Sunset DJ sets in Bali: one for every day of the week
Bali's named sunset DJ sets are Savaya's Last Light on Mondays and Zumana's Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. On other days, cliff and beach venues keep DJs playing through the sunset. A week planner.

Two sunset DJ sets in Bali have a name and a fixed day: Last Light at Savaya every Monday, played from The Cube on the Uluwatu cliff, and Ritual of the Sun at Zumana every Saturday, on the beach at Sunset Bay in Kuta. On the other days, the west-facing venues keep DJs playing as the sun goes down, from El Kabron's sunset parties with live musicians to Luna's cliffs in Tabanan. Here is how to put a sunset set into every day of your trip.

What a sunset DJ set is
A sunset set is built around the light rather than the clock: the DJ starts while the sky is still bright, follows it through gold and red, and hands the night over once it is dark. The music tends to stay warm and melodic while the sun is up. The time of sunset itself shifts through the year, which is why no venue's programme pins it down, and why the night's page is where you check when to arrive.
For the named sunset parties in detail, read Bali sunset parties; for a drink with a view rather than a set, the best sunset spots.
Monday: Last Light at Savaya
Savaya sits 100 metres above the Indian Ocean in Pecatu, and DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs named it the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026. Every Monday, Last Light is a sunset set from The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. It is the island's clearest answer to "sunset DJ on a weekday". Savaya Last Light explains how the evening runs.
Saturday: Ritual of the Sun at Zumana
Zumana is Savaya Group's beach club at Sunset Bay, with an open-air dance floor beside beachfront daybeds and pools, and ZENÍA, Daniel Popper's 10-metre sculpture, at its centre. Saturday is Ritual of the Sun, the night built around the sky, and the beach faces the sunset directly. Ritual of the Sun covers it in full.
Sunday: People of the Sun at Savaya
Savaya's Sundays are People of the Sun, and some are billed as a sunset set. Check the night's page: the format and the artist are named there.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
The other days: venues where DJs play through sunset
These venues are not built around one named sunset night, but their DJs play as the sun goes down:
- El Kabron, Uluwatu: sunset parties on the Pecatu cliffs, with DJs joined by live saxophone, violin and trumpet; the Afro House Sunset Party and the White Sunset Party are among its weekly regulars.
- Luna Beach Club, Tabanan: on the cliffs inside Nuanu Creative City; DJs play through sunset, and evenings bring fire and light shows.
- Rock Bar, Jimbaran: AYANA's cliffside bar; guests watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on.
- Berawa and Uluwatu beach clubs: Atlas and Finns keep DJs going through the day, and White Rock has resident DJs every day.
El Kabron
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
El Kabron stands on the limestone cliffs of Pecatu in Uluwatu, above the Indian Ocean, and has been open since 2011. It has three parts: the Hedonism Lounge, an adults-only infinity-pool area with daybeds and sofas; the Sunset Theater at the cliff edge, set up for sunset dinners; and a Mediterranean restaurant serving seafood, oysters, paella and steak. Its sunset parties bring DJs with live saxophone, violin and trumpet, with the White Sunset Party, the Afro House Sunset Party and pool parties among the weekly regulars.
Luna Beach Club
Beach clubs · Tabanan
Luna Beach Club is perched on the cliffs of the Tabanan coast, inside Nuanu Creative City by Nyanyi Beach, west of Canggu. Its bamboo architecture by Inspiral Architects won a Silver award for sustainable and green architecture at the 2024 International Architecture & Design Awards. The complex brings together two pools, jumping platforms and a water slide, Restaurant 369, the Utopia Cave Club and the Gardenia bamboo tree pods. DJs play through sunset, and evenings bring fire and light shows.
Rock Bar
Bars · Jimbaran
Rock Bar is AYANA Bali's cliffside bar in Jimbaran, stretching some 270 metres along the rocks above the ocean, with 880 seats spread over 22 areas. Guests reach it by inclinator, watch the sun set over the sea, then stay as the DJs play on. The bar pours cocktails inspired by the colours of the sea alongside Mediterranean tapas built on Jimbaran Bay seafood. Non-resident visitors can reserve; the Round Deck is kept for villa guests and the Top Bar for hotel guests. Payment by card or QR only.
White Rock Beach Club
Beach clubs · Uluwatu
White Rock Beach Club sits on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, near Uluwatu, at the end of the cliff. Guests settle on daybeds, sofas or cabanas around a lagoon pool and a rock pool; families have a kids' pool and a kids' menu. There is a spa, a large covered restaurant serving local and international dishes, and enclosed, air-conditioned party suites overlooking the pool and the ocean. Resident DJs play every day, and foam parties run at weekends. The club also hosts weddings and events.
After dark: Desa Kitsuné on Tuesdays and Fridays
Desa Kitsuné's garden in Canggu becomes the party every Tuesday and Friday, rain or shine, with guest DJs on Tuesdays and Bali-based DJs on Fridays. It is a garden rather than a sunset view, which makes it a good second stop once the sky is dark.
How to catch the set
- Arrive before the light changes. The best part of a sunset set is the build; check the night's page for when doors and the set start.
- Choose your spot. On the dance floor or at the cliff edge, the view is shared; a table or a daybed, booked through the venue, is the only reserved place.
- Check the terms. Guestlist, tickets only, or both, shown on the night's page; a list never guarantees entry.
- Plan the ride. Uluwatu, Kuta, Jimbaran and Tabanan are spread out; a car with driver waits while you watch.
Savaya, Zumana and Desa Kitsuné are 21+ with a valid photo ID. Tell the concierge which day you are free: FirstBali points you to that day's sunset set, sends the guestlist link, or books a table or daybed with the venue, which confirms it. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team through the Bali day and evening.
