Incentive trip in Bali: the moments that reward a team
An incentive trip to Bali is remembered for a few moments: the arrival, a gala dinner, a night at Savaya, Zumana or Desa Kitsuné, a day at sea. How to plan each one, with what venues publish.

An incentive trip to Bali is remembered for four or five moments, not for the schedule: a smooth arrival, a gala dinner in a setting nobody expected, one signature night at a club such as Savaya, a day at sea, and free time that feels earned. Plan those moments first and fill the rest lightly; FirstBali asks each venue what it can arrange for your group.
Reward, not work
An incentive trip is a thank-you, so it should not look like an offsite. If the group needs meeting rooms and sessions, read the team offsite guide instead. Here, the agenda is a handful of shared highlights, with time in between for people to rest, explore or go to the spa on their own.
The arrival sets the tone
The first hour in Bali decides how the trip feels. A driver waiting at arrivals, with luggage handled and a cool car, is worth more than any welcome speech. The VIP arrival guide explains what can be arranged at the airport, and airport transfers covers the ride itself. For a group, a Toyota Hiace Premio with driver carries everyone together; a Toyota Alphard suits smaller parties or the top achievers.
A gala evening
One formal evening gives the trip its centrepiece. Several venues publish this format on their own sites:
- The Apurva Kempinski, Nusa Dua: the Candi Ballroom, pillarless with an ocean view, offered for incentive programmes, product launches and executive retreats.
- White Rock, Uluwatu, lists gala dinners among its corporate formats, with the Samudera Ballroom above Melasti Beach.
- Akar, near Ubud, a charcoal-grill steakhouse in the jungle that has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards, offers exclusive venue hire for corporate events.
The Apurva Kempinski
Restaurants · Nusa Dua
The Apurva Kempinski Bali is a five-star resort on the cliffs of Nusa Dua, facing the Indian Ocean, and its dining spreads across several venues. Koral, which the hotel presents as Bali's first aquarium restaurant, serves set and tasting menus beside the tanks, adults only at dinner. Izakaya by OKU is a sister to OKU in Jakarta; Reef Beach Club sits on the sand beside a 42-metre infinity pool; Bai Yun serves hot pot and dim sum; L'Atelier by Cyril Kongo is a lounge with ocean views and Mediterranean tapas.
White Rock Beach Club
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.
Akar
Restaurants · Ubud
Akar, meaning “root”, is the steakhouse of K Club in Kedisan, Tegallalang, north of Ubud, set in the greenery of the jungle. Spread over two floors with two bars and an open kitchen, it grills Australian and Japanese cuts, Wagyu included, over charcoal, alongside seafood, charcoal-roasted bone marrow and a curated wine list. On Friday and Saturday nights dinner turns festive, with live DJs, dancers and a laser show. Akar has won Best Luxury Steakhouse in Indonesia at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.
Every venue that publishes a corporate offer is in the corporate dinner guide.
The signature night
Many incentive groups want one night they will talk about at home. The three partner clubs each offer a different one:
- Savaya, on the clifftop in Pecatu, Uluwatu: named number one in Asia three years running and fifth in the world in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs. Headliners play at weekends, and Last Light on Mondays is a sunset set from The Cube.
- Zumana, at Sunset Bay in Kuta: a Savaya Group beach club designed by Rockwell Group around ZENÍA, a sculpture by Daniel Popper, with Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays.
- Desa Kitsuné, Canggu: garden parties on Tuesdays and Fridays, rain or shine; the village also offers private events for the whole grounds or The Garden alone.

Zumana
For a group, a table is the only reserved space. Its minimum spend is set by the venue for each night, and at Savaya and Zumana the table map says it includes food and beverage credit; re-entry there is only possible with a table. All three clubs are 21+ with a valid photo ID, so check every guest's age before promising the night. Savaya and Zumana publish no corporate or buyout offer: the concierge asks what can be arranged. VIP table areas and the VIP experience explain what a group table looks like.
A day at sea
A private yacht turns a free day into a highlight: swimming, lunch on board, the islands off the coast. The yacht charter guide and island hopping show the trips on FirstBali's list. Keep a spare day in the plan in case the sea does not cooperate.
A drive for the top achievers
Some programmes reward the top of the list with something personal. The catalogue includes chauffeured limousines — a Mercedes-Benz S400, a BMW 730Li or a Rolls-Royce Ghost — and supercars such as a Lamborghini Huracán or a Ferrari California Cabriolet. See the supercar rental guide for how that works.
Free time that feels earned
Leave whole afternoons open. A beach club day bed, a spa, a long lunch: the concierge can book them for individuals during the trip, so the group does not have to move as one. Best beach clubs in Bali is a good list to share with the group.
How FirstBali arranges it
Send the concierge your dates, the size of the group, and the moments you want. We ask each venue on your behalf and check what can be arranged; a room, table, boat or car is yours once the venue or owner confirms it, and any minimum spend or deposit follows the venue's terms — a deposit is not a confirmation. An assistant answers at any hour, the team through the Bali day and evening.

Questions we get asked

+Can a company book Savaya for its group?
Savaya publishes no corporate or buyout offer. A table is the usual way for a group, and the concierge asks the venue what else can be arranged.

Only to guests aged 21 or over with a valid photo ID: Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are all 21+. Entry is never guaranteed.
+Can you meet the group at the airport?
Yes, with a driver and a van or cars from the catalogue. The VIP arrival guide explains what else can be requested at the airport.
+How much does an incentive trip cost?
It depends on the group, the dates and the venues. Each venue sets its own terms, which we share with you before you decide.
