Cashless clubs in Bali: card, QRIS and cash rules
Savaya says it is a cashless venue, Zumana takes only card and QRIS, Rock Bar card or QR only. What each venue states on its own pages, and how to prepare before a night out in Bali.

Several of Bali's biggest nightlife venues no longer take cash. Savaya describes itself as a cashless venue, Zumana accepts only card and QRIS payments, and Rock Bar at AYANA takes card or QR only. Bring a working card (and ideally a second one) to any big club night, and treat cash as a backup for the ride home, not for the bar.
What each venue says
These are the venues' own words, read on their official pages. Payment rules change, so the night's page and the venue's terms always have the last word.
Savaya
Savaya's FAQ is plain: "Savaya is a cashless venue; cash payments may only be accepted in exceptional circumstances with prior management approval and are not guaranteed." In practice, plan the whole night on a card. The same FAQ adds that lockers exist but are limited — more on that in bags and lockers at Bali clubs.

Zumana
Zumana, the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, answers the question in one line on its FAQ: "We only accept card & QRIS payments. No cash." QRIS is Indonesia's national QR payment standard, read by most local banking and wallet apps.

Rock Bar
AYANA's cliffside bar in Jimbaran takes payment by card or QR only. It is not a club, but it is where many nights in the south begin, and the same rule applies to everyone who reserves there.
Desa Kitsuné
Desa Kitsuné's public FAQ does not state a payment policy at the time of writing. We will not guess: if it matters for your night, ask the concierge and we check with the venue.

Card, QRIS or both?
A card is the safe default. International cards are what visitors use at these venues, and it is the only method every venue above names. Tell your bank you are travelling so the first payment in Indonesia is not blocked, and carry a second card from another bank in case one is declined.
QRIS works if you have an Indonesian bank account or a wallet app that supports it. Some international apps can now pay QRIS codes; check yours before you rely on it, not at the bar.
Cash still has its uses: small purchases on the way, a tip for a driver, a road-side snack. Just do not plan on it inside the venues above.
A table and the payment question
A table's minimum spend is set by the venue for each night, and FirstBali never quotes it in writing — the concierge confirms it with the venue. If the venue asks for a deposit, it follows the venue's own terms, and a paid deposit is not a confirmation: the table is yours once the venue confirms it. The bill on the night is settled under the same cashless rules as the rest of the venue. More in booking a table in Bali and bottle service in Bali.
Before you leave the villa
- One main card, one backup card, from two different banks.
- Your phone charged — QRIS, your digital guestlist ticket and your ride home all live on it.
- Your ID: all three Savaya Group venues are 21+ and ask for a valid photo ID. See passport or copy at Bali clubs.
- A small amount of cash for the journey, kept apart from your cards.
- A plan for getting home — a driver for the night removes the question entirely.
How FirstBali helps
FirstBali books tables with the venue on your behalf and arranges the car that takes you there and back. Write to the concierge: an assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening. Tell us the night, the group and what you need to know — payment included — and we check it with the venue rather than guessing.
