Girls night out in Bali: sunset, dinner, then dancing
A girls night out in Bali built in stages: a sunset drink, a dinner worth dressing for, a cocktail bar, and Zumana, Desa Kitsuné or Savaya only if the group still wants to dance.
Updated October 26, 2026 · 4 min read

A good girls night out in Bali is rarely just a club. It runs in stages: a drink as the sun goes down, a long dinner, a cocktail bar, and then, if the group still has the energy, Zumana in Kuta, Desa Kitsuné in Canggu or Savaya on the Pecatu cliffs. Plan the evening around one area so nobody spends it in a car, and decide early whether the night ends on a dance floor. For the club night itself — registration, bags, ID — see group of girls in Bali.
Choose the area first
Bali is not a city where you hop between neighbourhoods on foot. Pick one area and let the evening unfold there:
- Canggu and Berawa: restaurants, speakeasies and Desa Kitsuné's Garden party on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Kuta: Zumana at Sunset Bay, with its restaurant Manuza on site, so sunset, dinner and the dance floor share an address.
- Uluwatu and Pecatu: clifftop sunsets and Savaya, for the night you dress up for.
- Seminyak: Sardine for dinner and Les Toilettes at the same address.
Stage one: the sunset drink
Start where you can see the sky change. At Zumana, beachfront daybeds face Sunset Bay. In Jimbaran, Rock Bar is AYANA's cliffside bar, reached by inclinator; guests watch the sun set over the sea and stay as the DJs play on, and payment is by card or QR only. On the Uluwatu side, El Kabron's Sunset Theater sits at the cliff edge.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Rock Bar
Bars · Jimbaran
Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, stretching some 270 metres along the rocks above the ocean, with 880 seats spread over 22 areas. Guests reach it by inclinator, watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on. The bar pours cocktails inspired by the colours of the sea alongside Mediterranean tapas built on Jimbaran Bay seafood. Non-resident visitors can reserve; the Round Deck is kept for villa guests and the Top Bar for hotel guests. Payment by card or QR only.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Stage two: a dinner worth dressing for
Dinner is where the night is actually spent, so choose a room the group will enjoy for a while:
- Ina Ré, the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, mixes Mediterranean flavours with Latin American street food — paellas to share, ceviches, tacos — a few steps from the Garden.
- Giselle in Canggu calls itself "a house for friends, strangers, and stories", with a seafood-led Riviera menu across a dining room and a courtyard.
- MiA in Berawa builds a modern Asian menu for sharing, with drinks made to match the food.
- Moi on Jalan Pantai Berawa is a Mediterranean dinner that shifts after sunset, when the evening turns into a party.
Ina Ré
Restaurants · Canggu
Ina Ré is the restaurant of Desa Kitsuné, the lifestyle village on Jalan Munduk Catu in Canggu. Chilean executive chef Cristian Encina brings together Mediterranean flavours and Latin American street food: paellas to share, ceviches, tacos, empanadas and wood-fired meats such as the Stockyard tomahawk. The space draws on Balinese arts and crafts, with handmade materials, weavings and traditional motifs, and includes private dining rooms for groups. Sunday brunch has its own menu, and so do Courtyard Saturdays.
Giselle
Restaurants · Canggu
Giselle is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Tanah Barak in Canggu, created by a group of friends with deep roots in hospitality, who call it “a house for friends, strangers, and stories”. The mood is the Riviera brought to Bali, across a dining room and a courtyard. Seafood leads the menu, with crudos, a seafood platter, sea bream sashimi and flambéed fish, alongside homemade pasta and plates for sharing, built on local, responsibly sourced ingredients. On Friday and Saturday nights, Club 55 takes over after dinner.
MiA
Restaurants · Berawa
MîA is a modern Asian restaurant and bar on Jalan Raya Semat in Tibubeneng, in the Berawa part of Canggu. The menu is built for sharing, pairing Asian heritage with contemporary technique: Wagyu gyoza with karashi, soft-shell crab with amazu ponzu, Chilean sea bass tempura and Thai green curry. Carefully crafted drinks are made to match the food, and the setting blends modern style with traditional touches under the open Bali sky. A table here is made for gathering friends.
Moi
Restaurants · Berawa
MOI Canggu is a Mediterranean restaurant on Jalan Pantai Berawa, inspired by the Aegean and by Bodrum, home of its sister address MOI Bodrum. The kitchen works with fire and Mediterranean flavours, for dinners meant to be lingered over, and the cocktails draw on sun-warmed botanicals. After sunset the mood shifts and the evening turns into a party. Themed nights include Monday Society and Bazaar MOI, an Eastern Mediterranean dinner spectacle with dancers and costumes.

Stage three: a bar in between
A bar between dinner and the club gives the group time to decide. The Shady Pig in Berawa is a speakeasy behind an unmarked door, where you need the password to get in; the cocktails lean experimental and DJs take over later in the night. Other options are in the cocktail bars guide.
Stage four: dancing, if you want it
If the group wants a dance floor, the three partner clubs give three different endings:
- Desa Kitsuné, Tuesday and Friday: the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine — guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. The pool is decorative, not for swimming.
- Zumana: weeknight rotation including Made in Kuta, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays, Zumana Sunday.
- Savaya: international headliners at weekends, Last Light from The Cube on Mondays, People of the Sun on Sundays. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026.

All three are 21+ with a valid photo ID, and all three say mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred. The guestlist is free and individual, entry is complimentary before the cutoff shown on the night's page, and registration never guarantees complimentary entry — at Desa Kitsuné, the men's cutoff is earlier. If the night is a celebration, a table is the only reserved space; its minimum spend is set by the venue per night, and it is yours once the venue confirms it.
Keep the group together
- One vehicle for the evening, with the return arranged before you go in. See a driver for the night.
- A meeting point inside the club — the table if you have one.
- Shoes for standing: the clubs are smart casual; ideas in the women's dress code guide.
How FirstBali helps
