Product launch event in Bali: the brief and the venues

Planning a product or brand launch in Bali: what to settle before choosing a venue, which places publish private events, and why branding, filming and press are always asked first.

Updated November 8, 2026 · 4 min read

A product launch in Bali starts with the brief, not the venue: who is invited, what the guests should see, and whether the brand needs the place to itself or a reserved corner of a working venue. Desa Kitsuné in Canggu publishes a private-events offer, White Rock Beach Club hosts events in enclosed suites, and at Savaya and Zumana a launch group relies on tables. No venue in our catalogue publishes a launch package, so FirstBali asks the venue for your date; nothing is confirmed until the venue confirms it.

A launch is not a party

A team night is for the people who come; a launch is for the brand, and the guests are its audience. That changes what the venue must do: a moment when everyone is looking the same way, light good enough for photographs, sound that lets a speaker be heard before the music, and a door that knows who is on the list. If what you are planning is closer to a company celebration, read a team offsite in Bali or a corporate dinner.

Settle these five points first

  1. The audience. Press, partners, customers, creators, or the team. Each expects a different evening.
  2. The reveal. A speech, a screening, a product on a table, or nothing formal at all.
  3. Exclusive or shared. The whole venue, a private space, or tables at a public night.
  4. Branding and filming. What you want to put up, and whether a crew will shoot.
  5. The guest list at the door. Names, ages and a contact for arrivals.

Points four and five decide the venue more than the view does.

Venues to consider

Desa Kitsuné, Canggu: a village with a brand already in it

Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné, in a 5,000 m² garden. Its private-events page offers the whole village, bringing together Café Kitsuné, Ina Ré, The Garden and the Maison Kitsuné boutique, or The Garden alone. A launch can move from an arrival coffee to a dinner at Ina Ré and then to the garden. Whether another brand's branding can sit inside a Maison Kitsuné village is a question for the venue, and the concierge puts it first. More in Desa Kitsuné private events.

White Rock Beach Club, Uluwatu: a suite for the reveal

White Rock Beach Club, on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, has enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean, a large covered restaurant, and hosts weddings and events. A suite gives a launch a closed room for the presentation, with the beach club around it.

Zumana, Kuta: a sunset as the backdrop

Zumana is the Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, designed by Rockwell Group, with ZENÍA, a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, at its centre, and its restaurant, Manuza, on site. Zumana publishes no private-hire offer, so a launch group reserves tables: a table is the only reserved space, its minimum spend is set by the venue per night and includes food and beverage credit on the map, and re-entry is only with a table.

Savaya, Uluwatu: the clifftop name

Savaya, on the Pecatu clifftop with The Cube framing the horizon, was named number one in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, as Savaya reports. It too publishes no private-hire offer; the table system applies, and anything more for a date is the venue's to say.

Luna Beach Club, Tabanan: architecture as the set

Luna Beach Club sits on the cliffs of the Tabanan coast inside Nuanu Creative City. Its bamboo architecture by Inspiral Architects won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the International Architecture & Design Awards in 2024, and evenings bring fire and light shows. Ask what it can host for your date.

The door, the photos and the guests

  • Age. Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné's parties are strictly 21+ with a valid passport or driver's licence, guests and crew alike.
  • Photos and filming. Venues have their own rules; read club photo rules in Bali and expect filming to need the venue's agreement.
  • Savaya's door. Cashless, bags searched, limited lockers, no luggage, which matters for equipment and samples.
  • Dress. Smart casual at the partner clubs: share the dress code with guests.

Getting guests there and home

Invited guests arrive from hotels across the island. FirstBali arranges cars and vans with drivers, including a Toyota Alphard or a Hiace Premio for small groups, so arrivals and departures are part of the plan rather than left to each guest.

How FirstBali makes the enquiry

Send the concierge the five points above, the date and a second choice. FirstBali books on your behalf: it puts the brief to the venues, comes back with what each can arrange, and books what you choose. Any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.
