence.

The step-by-step is in how to register for a Bali guestlist, and the timing question in the Bali guestlist cutoff.

Nights with no free entry

Some nights are ticketed only: there is no list, and entry is by ticket bought through the venue's official channel. Terms change night by night, and a night that started as ticketed can open a list later, so the night's page is the only reliable answer. We never tell you a named night has or lacks a list; we send you its page. See guestlist or ticket?.

What free entry does not include

Complimentary entry gets you through the door. It does not include:

  • a reserved place: a table is the only reserved space, with a minimum spend set by the venue per night;
  • drinks or food: Savaya is cashless, so plan to pay by card or the venue's means; see cashless payment at Bali clubs;
  • re-entry: at Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only with a table.

If your group wants somewhere to sit and a fixed base for the evening, a table is the route. The concierge books it with the venue; it is yours once the venue confirms, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.

Getting the most from the list

  • Register early in the day so every guest has their ticket before you leave.
  • Plan the journey around the cutoff. The clubs are spread across the south of the island; a private driver takes the guesswork out, and FirstBali arranges drivers.
  • Travel as a mixed group if you can, since the venues say they strongly prefer it.
  • Dress to the code: being turned away at the door costs you the night whatever list you are on. See the Bali club dress code.

Beware of "free entry" offers elsewhere

The partner venues' lists are their own, on their own pages. FirstBali runs no list of its own; we send you to the venue's. Anyone offering a private "free entry" list for these clubs is not offering the venue's guestlist. Our promoter guide explains the difference.

How FirstBali helps

Tell the concierge the night and the group. We send the night's guestlist page, book a table with the venue if you want one, organise the ride and tell you when the venue has confirmed. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.
