DJ nights in Bali: where to hear the sets that matter
From sunset sets on Savaya's cliff to Zumana's weekly series and Desa Kitsuné's garden parties: the kinds of DJ night Bali offers, and how to follow each night's line-up.
Updated October 23, 2026 · 4 min read

Bali's DJ nights mostly happen in the open air, and the island's DJ-led venues run weekly series rather than one-off club nights. The three to know are the Savaya Group's: Savaya on the Uluwatu clifftop, Zumana at Sunset Bay in Kuta and Desa Kitsuné in Canggu. Each night's line-up is on its page on our events page; this guide explains the formats, so you can pick the kind of night before you pick the name on the flyer.

Five kinds of DJ night
- The sunset set. The music starts in daylight and builds as the light goes. Savaya's Monday "Last Light" is played from The Cube, the structure that frames the horizon on its cliff; see Savaya Last Light.
- The headliner night. Savaya programmes headliners at weekends. See Bali headliner nights.
- The weekly series. Zumana runs named nights: Ritual of the Sun on Saturday, Zumana Sunday, and a weeknight rotation that includes "Made in Kuta". Savaya's Sunday is "People of the Sun". See Zumana's weekly nights.
- The garden party. Desa Kitsuné's Tuesday and Friday parties take over the Garden of its Canggu village, "rain or shine". See the Desa Kitsuné guide.
- The indoor club. For a DJ in a room, MU:IN in Seminyak, a club brand born in Seoul, puts the DJ stage in the middle of the crowd, with residents and international guests on weekly signature nights.
Savaya: the reference
Savaya is the partner venue with an international ranking. DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs placed it #1 in Asia from 2024 to 2026 and #5 in the world in 2026, according to DJ Mag and Savaya. It is an open-air club with pools on the cliff at Pecatu. See the Savaya guide and Savaya headliner nights.
How to follow the line-ups
We do not name DJs in our guides: line-ups change, and the venue's flyer is the only reliable source. Instead:
- Open the night on our [events page](/events). Each flyer carries the venue's line-up and the buttons for that night: Guestlist, Ticket or Table.
- Read the night's page for its terms. A list one week can be a ticketed night the next, and a ticketed night can open a list later.
- Ask [the concierge](/concierge) if you want a particular sound or a particular night; we check with the venue.
For the music itself, Bali club music genres, house music in Bali and Bali techno clubs go deeper.
Getting in on a DJ night
- Guestlist: the venue's own, registered individually for each night on its page, with a digital ticket by email. Joining is free; entry is complimentary before that night's cutoff and reduced after (earlier for men at Desa Kitsuné). Registration does not guarantee complimentary entry, and mixed groups and couples are strongly preferred.
- Ticket: some nights are ticketed only, with official tickets only through the venue's own channel. At Savaya, "tickets are primarily for standing room only". See Bali club tickets.
- Table: the only reserved space, with a minimum spend set by the venue per night. At Savaya and Zumana, re-entry is only with a table.
All three partner venues are 21+, with a valid photo ID: a passport or a driver's licence.
Watching the set from a table
On a headliner night, a table gives your group a base for the whole set rather than a spot you defend on the floor. The flyer's Table button opens the venue's own table map for the night. Where you sit is the venue's decision; tell the concierge what matters to you, whether that is the view of the booth or of the sea, and we pass it on. The table is yours once the venue confirms it, and any deposit follows the venue's terms and is not a confirmation.
Savaya Bali
Clubs · Uluwatu
Savaya is a clifftop club in Pecatu, Uluwatu, set 100 metres above the Indian Ocean between jungle and limestone cliffs, with pools and The Cube, the landmark that frames its horizon. Named the number-one club in Asia three years running (2024–2026) and fifth in the world in 2026 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs, it is open daily: Last Light every Monday, weekday nights, and international headliners at weekends. Strictly 21+, smart casual.
Zumana
Beach clubs · Kuta
Zumana is a beach club at Sunset Bay in Kuta, a Savaya Group property designed by Rockwell Group around beachfront daybeds, poolside spaces, bars and an open-air dance floor. Its centrepiece is ZENÍA, "The Eternal Host", a 10-metre sculpture by Daniel Popper made with Balinese artisans from Ubud, and its restaurant is Manuza. Open daily: Zumana Sunday, Monday and Tuesday every week, headliners on Wednesdays and Fridays, Ritual of the Sun on Saturdays. 21+, smart casual.
Desa Kitsuné
Clubs · Canggu
Desa Kitsuné is a lifestyle village in the heart of Canggu — desa means village — set in a 5,000 m² garden by the Savaya Group with the French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné. Café Kitsuné, the Ina Ré restaurant and a Maison Kitsuné boutique share the grounds, and every Tuesday and Friday the Garden becomes the party, rain or shine: guest DJs on Tuesdays, Bali-based DJs on Fridays. Parties are 21+, smart casual.
MUIN
Clubs · Seminyak
MU:IN Bali brings a nightlife brand born in Seoul to Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak. The club is designed around sound and sightlines: a towering sound system, immersive lasers, a kinetic lighting rig with LED production, and a stage that puts the DJ in the middle of the crowd. Resident DJs and international guests rotate through weekly signature nights, while VIP sofas with bottle service look straight onto the main floor. Entry is for guests aged 21 and over.
Sunset with live musicians
If you like a DJ with instruments, El Kabron, also on the Pecatu cliffs, runs sunset parties where DJs play with live saxophone, violin and trumpet. It is a beach club, not a nightclub; see the El Kabron guide.
How FirstBali helps
Tell the concierge the nights you are in Bali and the sound you like. We send each night's page, book tables with the venues, organise a driver for the ride home and tell you when the venue has confirmed. An assistant answers at any hour, and the team works through the Bali day and evening.

Questions we get asked
+Where are the best DJ nights in Bali?
The Savaya Group's three venues are the ones to know: Savaya, which DJ Mag ranked #1 in Asia from 2024 to 2026, Zumana in Kuta and Desa Kitsuné in Canggu. MU:IN in Seminyak is the indoor option.
+Who is playing in Bali this week?
Each night's line-up is on its flyer on our events page. We do not list DJs in guides because line-ups change.
+Is there a DJ sunset session in Bali?
Yes: Savaya's Monday "Last Light" is a sunset set from The Cube, and Zumana's Saturday is Ritual of the Sun.
+Do I need a ticket for a DJ night?
Only if the night is ticketed only; otherwise the venue's free guestlist applies. The night's page shows which.
+Can I book a table near the DJ?
You can ask; the venue decides the placement. FirstBali passes the request on and tells you once the venue confirms.
